We had Gary help us out, he was finishing up a client, my son liked the guys cut and said that's what he wanted. Gary did exactly what he wanted, when i tell you the smile he had when he saw one side of his cut done already while Gary worked on the other side is worth it. Has 3 chairs in the main room and Sergio cuts in a smaller room with his camera equipment, photography stands, Johnny b hair products and tv on the wall Barber Skills (4.5/5) - Sergio used an array of equipment which included shears, razors, clipper over comb, and even knew how to tackle the double cowlick on the back of my head by ensuring to cut in a way that my hair flowed naturally. Sergio was very detailed and precise. The only thing I can knock him for is that the haircut was expected to be 1 hour and 15 min but ended up being 1 hour and 40 min which is quite long. Customer Service (5/5) - Sergio being a hair educator for Johnny B products was very detailed with how he ensured I got the cut I wanted. In the beginning he consulted with what exactly I wanted, throughout the cut he explained to me different products he was using and why, and also some of the steps he did to ensure my double cowlick would grow in nicely after the cut. Sergio also did a razor fade (with shaving gel) which not too many people do nowadays, then styled my hair with blowdrying/pre styler/texture powder/Johnny B pomade. One may think he was marketing the Johnny B product but at the same time I appreciated the care and generosity with styling my hair Conversation (5/5) - Sergio is very easy to talk to and although it was my first ever appointment with him it felt like I've been going to him for a while. Sergio takes time to get to know you as a person and offers to put on a Netflix show or movie of your choice. Gotta appreciate the hospitality. Pricing (5/5): $50 before tip. I'm used to paying around $40 pre tip.
