That was a good video spot. As for the haircut, she did a great job. It had been about 6 months since my last real haircut, so I was a little nervous that she'd butcher me. I almost regret not getting one of my sisters to fashion me a legit mullet by trimming up the sides and then throwing on a jean jacket over a Black Sabbath shirt so that I could have really created a spectacle. I do not recommend this salon at all, I had a terrible visit. And all because of Larisa. From the first minute she invited me to sit, she started being rude, when I asked where to put my bag she started yelling at me that I could put it anywhere. She asked how much I wanted to cut, when I said she smirked that it was too much, muttering under her breath. During the haircut she did not say a word, she just rudely twisted my head. There was such disgust on her face. I'm sorry but I will never come here again, even though our family used to come here for many years.Just awful, what a horribly rude woman, she should not work with people! Ashley and Chris are the best, most experienced and reliable choices and give great haircuts, too. It's a quick and efficient application. It's not luxury, but if you are gracefully aging and need your greys covered, it's the best place around. They do both women and men for color. And leave a generous tip, eh? I had an appointment for a one-process color at 10am today and when I arrived they looked at me like I had ten heads. Apparently, they either didn't record my appointment or put me down for another service. "Ashley" colored my hair, which is extremely fine/thin and shoulder length. I was charged $72.00 for this service, the highest price for color they can charge. The receipt says "Color Coarse Long." Again, my hair is extremely fine/thin and shoulder length, which is inconsistent with long, coarse hair. In fact, my hair is SO fine/thin that I've resorted to wearing hair toppers. "Ashley," with a straight face, tried convincing me that I have long, coarse hair. LOL! Has April Fool's Day arrived early? I came to Haircuts Ltd. to save a few bucks and ended up paying more than I have in that past for a one-process at higher end salons. Edit: So, it's the next day and I'm still furious, but more so about the permanent color. I had asked for a level 3 brown shade and ended up with jet black, a level 1. It took "Ashley" 35 minutes to apply the color and then she had me process the color for an additional 35 minutes. When I expressed my concern that it was processing too long, she told me that the toner she mixed in prevents the permanent color from over-processing. This made no sense to me, but I'm not a professional hairdresser and there was really nothing I could do, except perhaps wash the color out myself, which would have been viewed as aggressive behavior. So, I was forced to sit and allow my hair to over-process while "Ashley" attended to two other clients. If you look at the receipt, you'll see that I paid at 11:28 a.m., which is nearly 1.5 hours after "Ashley" began applying the permanent color. No wonder why I have jet black hair! It looks AWFUL. I'm hoping that washing my hair daily with clarifying shampoo will fade it a bit. DO NOT TRUST HAIRCUTS LTD. IN NATICK WITH YOUR COLOR SERVICE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! read more

Despite the fact that I now live in Boston, this is still my favorite place for haircuts in the greater Boston area. I found it because I used to live in Natick and it's just so convenient when shopping in the 9/27 plaza. I keep coming back because the staff are nice and the prices are reasonable. Most importantly, most of them really know what they are doing! It varies a little depending on who you get (hence 4 not 5 stars), but that's true of early every barber shop/hair salon. They have an app (iOS and Android) that allows you to book same-day appointments now. Based on overall experience-for-the-money, I'm planning to keep coming back! read more

I have wanted to get my hair colored purple for as long as I can remember. I decided to go to a salon rather than risking it and doing it myself. I asked for a nice lavender purple, and what I received was an extremely streaky mix of pink, all shades of purple, and no color/just bleach. On top of this, she cut my hair without asking, and cut it extremely unevenly. And even worse, was she left the bleach on my head for WAY too long to the point of unbearable pain and I am left with burns and scabs all over my scalp. I would NOT recommend this salon, I am left with MONTHS of work and money to be spent on salons and treatments to get my hair back to normal. Hi, My experiences with this Salon have been very disappointing to say the least. Around two months ago, I had longer hair and I was looking to get cleaned up just to maintain the shape and keep a clean look. I told my stylist exactly what I wanted which was a "scissor haircut." She proceeded to buzz the side of my head. Immediately I knew that this was a mistake and not what I wanted, but I didn't think it was that bad when I left. When I saw my friends a couple hours later, they all started laughing at me saying that it was one of the worst haircuts they've ever seen in their life. After hearing these comments, I realized I had no choice but to cut my hair. After five minutes of thinking, I decided to take matters into my own hands and buzz my hair completely. One haircut appointment and I went from nice long wavy hair to a buzz cut. This entire summer I have been trying my hardest to grow my hair out to get the same hair I had months prior. Today i noticed that my hair was getting a little shaggy again, so I decided to book an appointment and give this salon another chance to see if I could have a good experience. I asked for the same haircut as I did before, keeping the top and the back long, but cleaning up the sides and cleaning up my shape while keeping the length. My stylist decided to buzz half of the back of my head, making the back of my hair look like a mohawk. I am incredibly unsatisfied with my haircut today and I was really hoping for a successful appointment, but two times in a row I have been extremely disappointed. This experience is not worth $21. I would much rather book a haircut at SuperCuts instead of this place. If you are looking for a unsatisfying haircut, you might want to get this place a try. read more

Depending on who you get there, your haircut can range from really great to mediocre. I've been going here for a couple years now, and have never gotten a bad cut. You need to be really specific about what you want to, and sometimes they forget what you asked for and do something else, but it usually isn't that far off. The price for a men's cut is pretty unbeatable though, coming out to about $20 including the tip to the cutter. The waiting is also pretty negligible, averaging about 5 minutes, as they have a small handful of people on staff at all times. read more

I go here because it's close to my house and reasonably priced. They do a good job, although I've never got more than just a basic cut, so I can't really speak to their other services. I went in a few months ago for a women s cut....in the 5 minutes that the woman spent cutting my hair ....2 men had their hair cut in the chair next to me.....against my better judgment i got an eyebrow wax ( i really needed one ), and the woman badly burned my eyebrow to the point that i had a 3rd degree burn that took weeks to heal. I never said anything to a manager in fear that id only get an offer for another free wax. I call ahead to find out if my preferred stylists are working and the wait time. Once there I request the individuals I want. It's fast, it's relatively inexpensive. I'm not picky about haircuts, which is why I picked this establishment in the first place. I've gotten plenty of $16 haircuts and been satisfied with the result. But the woman who cut my hair snipped away for three minutes, not really following any of my instructions, and then tried to whisk me away. I asked her to take more off the top, she snipped for another 30 seconds or so and said she was done. I went back to my office and scratched an itch on the top of my head and little bits of hair came flying out. Normally that'd be the end of it, except I really just hated how it looked. My wife was getting her hair cut at an actual stylist that afternoon (a family friend) and I asked her to take a look at my hair and see if there was anything she could do. It was awful - the right side was abnormally short; the left side wasn't short at all. Hair was cut to completely different lengths, and she pointed all of these imperfections out in meticulous detail because that's kind of her personality. Anyway, it was beyond repair. There are $16 haircuts, and then there's this place. I won't go back again. Hopefully this review spares someone else a shoddy haircut. Not worth the convenience. Having been to many places for a haircut, I found Haircuts, LTD did a great haircut and the service was superior too. Since then I have been back several times and had different stylists. All the stylists were really good. I was impresses with the quality of the cut, the level of service and the fun environment was inviting and comfortable. I went there on a whim last summer evening and got a great hair cut from gail, I went back in early fall for another cut and gail not only gave me a cut but a color and some great advice on how to take care of my hair. I cannot even begin to express how wonderful she is. I went back just after new years and she was gone? all they would say say is she left suddenly? Well i ended up having my hair cut and colored by chris, and i have to tell you this woman has no idea about color! She treated me like i was expendable and could care less wheather i come back! Gail took her time and cared about not only what i wanted but took the time to explain everything she was doing. I will never go back to this place! And i will tell everyone i know not to go there! My husband had brought our two children here for basic haircuts a few times in the past 6 months and it was fine so this past weekend, I took the kids. After this most recent experience, though, we are not going back! Our 8 year old son's hair was completely crooked! the front of his hair could not have looked more like a train wreck! By the time he was standing in front of us and we were looking at it, the person who had cut his hair had moved on to the next client and wouldn't even make eye contact. We finally got the attention of another person who trimmed it up a bit but it still looks awful (will have to wait for it to grow out!) and strangers have even remarked on it because it's so strange looking! At the same time, someone was cutting our daughter's hair. She is 4.5 years old and was most excited because the previous time she'd been there the woman had put a little braid in the front of her hair at the end of the cut. This time, I asked for about an inch trim all the way around and the person cutting her hair took less than 1/4 inch off. Did not worry about making it even and barely touched the hair that frames her face. She was done and sent over to me (without any kind of braid or special attention) while I was dealing with her brother's terrible hair cut... by the time I could turn my attention to her and determine that my poor 4 year old was sad that she hadn't been given any kind of braid, the person who'd cut her hair had also moved on to another individual. Apparently they've decided that quick 5 minute hair cuts are the best way to help clients and even at the relatively inexpensive price, (16.95/child) it is NOT worth it for me to come back! Other places are just as inexpensive and will be more attentive. Terrible place. While there, I also witnessed at least three men's hair cuts that I looked at and thought: "Wow, that looks awful!" I have been there for my son's haircut (about two years old) about 5-6 times already. I went in today for my daughter's haircut for the first time (my son's twin). After waiting a good 15 minutes, she was taken in by one of the 6 or 7 ladies there. She sat on my lap - she went through about 3 or 4 snips of her hair at the bottom - that is about 1/4th of an inch at the bottom. I asked her to trim the rest of her hair but she told me it needed to grow out a little bit more. I got all the hair she cut in a ziplog bag (probably about 50 strands of about 1/4th inchs at the most - and all that took were 3 or 4 snips). I could have done that at home. I told them it was completely unreasonable to charge me $13 for that - I could have done that at home if they told me they weren't going to cut anything more than the bottom 1/4th inch - and with just 3 or 4 scissor cuts. That's all it took. They said they had to charge me full price. How is that reasonable? Whatever happened to the customer being reimbursed for not being satified by a haircut? I've been there many times for my son's haircut but would never go there again after how I was treated. read more
