We've…read morebeen doing regular haircuts for about a year and a half now, and every time it has been a struggle. We tried Supercuts and then my husband's barbershop, my mistake both times . It usually ended with two parents holding him while trying to distract him just long enough to get the haircut done. I finally decided to try an actual kid-friendly, toddler-friendly salon and what a difference! My son sat by himself! He still wasn't exactly enjoying the haircut lol, but he actually let it happen without us having to hold him down. Dawnette was amazing. She was so patient and you can tell she really knows her demographic and knows how to work with toddlers and kids. She was very proactive about keeping him busy, distracted and engaged throughout the whole process. She made it easy for us parents to clean him up too. The whole location is made for kids. The artwork and decor are so fun and creative, there are things everywhere to keep little ones interested, and just good vibes all around. Even the quieter buzzers made such a difference for my son. For the first time, he didn't just get a quick buzz cut because we were trying to get it over with. He got an ACTUAL haircut, and it came out so cute! Dawnette took us over the phone as a walk-in, so I'm honestly so thankful for the happy coincidence that we ended up with her. So happy we found this spot. We will definitely be back!

They do nice fades and IMO all the kids hair cuts are very similar. If you want a more trendy cut like those taper fades, burst fades etc.. go to a barber not here. Overall, I'm happy with their services. My only complaint is that the pricing is inconsistent. It used to be $22 a cut when we first came, then went up to $25/$28 a cut last year depending on who was collecting the money at the register, then came back in June before his birthday and was $28 a cut. Came today 2 months later for a cut before school and the cut is now $33.

I made an appt for three of my children and one of the stylist called us before someone else and I totally understand, it was a mistake. A little before that a woman came in with a man, seemed like the owners or at least the managers. She then called my son's name and I said right here, she called someone else that literally has just arrived. I told her sorry I think you didn't hear me but were here. She apologized and proceeded to tell me she already called another child. I said I know but im here and have been here before them. I also made an appt before. She said well I already called him with an unprofessional actitud, proceeded to let her know I know but were here and she simply said you can wait they will call you right now. I myself am a small business latina owner and always support others but she simply didnt care if I did business with her. I deal with customers on a daily and we live and thrive of our customers. To be treated with such unprofessionlism was awful because that's what keep ones business going. If she treated me like this and it's a kid hair place I could only imagine how she treats her staff. Very unfortunate they lost 4 local customers, do not recommend this place. There are so many others like the one we went to after were did a great job, kind, professional, cheaper and less than half the wait.
