Only because you're not allowed to give zero stars. I made an appointment two weeks in advance for after work. After rushing to make the appointment, it looked as though the salon was closed. Called the phone number and the woman said she had been called away for an emergency appointment and had been trying to reach me. Chose to take my business elsewhere and ask for a refund on the Groupon rather than waste my time going all the way there again to be met with a dark salon. read more

Best colorist I've ever been to! Kate is fantastic and I've never left the salon without being 100% satisfied with my hair! She really listens to exactly you want. I brought in a picture of a ombré/bolyage that I wanted and she matched it perfectly! She is up to date with the latest hair color and cut trends. My best friend had been doing my hair for more than 20 years!!!! My friend was located more than an hour away (each way) and worked out of her home.... I felt as though things were to chaotic at her house and I just wasn't getting anything different so I felt it was time to find someone new. VERY SCARY -BUT then I met KATE MOONEY! During my first visit she talked to me and actually listened to what I wanted - and I wasn't even nervous I was EXCITED for a change. :) Kate gave me an awesome new haircut which I received MANY compliments on! She now cuts and colors my son's hair, my mom's hair and mine amongst the many others I refer! The salon is adorable and the staff is great - So happy I took a chance on something new. I don't usually write reviews but this time I felt I need to let others know about my experience with hairspray salon. So I purchased 2 groupons (one for me & one for my daughter) for haircut, deep conditioning and style. I booked an appointment for myself first and I'm really thankful I tried them first and not my daughter. Let me just start by the hair wash, so she wet my hair put some shampoo on the crown part of my head and at the same time told me she's applying a conditioner to the ends. So I asked her, did you shampoo the hair? She said yes, which is weird cause it's my head so I believe I would feel my hair being washed or at least smell a nice smell of shampoo. All she did is apply a little shampoo to top part & at the same time applied the condioner to the ends without rinsing the shampoo first ? Weird but won't hurt. It literally took her about a minute to rinse so I asked her about deep conditioning she said that's what I applied to your hair and it's supposed to stay on it for 3 minutes which of Ofcourse never happened. I told her that usually other stylists either leave the deep conditioning longer on the hair or put me under the dryer. Then came the styling part; let's just say even the stylist herself couldn't argue when I didn't like what she did. Till then it was ok. May be she's a beginner stylist which usually happens when u purchase a groupon. Now it's time to redeem the groupon; for some reason that I don't quite understand ;she redeemed both groupons (mine & my daughter's) and when I asked her to unredeem my daughter's she said she can't. Now I had to call the owner, who, by the way was there all the time and didn't even care to ask what's going on. I told her I'm not willing to bring my daughter, she didn't even bother to ask why, just said "have groupon call me". read more

First of all let me start by saying I never write reviews but I felt that I have an obligation this time around. I was looking for a new salon and read an advertisement on "The Patch" it spoke of a new salon in Westborough. It was described as a modern, energetic, upbeat salon which specializes in modern couture cuts . I walked in the wait wasn't to long, but I think what they should really describe themselves as is loud and obnoxious. I was shocked listening to the owner and the other stylist converse with each other during my service and about the people who had just previously left there shop, I received a very pricey and average cut . I would not recommend this salon if your looking for a stylist who gives you there undivided attention and a god haircut. Best regards, One star to many!! read more

I am hooked on her method of applying Extreme lashes. She takes her time and is precise. Great salon, conveniently located and clean. Mi have also had her apply highlights.
