    Beef "Shawarma"

Hear me out here. So about a year ago or two the wrap was about double the size. I think it may have always been expensive (you pay about $16 with tax) But the red sauce is to die for. Mic that in the right ratio with the white sauce (which is dairy free for those wondering) - and you get taken up to heaven. For $16 that's a deal. It's worth atleast trying. You'll love it. You won't love the price but your miser attitude will abate after the first bite I promise. It's not even real shawarma but trust me you'll love it. If you ask for sauce to go check thrice. 3 4 stars because the other location is better and next to an ice cream shop

I asked for extra everything and took the liberty to dress it myself (I'm a cook I know what's good). They gave me extra greens and sauce on the side as I requested. Honestly huge amount of food and very fucking good in fact get it over fries extra sauce extra greens and leave a fuckin tip cause you prolly couldn't cook this shit and they provide $1.25 lemonade dawg. I spent $30 on two monster to go orders. Did that shit with a smile. I got left overs and I'm already tired.

The food is tasty, and you can smell the freshness as you walk in. They make everything made to order so be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes. We took it to go and it was just as tasty at home. The service wasn't as great as it has been, but not enough to deter coming back.

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. Usually I'm a chill guy, but this time, no more Mr. Nice guy. First things first, the flavors were very not popping! Secondly, I paid $14 for a gyro that was so small that it was $2 per bite. YOWZERS! This was the opposite of bang for your buck! Buck for your bang? Bang for your buck? Heh, more like DANG for your YUCK! I am NEVER coming back to.... WAIT! That's the OLD me. The NEW me takes this experience and THANKS the hardworking employees who worked hard to prepare the food, before proceeding to raise this review by one star for the excellent service. This place is a nice establishment, but I will NEVER be coming back (because I don't live near here. That's the only reason I'm not coming back) Bro is NOT Rex splode

This is a great and proven restaurant to go to for Halal food. I usually get the combination plate over rice. The combination plate consists of gyro and chicken meat over rice served with a side salad (lettuce and tomato) along with white sauce and hot sauce. This entree is very good because the chicken is well seasoned as is the gyro meat. The rice has a nice flavor and the white sauce is a must for this type of meal! Service has always been satisfying here. You can't go wrong getting food from here. They've been consistently good the numerous times I've been here.

DOORDASH order - I got the combination plate which comes with lamb, chopped beef, grilled chicken thighs and a salad over basmati rice with white sauce. Filling and delicious. I love Middle eastern fare and this place hits the spot for basic satisfying halal food. I chose to add the green sauce as well but it was forgotten to be added with my meal.

Got our food to go, it was so delicious. Probably some of the best halal food I've had in Austin, all of the flavors blended so well together and everything was so fresh.

Two of these wraps and one order of fries seen here with no drinks was $40. Wayyyy too expensive.

This is the kinda food quality where you'd be like this is a good cheap eat where you spend like $20/25 for two and feel good about it. That is not the case here. Food was wayyy over priced. $15 for a wrap with no side that is not super big or anything. Flavors were fine and would be good if it was cheap but for this price I expect something exceptional and it wasn't that. Fries were $5 and a decent size but straight out of the Sysco bag. $40 for two people for lunch was way too much for the portions and taste here.

    Love this!!!!

Always good stuff! Great location, it does need some parking help though. Here's a Quick lesson of something I didn't know in relation to ordering. Chicken Shawarma = breast. Chicken kabob = cut in chunks just 'Chicken' = thighs. I like the chicken option. Nice and juicy. The food is good, hot and well seasoned. The guys behind the counter are always shuffling and super busy, but really nice and helpful when ordering. Music playing in background let's you know your food is being made with love! Absolutely love the bathroom setup. More restaurants need to take note of the double option and stop playing!

Lamb Kebab Over Rice pretty good dish could've added more lamb and the customer service was shakey I would recommend Chicken Shawarma Over Rice or Lamb Shawarma Over Rice no kebabs.

Austin doesn't have a huge halal scene, so as far as halal goes, this place is super solid. Chicken over rice tasted exactly how it should!

Absolutely ridiculous. Waited 35 minutes for an order while 5 other orders after mine came out. Never going back.

Firstly, when we got there the TV screen was broken (that's fine, things happen) but there weren't employees anywhere. We made the order online and waited a sec and had to walk around the truck area to find them. Weird situation there. And for the food, it was average. Nothing to hype up about or anything. I got the Greek fries and added some stuff to it and it wasn't anything too special. Good, but nothing special. My friend got a bowl and said the same. Maybe we just had bad luck and will need to try again though.

Okay here are my honest reviews of the 3 dishes we tried: Greek fries: They are thinner fries, sprinkled with oregano YES ITS AMAZING & a very yummy feta cheese. I'm Middle Eastern and I don't know where / who makes this feta cheese but it was AMAZING. It was my first time trying fries with oregano and well let me tell you IM HOOKED. They gave us size of Ziki sauce and oh man oh man that sauce is sooooo good Gyro burrito: This was a very decent size burrito. Hubs couldn't finish it all so we actually ended up taking half home as left over. The gyro was not too oily, dry or salty. The combination of whipped feta and the cilantro cabbage claw really brought unique and flavorful taste to this burrito. Chicken Bowl: Those CHICKPEAS are to die for. This bowl I think is bigger than the bowls at chipotle. The chicken was very nicely marinated, the Ziki sauce, the feta cheese, and those chickpeas combined made this bowl so good. This was our first time trying Ziki and let me tell you when I say it won't be the last. Highly recommend it.

The indoor space flows nicely with the outdoors and feels trendy and polished without being overly formal. Parking is the typical South Congress challenge. There's access to the Music Lane underground garage (with a small validation discount from the restaurant) plus nearby paid lots and street options, but it can feel competitive and a bit chaotic, especially on busier evenings. Plan ahead or use rideshare if you can. Service was great--attentive and smooth throughout our meal with two adults and two kids. We ordered the whipped feta spread (excellent with the pistachios and oil; the house bread was a bit salty), Brussels sprouts (cooked perfectly), grilled chicken kebabs, the shawarma-spiced steak frites, and the grilled Branzino. The Branzino was the clear star of the show--flavorful and well-executed. The chicken and steak were mediocre at best. For dessert we shared the sticky date cake, which had a nice crunch outside and was warm and moist inside. It's a bit pricey (we paid over $240 for the four of us), but the setting, strong service, and that excellent Branzino make it worthwhile. I'd definitely come back.
