I had the lamb kebob. Not bad. The rice was a bit dry but the server was very kind. Clean interior too!

This place was delicious. I will definitely be going back, staff was very friendly and welcoming. It wasn't too busy while I was there so we were able to get out food quickly. It's a nice restaurant in the domain area, so definitely worth a try if ever in the area. The mix grill plate was good to get a bit from some of their popular items, the lamb in my opinion was way better than the chicken. The chicken was a tiny bit cold, which probably didn't make it as good but the lamb was very delicious. 4.8/5 The pita bread was FRESH, like it came out hot, and soft, it was sooo good, literally paired so good with the hummus, top contender for me. 5/5 Overall, I'll definitely be back!

Excellent food, attentive service, and a great lunch spot during the week for those that work in the area. The place was empty when I went in around lunch time during the week, but don't let that fool you. I got the lamb pita wrap, and while I was waiting was treated to some complimentary pita bread that was perfectly airy and fluffy. The lamb itself was very tender and flavorful. My only slight critique is I wanted more! And the potion size was just okay. I'll definitely return for another work lunch to try more of the menu.

The food here was outstanding! Highly recommend the chicken plate. Sarah was very friendly and even brought us some free appetizers. The ambiance was nice and relaxing as well. We will definitely be returning here soon!

Just try it. You won't regret it! The Fiery Walnut Dip is probably the best thing I've eaten, ever.

The food is wonderful and worth the value. Plate comes with hummus, grilled veggies, pita bread and soup. I'd like to try lamb tikka and their falafel next time. Also the staff are very friendly.

Pita Shack & Grill isn't trying to be anything too upscale, but it delivers solid Mediterranean flavors and dependable meals. A good go-to when you want something tasty and straightforward.

WOW! Let's start with the menu ... options for a light bite or a hearty meal. My husband and daughter tried the Shish Kabab and I went for the Chicken Kabob. Both were excellent choices - tender, moist, nicely spiced, and presented with the most colorful, tasty basmati rice and grilled vegetables. Open only three weeks, and they've already figured out fast service with fabulous food. While they were cooking the entrees (and it didn't take long at all), we were provided a small appetizer plate with hummus, dolma, and FRESHLY BAKED PITA BREAD. I can talk about the perfect level of spice on the kabob, the two sauces, and the service with a smile but I'm too busy committing the FRESHLY BAKED PITA BREAD to memory. All for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Pita Shack Grill and will definitely be back.

Amazing food and amazing service! Everything was made fresh to order, and tasted delicious. So glad this place opened near the Domain to grab dinner after a day of shopping. The appetizers were very tasty, and we enjoyed the hot and fresh pita bread. We ordered the mixed grill plate with lamb tikka and shish kabob. Both meats were juicy and flavorful. We were also given the chicken kabob free of charge and really enjoyed it. The owner was very kind and really wants to make sure you love the food you're eating. We will definitely return here frequently.

This place is currently in the soft launch phase and it's already knocking it out of the park. It's a fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter and they'll bring you your food. The food is all so flavorful and fresh. The pita bread is amazing and perfectly warm. I enjoyed trying all the different varieties of flavors. They were complex and interesting. I like all of the appetizers but my stand out was the fiery walnut dip because it was different than anything I've tried at any other Mediterranean place. It was also a little sweet with added to the complexity of the flavor. The Mix Grill plate was a recommendation and I enjoyed it too. All of the meat is cooked with charcoal and it adds to the rich flavor. I got the chicken tikka and the shish kebab. It also comes with rice, veggies and a side of hummus. My husband and I shared the meal and we didn't have leftovers but we felt satisfied. Everything was incredible. We're excited to have a new Mediterranean place near us!

The best Mediterranean in Austin by far, been all around the world and this is a exact science to how it's supposed to be done. Come see Malik and have the best experience

Chicken Kabab Plate, Chicken Tikka Plate, Fiery Walnut Dip Tray, Hummus

We had such a delicious meal at Pita Shack Grill! We tried the chicken kebab platter and the chicken tikka platter. Both were so yummy, the chicken was perfectly seasoned and so moist. The owner was incredibly kind and brought out fresh bagaganoush, dolmas, tabouleh, sesame oil, and piping hot pitas straight from the oven. Everything was bursting with flavor and you could really taste the freshness in every bite. We can't wait to come back. Everyone needs to try it, you won't be disappointed!

LaLa and wonderful service from Sara!

Order was done in about 10 minutes and pickup was easy. Service overall was great really friendly and knowledgeable for questions asked. The food was delicious. Brisket sandwich had a good mix of beef and fat, crust on the outside, BBQ sauce went well along with the onions. Bread nice and soft too. Noodle Brussels had great flavor however due to the inconsistency in size they were cooked to different softness. I preferred the smaller ones as they weren't crunchy when chewing. Personal preference. Overall great venue and the ambiance was laid back with a well kept area around the order/pickup window

We were planning to try one of each taco but they had already run out of the pulled pork. They wrapped each taco individually in aluminum foil to keep it warm which was a nice touch, though they didn't bring out the red and green sauces until we asked for them. Brisket Taco ($9): The brisket was a bit dry but the slice was pretty thick and it paired well with the acidity of the pickles. Carne G Taco ($6): Super cheesy and heavy. The flavors weren't bad but I felt pretty gross after eating one and it left me really bloated.

This spot was close to my hotel, and on my departure day, I decided to have one last hit of Q. It's a big restaurant, and it appears to also be quite the music venue. When I went, a little on the early side for a Friday dinner, there was not a wait and I was sat immediately. My server was attentive, and got me in, fed, and back out in plenty of time to catch my already delayed flight. I ordered their 3 meat combo plate, which also came with two sides, and added on a piece of cornbread. I chose brisket of course, as well as turkey and sausage. The server recommended the serrano pepper spinach (like a creamed spinach) and onion rings, and I took those recs. The best of the three meats was the turkey. Not a good sign. It was moist and tender, though not particularly smokey. Even so, I enjoyed it more than the brisket and sausage, which I would have guessed the reverse when ordering. The brisket was on the dry side and kind of bland, it did not smack of being freshly carved. The Stubbs BBQ sauce helped me eat some of it... now I see why they are famous for their sauce. I had a couple bites of the sausage and pushed it aside, I didn't enjoy their recipe on that at all. It was cooked seemingly well, but the blend of spices and meat they use wasn't pleasant to me. The sides, the onion rings were very crispy which I like, but again... something in the batter. Maybe even the oil they were cooked in, I did not enjoy as much. The spinach was actually quite enjoyable, maybe even a little rich. I think if it were warmer, if might help milden out some of that. It was really thick. The cornbread wasn't worth the add-on. No sweetness or anything to make it memorable. Vessel for butter. The portion was massive, and I had leftover food, but did not take it... and that would have been the case even if I wasn't headed to the airport. I wouldn't recommend this spot.

I came here for the beef ribs and they did not disappoint. Are they expensive? Most definitely, 2…read moreribs cost $54 (they weigh them so prices can vary). Were they 100% worth it? ABSOLUTELY. When I tell you these ribs were a religious experience I am not embellishing. Full disclosure: I do not currently live in the south so I don't consider myself a BBQ connoisseur, but I did spend 4 years in the south and have sampled many BBQ joints in the meantime. Take this review as someone who really enjoys BBQ (and any slow cooked meat for that matter) but who could not list more than 10 BBQ restaurants they have eaten at in the last 5 years. So the beef ribs. Great texture, tender meat but still had a bite to it. Expertly seasoned so they were not wet with sauce but still moist. I would consider 1 beef rib a snack, 2 a small meal. I also tried the chopped brisket (brisket and burnt ends sitting in a soup of BBQ sauce). That was also delicious (and more reasonably priced), but I could have done with slightly less sauce. It really was like a soup and while the sauce was tasty, there was too much of it. I went later in the afternoon (around 2/2:30pm) and got their last two beef ribs so going earlier is better. You order at the open kitchen and then pay at the counter when your food is ready. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, you can take your food and sit at any of their tables of which they have many (this place is pretty big). Our group had pork ribs (2) with sides of beans, potato salad, coleslaw & mac n cheese, and a pulled pork sandwich served with pickle and raw onion on the side. For fifteen people, the total cost was $425.69. This included delivery costs and taxes, but no tip. It consisted of three meats, two sides, and a dessert along with pickles, onions, bread, and BBQ sauce. There was also a set of utensils delivered, but plates were forgotten, but not a big deal. Brisket - This was definitely the best item eaten of the day. It was tender and juicy while adding the BBQ sauce giving that extra bite. The BBQ sauce was great regardless, a little bit of sweet and smoky flavor going on. Pulled Pork - This was another solid meat choice. I did not think it was as tender as the brisket, but it was still enjoyable especially with that BBQ sauce, which was key throughout the meal. Sausage - This was not bad. The snap on this threw me off a little, but it was not too bad. They were large links and had plenty of flavor. Gouda Mac & Cheese with Smoked Bacon - This was actually penne pasta with little pieces of the bacon. I actually preferred this pasta choice here. It really soaked up the cheese sauce. The sauce was not too over powerful and was just right. Beans with Smoked Bacon - These were not too bad. I thought they were a little liquidity, but the added bacon pieces definitely helped. Banana Pudding - This came in individual cups, which was nice. The pudding was thick with a little meringue or whipped cream present and a few wafer cookies on top. It was a satisfying ending to a very good meal. Will I go back? Yes.
