I am so happy we have a Halal Munchies in Valley Stream. I ordered the chicken over rice platter, which comes with salad and fries. I substituted the fries for more salad (trying to be healthy). A platter with cost you $12 if you pay with card. Which is a fair price. It is a good amount of food as well. No complaints about the portion of rice to meat. They do not skimp on the amount of meat. Overall, the platter was delicious and it had the signature halal cart food taste. My craving was definitely satifised. read more

Had a terrible experience at this establishment. I was working on a food delivery app and the stumby person that prepared the food, caught an attitude because I did not comply with his request of me to hand him a soda for the order I was picking up. Initially I attempted to open the refridgerator but then changed my mind. I informed him I did not have any thing to place on my hand to open the refridgerator since I used my only piece of paper to re-enter the joint. The immature man then told me to cancel the order. Man was too lazy to come from behind the counter and get the soda for his customer hisself. Very nasty young man, then when the delivery cust rep called him he hung up on her. The restaurant got our order delivery wrong. While this happens it is the way that they had no interest in correcting it. We ordered delivery and after calling the restaurant to inform them, being placed on hold for 2 minutes we were informed that they gave us the wrong product because they were out of the product we ordered. To rectify the delivery order they instructed me to come in to the store and they would solve the problem. The also had a rude disinterested tone when speaking with us. Mistakes happen. It is how you deal with the problem that is most important. I do not think they understand that. read more
