My first time here and it was amazingly delicious. Kudos to the staff working there because he was multitasking. Space was pretty big and the environment was pretty chill. It was a bit chilly since the door was wide open but overall we took the leftovers home and it was still delish. Cant wait to go back

Love Korean fried chicken and glad for this location so we don't have to travel back to queens for it. Sadly the spicy wings are not as spicy as the queens locations. The rice bowls haven't been good. We tried the bulgogi one recently and it wasn't eh, bell peppery. The younger waitresses have been confused whenever we go with our order. but after back and forth clarifying we do get the correct order. The music is loud. We lucked out that we can pick our seat and got to not sit under a speaker.

Mad for chicken is my favorite Korean fried chicken franchise. The northern blvd location in queens is my absolute favorite. This place is much closer to home now, but the flavor is different and a little lacking in the fried chicken. The food does come out much faster (which is both a pro and con I suppose). Kimchi fries has way too much onions and no sauce other than the dipping sauces. Kimchi fried rice was okay but again the flavor is different. I think if they worked on the flavoring a little more, the food was better much better! As of right now, it is just okay. Music can be quite loud. Store has ample seating and bar seats as well.

I have been to the mad for chicken locations in Flushing and Bayside,NY. We were driving on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Center and we noticed a Mad for Chicken. So I said let's go in. The space was big and spacious. A full bar was located near the entrance. I always ordered the same three items, sweet potato fries, mild dumplings and soy garlic wings. The sweet potato fries were great. The mild pan fried dumplings filled with beef and pork were great. The wings were average. I didn't taste any soy garlic flavor at all. It tasted a little sweet. The coating was very light. A little disappointed. The service was excellent. A good selection of beers on tap. I see they do a lot of take out business. I will give them another try.

Decided to come here after a workout and since I am a big fan of mad for chicken, I wanted to give this location at Rockville center a try. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the moment so I expected the service to be a bit quicker but we ended up waiting a while for our bottle of soju and our chicken wings. The wings were good but not that great, I felt like they had more breading than actual chicken which was disappointing. The truffle fries were very good which was a plus. Will be sticking to the mad for chicken in bayside going forward.

The music is banging once you walk in the door. Crazy happy hour from 12-6pm Monday to Friday. And they have pitchers. What more could you want?

Nice, upbeat mad for chicken in RVC. Antara wonderful personality and waitress!

Signature Wings (Medium, 20 pieces, half & half)

Great & friendly service, but overall food quality lacks a bit when compared to their Flushing location (my usual go to). As a franchise, the flavors are pretty consistent across different locations, but there are definitely some differences. I'm just happy they have a spot in RVC, to be quite honest! Between my boyfriend and I, we ordered the 20 piece wings (half & half), kimchi fried rice (not on the menu, but ask for it!) and the parm truffle fries. Way too much food for 2 people, but truly the test for any MFC location! The wings were good flavorwise, but just lukewarm, which made it a bit subpar when compared to the piping hot wings from other locations. Kimchi fried rice was good - I enjoyed this! The parm truffle fries were standard. I really appreciate how this location has pitchers of fresh fruit juices mixed with sojus - the watermelon was super yummy. Service was great - our waiter was attentive, enthusiastic, & kind!

Bartender was awesome - came in with my husband around 1pm on a Friday and sat at the bar. Ordered wings and nachos. Everything was peace. Cool vibe. Will be back

However Won Kbbq totally exceeded my expectations! WOW! Everything was fantastic- meats, banchans, appetizers, salads, and service!! Really, really solid and awesome. Bulbogi was tender and had the right amount to sweetness. Pork steak was also tender and perfectly seasoned. Brisket was thinly sliced and flavorful. Marinated chicken was also delicious. The servers were so friendly and attentive. They changed out the grill pan after each round of meats. We had a great lunch and will definitely be going back. My non Korean friend said this is her new favorite restaurant. A large parking lot is another huge bonus!

The waitstaff were attentive and helpful. Only complaint about the setting is that every time someone went in or out, a rush of cold air would enter. Try not to sit too close to the door. As far as the food, daughter and I just ordered soon dubu (soft tofu stew) and ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes). We're Korean so flavor profile wise, it seemed to cater to non Korean palates. The soon dubu was not spicy and had too much of a sesame oil flavor and the ddukbokki was sweet with no spiciness at all. I think if you are non Korean, the seasoning was good and the food flavorful, just not the flavors we were expecting. Also, although the menu makes it seem like you have to pay for the banchan (appetizers), we did not, it came with the staple kimchee, and a couple other dishes. Not sure why they had prices on the menu unless they charge for refills? They also gave us this yummy ice cream bite for dessert which is usually unheard of in Korean restaurants. Having said all this, I do want to recommend this place, it was a nice local restaurant to get some Asian dishes with a great waitstaff.

I will preface this by saying I consider K-city a 5/5 for Long Island - probably a 4/5 if K-city was in Queens tbh. If i was in the Nassau area I default to K-city vs. Kpot! I mainly go to K-city for the hotpot vs. the kbbq/hot food selection. The bbq is okay but the grill itself is pretty small. The prepared food selection is also okay, includes both hot food & sushi but I mainly consider it as food to eat while my hotpot is getting ready (lol). The broths are very legit with the variety offered being spicy (mala with the Szechuan peppercorns), mushroom, pork bone, herbal ( I believe is a mix of pork & chicken + herbs), tomato and mushroom. My favorite thus far have been the spicy & herbal! I appreciate that the meats are also included in the buffet section as well so I can control the quantity as opposed to some other hotpot/bbq places where the meats come pre-portioned. I think the main drawback of K-City as opposed to Spring Shabu (my personal 2nd favorite choice in nassau) is definitely the veggie selection & quality. Having said that, the veggie selection is okay and has the main things I get like the enoki mushrooms, napa cabbage, broccoli and noodles.
