This is the best chicken I have ever had in my life.
    Candelario M.

The fried chicken was the best I've ever had including wife and mother in law, the owner is a kind and respectful person with a passion for cooking and his wait staff were on point. The feel of this place was calming. Don't hesitate and go get this chicken!!! Either the wings or the burger!!!! Straight fire!!!!!

A chicken sandwich which comes with a strip on the side piled high with all the sandwich toppings I love!!!

I ordered the mixed chicken and lamb over rice with a side of French fries, loaded with both white sauce and barbecue sauce. The platter was massive and beautifully layered. The chicken was tender, juicy, and packed with warm spices, while the lamb was perfectly seasoned, thinly sliced, and had that rich, savory flavor that pairs so well with the fluffy, flavorful rice. The French fries were crispy and mixed right in, adding great texture. I loved the contrast between the cool, creamy garlic white sauce and the smoky, tangy barbecue sauce. They complemented the meat perfectly and I ended up drizzling extra on every bite. The portion was so generous I could barely finish it, but it made for an amazing lunch the next day too. I also got the lamb gyro with white sauce on the side. The pita was soft and warm, stuffed generously with thinly sliced, marinated lamb that was crispy on the edges and super flavorful. Fresh tomatoes, onions, and lettuce added a nice crunch, and that signature creamy white sauce tied everything together beautifully. Every bite was juicy, savory, and downright addictive. Everything tasted fresh, made to order, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. This is my new go-to spot for halal food on Long Island. If you're craving Mediterranean/halal eats done right, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won't be disappointed!

This time I get just the lamb because it was so good last time when my son had it. It's a chunky cube instead of small tiny pieces. Allow you to enjoy the tenderness and the flavor. Portions are generous as well. Definitely the best halal I had in Long island so far (and I had tried other very popular and high rating halal place)

I've been to Baci next door several times and never realized this restaurant was where it was! There is a free smallish parking lot in front as the lot is shared with the other stores in the strip mall that it's located in. I arrived around 12:45pm and was lucky enough to find ONE spot remaining. When I left around 2:45pm, there were a lot more available spots. Upon entering, I just sat where my friend was sitting. It looks like you can pick anywhere to sit and eventually someone will come over to take your order. All the wait staff were very nice and patient with us, as I was indecisive with what I wanted to order; everything looked so good! To order, there was a QR code on the table that you can scan and then browse the menu on your phone. A bit random but I really appreciated the bag hooks that were on the side of the table! I ended up ordering a Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla and my friend ordered a Regular Margarita and a Carne Asada Burrito. We were both very happy with our choices! Flavorful and fresh, my quesadilla was the perfect size and my friends burrito was pretty filling that she had to pack the rest to go. There is also a clean and spacious bathroom in the back if needed. Credit cards are accepted and they can split the bill if needed. We will be returning!

The restaurant is medium sized, lots of booths, and was decorated for Valentine's Day. They take reservations and were pretty busy. Service was good, although a little slow at the beginning. I tried the following dishes: Cauliflower Manchurian (3/5): This dish was pretty good, but not amazing. I did enjoy it. Garlic Chili Noodles (3.5/5): Pretty good noodles, not very spicy but good flavor and consistency. Hakka Chili Chicken (4/5): I liked this chicken, but my dining partner did not. The chicken was boneless dark meat, which I really like. You can get it with no, light, or full gravy. We did full and had it with rice. I did enjoy this dish. Overall, I had a pretty good experience at HAKA. No dishes were real standouts, but they were all decent. It is not a bad option for Indo-Chinese in the area.

The menu has both indian and chinese dishes. It's not fusion just two different cuisines being sold. We ordered a roll that came with shrimp tempura, mango and salmon. It was very good, a warm grill that felt like a sandwich. The side galore noodles we ordered were dry and not very flavourful. We ordered shrimp with then and they came with fried/tempura shrimp, which we found odd. There was also egg on the dish but it did nothing for the noodles. We ordered the noodles regular so they should have had some sauce but there was none. The chicken dishes were both really good. The chicken wasn't overly fried or breaded. It tasted fresh and had a good bite to it. I like the spicy garlic chicken a bit more because of the spice. The haka chicken was more of a sweet and salty flavor. Both were tasty. If I'm in the area I'll come back here.

When we sat down it was kind of annoying because the sun was in our eyes from the window. They offered to move our seats, but the other table also was in the sunlight. We ordered a chicken kebab as an appetizer and got the mix grilled plate as an entree and goat Karahi. The mix grill plate was huge and came with like 5 different types of meat dishes cooked various ways of chicken and lamb. My favorite thing from the grill platter was the green chicken and the red chicken. It comes with tomatoes, and red onions as well. The goat karahi was good too the sauce was very flavorful and went well with the garlic nann. We also got a mango lassi, we found out half way through our meal that they forgot it and when we got our bill they charged us for 2 so they gave us a cash refund. Overall it was a nice place lots of families were there with their kids.

I only get white sauce because I don't like my food even medium spicy. I do like mild spice, mind you. But the chicken from this truck is just too darned spicy to begin with. I mean, hey guys, you know that people who like your stuff hot and spicy get the red sauce and that blows their taste buds away already. There's no need to burn our tongues with just the grilled chicken itself.

We both got lamb/chicken combo over rice. I expressed that I wanted to try the falafel and our one-man staff kindly threw two on top, no charge. A little bit of salad was included. We got to sample the sauces before deciding what to put on top. My recommendation is plenty of the wonderful white sauce with just a trickle of the hot sauce. (At first it doesn't taste very hot but it sneaks up on you wow!) It was nice to see the plates assembled right before our eyes. Food was served piping hot in a heavy foil dish with plastic lid. Each meal was enough for two meals. Meat was nice and soft, small pieces. The rice was awesome. Total for the two: $13. This one is now in the take home rotation. I recommend you try it soon.
