There was brown liquid spilled on the cabinets and floors, paint spilled on the floors, stairs & countertops, outlet covers missing (still not found), painter's tape still stuck to the walls & baseboards, and sunflower seeds littered across EVERY single floor in the house (including the in the carpet and the bathtub). I am shocked at the way the house was left and how sloppy this was. This was not the condition that it was supposed to be left in. I had a showing the next morning so had to spend over 3 hours cleaning it. I contacted the manager about it and received a $275 discount. They did offer to come back over and "take care of these items" but I had no time to let them come back so I had to take care of it myself. For how much I paid to for this to be done I expected way more from this company. I will not be using this company again.

Josh who provided the initial estimate made good recommendation regarding paint sheen for the different surface types, and asked several questions about things I had not even thought of such as front and back colors for doors.. While we were only using three colors, due to the different sheens for concrete walls, wallboard, and door trim, we ended up with 7 different paints. Scheduling was easy and they helped accommodate our availability. When the painters came in to do the work they were friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to understand which paints were to be used where. They did an excellent job; multiple coats of paint for rooms that went from dark gray to a neutral taupe and caulked the floorboards where necessary and filled in scrapes and picture holes where we needed it. I would highly recommend Singletrack team. Professional, articulate, and very knowledgeable on what was needed for the job. and the total price was very competitive with the other 5 bids I got.

I would highly recommend skipping Paint Denver for any painting project. They started off fine. Met…read morethe sales rep the first time, they worked a bid and I noticed some things were missing so I called them back a second time to walk the job to ensure thorough communication. The second bid still had some details missing so I called the rep back to clarify some points. That was my first mistake, to think they would keep their word outside of what was written in their "contract " (in quotes because as a legal document, it is horribly written. First day of work comes around and they are obviously rushing the job. I let it slide because overall the crew seems competent, minus maybe the lead who answers every question with "that is not in the contract" for everything, including things obviously in the contract. The first error is painting a room the wrong color, "it's not in the contract!" Gabino says. Turns out it is. Day two and they are "done". I look around and they filled no holes and did zero sanding "It's not in the contract!" Gabino says. Turns out it is.. He calls a manager, gets told to do it and he himself comes back to fix it and give a second coat of paint on a room they completely missed. This second coat ends up looking worse than the first coat somehow as he tries to freehand the transition lines and messes it up badly, and still manages to completely miss one wall of the room they previously already missed. Obviously Gabino has better things to do than your job. Called manager and they come out to acknowledge this is their responsibility and then radio silence for a week. Finally the owner/"Chief Promise Keeper" calls me back condescending and not taking any responsibility for the botched job. I haven't mentioned yet how they did not use the paint grade that was agreed upon verbally multiple times. His resolution is "that sucks, these things happen". When somebody tells you who they are, believe them the first time. If you have to tell people you are a promise keeper, it's more than likely because you in fact are not. Steer clear and look elsewhere. Plenty of other quality painters out there to choose from. The owner also tried to bribe me not to write a review in exchange for them fixing their mistakes. Avoid avoid avoid.

I wanted to give a special shoutout to Isaiah (paint POC) and Wancy (crew foreman) for all they did to help the process go smoothly. Isaiah walked me through how the whole painting process was going to work, and he does a QA check at the end to touch up areas that I didn't even spot (or would probably not care that much about). He helped me understand the differences between paint products and warranties, and he just really wants the customer to be happy with the job. Wancy's crew worked really hard, even with some weather challenges--and showed up promptly at 7:00 AM every day for work a 10-12 hour day. The guys work really hard, and yes, you should absolutely feed your paint crew while they're working on your house. As for Vivax, it's not the cheapest. It might even be the most expensive, but there's a reason why you see so many Vivax signs in your neighborhood because they work they do is really good. At times, I didn't love the process--there are a lot of handoffs from sales to project manager to wood guy to paint crew, etc. This creates multiple opportunities for upsells and price adjustments, which can be unexpected, so I'd build in a little buffer from your original estimate because your salesperson is not the subject matter expert on any of the trades. The salesperson might say the crew can do something (like move a shed), but in reality, you need to do it yourself, but your salesperson is long gone by that point in the process. As a result, there are times where you might not know who your point of contact is, but that's where Isaiah really stepped up and played that role. Like we had an issue after the wood work was done, and Isaiah made sure we were taken care of. They do communicate with you, and things run VERY on time, but you will talk to about 4 more people than you might've expected. For some people, that might be good, but it would be a little simpler with a central point of contact. Regardless, when we're talking paint, the most important thing is the end result. Our house looks great. Isaiah, Wancy, and the crew worked really hard, and this is something that we will probably not have to do again for at least a decade. If you want the job done right and your house to look great, you can't go wrong with Vivax. Because painting your house is a huge investment, it might hurt your wallet a little more, but they'll make sure the job is done right.

He made several trips to Bailey and even brought four Sherwin-Williams samples matched to the colors we were considering so that we could evaluate them together in the house. The quotation was competitive and transparent, and there were no surprise charges. Pablo and the crew did exceptional work. We used three colors, including intentional color transitions across the main level, and the lines and edges came out beautifully. The finish is extremely consistent. The patching may have impressed me most: we had removed numerous wall-mounted items and left behind holes, anchors, and other damage, and in many places you simply cannot tell that anything was ever there. They also covered some very saturated old wall colors beautifully in only two coats. They were extremely careful with the house, masked and protected everything thoroughly, moved things as needed, and even removed and reinstalled our wall-mounted TV. They also worked around a dishwasher technician and other things happening at the house and still finished the project in about three and a half working days. Pablo and Ryan were both meticulous during the final walkthroughs and took care of even very small touch-ups without nickel-and-diming us.
