Halcyon Tech was the first company to contact me on my latest quest (I've been researching for 4 months) for a security camera installation.  Erika (who answered the phone) was very knowledgeable about what I wanted and arranged an appointment at my convenience.  Tom came to survey the areas I wanted for camera installation.  He answered all my questions in a professional and experienced manner.  He described what options I had in terms of wiring and recommended the best area(s) to place the security monitor.   Tom was also the first person who provided a quick written estimate that included the brand name of the merchandise he was planning to use. Erika called later to inquire if I had any more questions about the installation. The price quoted was affordable and within the range I had been quoted by other companies. Based on the quality of customer service I had received thus far, I hired them to complete the job. Billy and Gabriel exceeded my expectations on the day of service. Billy worked tirelessly all day to install the required wiring and cameras.  It was very important to me that the wires would not be all over the place as I had seen on many security cameras' websites. Billy DID NOT disappoint.  He surveyed the areas where the cameras were to be placed, and contemplated the best way to install them with a minimal use of wires and be inconspicuous.  Avner connected the monitor to the DVR and explained its use in layman's terms. Billy was very accommodating and would not leave until we were 100 % satisfied with the installation.  Moreover, the cameras that were installed provided a clear crisp picture. I find the Halcyon Tech was very efficient and thorough from the initial contact to the completion of the job. A year's warranty on labor and parts, free training and support is included in the price. The installation includes a connection to Internet they may be remotely viewed from any PC and any smartphone. I would strongly recommend you hire them. For months we researched upgrading our existing DVR+8 camera system with a system that was more user friendly with current phone apps. Since the most difficult part of any video security system is the hard wire runs between the individual cameras and the DVR, we wanted to avoid the hassle and cost of running wires again. There were numerous options. Tom H. spent a significant amount of his time explaining all of them--the pros and cons of each in such a manner that we could understand. We are pleased with the recommended option we chose. We've had multiple interactions with Tom since that initial meeting in DEC 2017. At the installation and several follow up calls afterwards. He was always available and promptly responded to our calls and solved our concerns. He's not like so many other contractors that place little priority on the customer after the initial work is completed and they have your money! Most recently we upgraded our Cox internet service with a new modem which required resetting the DVR IP address. Tom worked us into his schedule so we could restore our internet remote access to the DVR without excessive down time. Tom H. is extremely knowledgeable, sincere in his desire to provide solid, honest recommendations and high quality work, professional and respectful in dealing with his customers (prompt, courteous, clean, efficient, available, honest), and easy to work with. I was helping my brother plan his outdoor wedding on a huge property out in Ramona. We needed security capabilities despite the lack of outdoor power lines. After researching local light tower rentals, I came across Halcyon and immediately called them. I spoke with someone named Tewa and she was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. She let me know about their fully solar powered light towers and even let me know that they had mobile CCTV trailers also solar powered that could help us save money on hiring a large number of security guards to protect the perimeters of the private property. She set me up an appointment to do a walk through at their warehouse to check out their trailers and they were IMPRESSIVE!! I was able to rent 2 solar light towers and one mobile security camera trailer for a very reasonable price, especially considering the money I will save on gas that normal trailers run off, as well as the savings on hiring less security whom I have to pay hourly. They rent daily, weekly, and monthly which is great to know for future events. The first day of my rental period I received my trailers exactly at the requested time. They also helped me to decide the best place for me to deploy the trailers to ensure maximum efficiency and security. When I called tech support to setup the remote camera access to my phone, they got right back to me and guided me to view the cameras in just few minutes. I will be doing business with them again. The business I work for in La Jolla had me find someone to add some cameras and an alarm system in light of the recent protests and COVID. Excellent! I love the mobile solar powered light tower with the integrated outlets. Upon picking up the light tower, we were given a very efficient overview of how to use it to our needs, and they even hooked the trailer up to our SUV. We were assured that all trailers were DOT and DMV certified. Friends and I rented the trailer for a camping trip and it provided us with seamless power and lighting for the whole week long trip! It was super easy to use and made our trip amazing! We were able to have power and light no matter how deep in the wilderness and desert we were with no maintenance or gas refilling, the system was quiet and compact. It was finally time for a new HD security cameras system in our office. I contacted Tom from Halcyon CCTV Experts and he came by our office, looked at what we had and made some suggestions how we could improve our security and save a few bucks also. About a week later, the installation crew came by, install new cables, changed all the cameras and the DVR recorder, then hooked everything up to the internet. After having my apartment robbed recently, decided to get a security system installed on the premises. Tom was great! I reached Tom and he provided me with a consultant regarding installation on Cctv system I got from Costco. We setup a quick site survey at my business warehouse which he explained to me in details everything I need to know about surveillance systems and security cameras. I end up returning the system to Costco and get from halcyon commercial grade system that custom made for my needs. I paid the same and received better quality with 3x more warranty (3 years)! Tom and crew installed a camera system in my home about a year ago; I was super impressed with the service, quick installation and quality of the recordings. Recently I believe my modem and router went haywire, or something else caused the DVR to lose the settings to view remotely. We organize soccer tournament once a month. Before we discovered Halcyon LED light towers we where renting a diesel light tower. The Diesel tower was more expensive, had to be refilled and the light where yellowish and doll. Not to mentioning the Honorable noise and smoke they make!
