After three weeks of these excuses, I would have respected honesty about scheduling delays instead of being misled. When my fiancé called Joe twice, both calls went straight to voicemail. Interestingly, when I called immediately after, it rang normally. This suggests he may have blocked my fiancé's number to avoid confrontation. Since Joe wouldn't answer calls, my fiancé visited the shop in person. Joe wasn't there, but the store manager was visibly frustrated. He revealed that Joe had told him my fiancé was "understanding" and wouldn't come in angry. The manager admitted this situation happens frequently, and he's always left to handle upset customers after Joe makes promises he doesn't keep. Here's the reality: After 3.5 weeks, only a diagnostic test has been completed. No parts were ever ordered, and no realistic completion date was provided. The truck has been sitting in the same parking spot for over a week. As someone whose father owns a business, I understand that mistakes happen, and as a business you fix them. However, this wasn't about mistakes--it was about deliberate dishonesty and unprofessional conduct. No business should lie to customers or pretend work is being done when it isn't. This experience has been a complete waste of time and shows a disturbing pattern of how this business operates.
