When we tried to make the reservation online, it would accept the code, but the cost still said $35. I called the studio and (I believe) spoke to Jen. She apologized for the convenience and said she would look into the issue and call me back. Within a hour or two, she called me back and said I can proceed with booking online. No issues with booking online after the problem was fixed. An important thing to know is that the studio ONLY allows wine and beer - no hard liquor. The location is in a very cute studio in downtown Lemont with plenty of parking within walking distance. Our group arrived a little after 6:30 PM. We were greeted and seated quickly. We were able to set up our food and drinks at the table behind us since there weren't that many people at this particular event. Right at 7:00, Jen officially began the class. She explained all the items that we should have in front of us (canvas, paint, 3 brushes, chalk, etc) and made sure everyone had all their items before we continued. Jen was INCREDIBLY patient and explained the process with great detail since most of us have never done this before. She was very friendly and answered any of our questions and gave us advice and assistance when asked. She is a GREAT instructor and was very easy going and comfortable to be around. I am in NO way an artist, but I was pleasantly surprised and happy how my painting turned out. I know I will be going back to this place in the near future and dragging my fiancé along. :)

I needed some very simple mating for two prints (really nothing fancy, just basic) and had them made. Much to my dismay, upon getting them home, one fit and the other didn't. I returned to the store to have the issue fixed. The guy was nice about it and even agreed to mount and insert into the (very cheap) frames I already had given the mistake. But then things took a turn for the worse... A week went by and I heard nothing. Returning to the store, I happened to be in the area, I chatted with the framing department and, ultimately, the manager (?) - escalation on their side, not mine - and he was not very pleasant. In fact, he was down right combative and in-my-face about the fact that the work was not done and that I should simply wait for a call. Long story short, I did get a call and ultimately picked up my pieces - they look great by the way! So I'll chalk this one up to a stressful time of year and (other... :) ) frustrating customers.

I was talking to a staff member when this woman came up to me and spoke harshly to me. She put me out of the store and I did nothing but spoke to a staff member. When asked why she was talking rudely to be she asked me to leave the store. I did nothing wrong but was treated like a criminal. I left feeling embarrassed and disappointed by the service. As long as she is there working, I will never walk in that store again. I called customer service at GAP and nothing has been done. GAP should be ashamed of how they treated customers. I felt this manager was being biased and profiled me because of my skin color. She did not know me and I didn't know her but she asked me to leave. Gap is known for racial discrimination.
