I wanted to leave a review because our experience at this location was very different from what was already posted. We were greeted immediately even though they were short staffed. Nick the sales guy was very nice, knowledgeable and spent time with us offering his opinions and expertise. Scott, the manager, was invested in working with us on price. We changed our minds about what we wanted after we left. I emailed Scott and he was incredibly diligent and responsive in helping us locate the items. The team lost a sale on a used Cbr1000rr by misrepresenting service. Undercut trade in value, obfuscating out the door prices, and requiring a 3 day hold on a loan preapproved by the lender even though it was discussed prior to the appointment and agreed that it would be a one day exchange. I came to this store with a friend that was buying a four wheeler for a Christmas gift and decided to get one for my son. My son is 5'9 200+ lbs. A big boy. The machine I was Shown by the sales person was A youth machine. I didn't know. He did NOT tell me there was a difference. I told him how big my son was and he was like "oh yeah, this is perfect!" And when asked if it would ride double, he again said, "Oh yeah, not a problem !" When I found out it was too small they refused to let me return it Even before it was driven off the lot. I ended up taking a couple thousand dollar loss and was devastated emotionally and financially. I just bought a new bike from this business. They were great throughout the entire process. The sales person Keith Brooks was knowledgeable on all bikes and was very patient with me. I had it narrowed down to 4 bikes and he listed all pros and cons of each. I trust him 100%. The others I dealt with (Scott, Bobby, 'Parts guy' don't remember his name, sorry) were very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. On 6/6/20 I bought a high end side by side from Hall's in Pelham. There was a recall on the model I bought and that slowed down and complicated the deal for a few days, but in the end they came through. My salesman was Matt and he went out of the way to keep me informed as they worked through getting the recall done. I had negotiated the deal on the phone and we had agreed on a price out the door. I was anxious to see if that changed when I got there to pick it up. I was surprised that when all was said and done, it was actually about $50 less than we had agreed. I would highly recommend Matt if you are looking for any type of power sports machine. read more

I bought my honda foreman from here in 2019 brand new. Brought it in for its first service and it was stolen while in their possession on their lo, I had only made my first payment on the bike. Hall's refused to do anything to make it right. The Atv is now paid for but without any kind of assistance or replacement from Hall's. I found a used Seadoo listed on their website that I was interested in and I was also interested in a new Kawasaki ski they had. When I arrived neither were available and I was asked to put a $250 deposit down just to see the Kawasaki! The salesman proceeded to let me know the deposit is typically non refundable but they would work with me... I informed him that their competition has some I could look at and put my hands on, I was then told to go look at it there then come back and let them know. No thank you!! What a joke. Absolutely the worst! I was on the road and needed some help and their service dept was nasty, ignorant and unhelpful. Eventually got great service from a dealership in Gadsden. Stay away. Here what was written up in the Goldwing newsletter in Colorado: "On Monday, I contacted Hall's Motorsports in Pelham, AL. At first, their service person was away and would call me back in 5 minutes. After 20 minutes I called them back and talked with a service person who seemed perturbed that I had bothered to recall him. At first, when I told him I needed a rear tire for an 1800 Goldwing, he seemed confused and asked me who made "that bike." When I told him it was a Honda, he again seemed confused and asked the dimension of the tire I needed. Thom quickly looked it up and I gave him the information. He then indicated he'd look to see if they had one in stock. After 5 minutes on hold, the phone went dead. I called back and finally got through to him again. Yes, they had one in stock. When I asked whether it was a Bridgestone or a Dunlop, I was told "I don't know." So next I asked if he could get to it today and was told "I'm not sure." So, I indicated that it made no sense for me to drive 30 miles on a tenuous rear tire to their shop unless I knew whether they could get to it that day. He became irate and told me that "in that case all I can promise you is that I can get to it sometime this week" and then hung up on me. My husband and I went in today looking for either a 4 wheeler or a side by side. No one greeted us as we walked in. The place had several people in it, but no one seemed to be helping customers. One man was even standing talking to another worker. We were in there for 20-30 min and still no one acknowledged that we were in the store. We ended up walking out. On the way out my husband said something to one of the workers about how long we had been there without being acknowledged and he didn't even respond. This is the second time we have been in there and left without being spoken to, there will not be a third. read more

I really didn't want to believe the 1 star rating, but I have to leave one as well. I visited the store 3 times, and each time I never felt like I received a friendly and personable interaction. Regardless, I let that go since I had already done a mountain of research on the products I was considering. I was quite literally just minutes away from purchasing a brand new Honda Rubicon, one feature short from a top of the line model. I was informed that my credit card purchase would be hit with a 3% surcharge because "well we get charged the fee, so we are just passing along the cost". I'm sorry, but that's BS. Every credit card transaction on planet earth has a fee associated with it, and not once has anyone attempted to pass it off to me. I will go out of state and purchase elsewhere, and forego supporting this local business. Additionally, I've been looking for a place to service my Yamaha motorcycle. Thanks for giving me a good reason to take this business off the list of options. FYI - I've spent 24 years in a sales driven, customer service organization. Very unprofessional over the phone and in person. Does not have knowledge of motorcycles. The guys that work at the Pelham location has poor customer service skills. The office manager Trey will not answer phone calls or returns them. I should've read the reviews before I purchased from them. I believe courtesy goes along way when i am spending my hard earned money on something. Its very disrespectful the service that It received after spending thousands of dollars on a motorcycle. My first instinct was to buy a motorcycle in Georgia but decided to buy in Alabama. I chose Hall's because they had the motorcycle that i was looking for. Took my Ranger in in January 25 as it was not wanting to start. Not under warranty. Have purchased a Honda Waverunner here in the past and had lots of service with Pelham Powersports (old Name before sellout). They were all standing around in service and said they were getting milkshakes (as one of them came through the door with 4 milkshakes in a carrier) because they had little work. Told them it clearly was not getting gas, likely fuel pump. Slow with work and I told them what it was, should be a few days. A few weeks later Feb 15 NOTHING. Called, they could tell me nothing. They called back later and said it was the fuel pump and had been ordered and job would be 3 hundred and a few dollars, told the guy OK to fix it. Called 4/10 as no one had called and asked for GM Paul Gray, was told he was with a customer and would call as soon as done. Never called. Paul Service guy called and said they had the part and would get right away; called later and said it was ready. Picked up today. They said bill was $501.25. Paul at first feigned a phone call but finally talked to me when I said I would wait till he was done. He agreed they did wrong on all and simply said they told me wrong, Bill was the Bill. I paid, they said they had loaded for me. Thank You. Went to unload.. Battery which is always kept on trickle anytime not in use and 1 year old.. DEAD as it could be. Apparently they left on after they finally worked on it and did not bother to tell me they let the battery die and did NOT charge it even enough to start. At this writing I do not know if it will start as it is on the charger and had to go back to work. GO MOST ANYWHERE ELSE! read more

Took my bike in to replace a busted blinker and to get the bike running from some bad gas. It only took them literally 6 months to repair. So if you got 6 months to wait for some simple repairs this is your shop. Hate to see how long it would it take for something complicated. I had my side by side serviced 420 hours and all they did wish change the oil for $260 and left oil spilled all over the engine did not clean the mud off the engine where they all cap is so that mud probably got into the engine only brand new machine they did not check the air filter they did not check none of that differential fluids all they did was change the oil that's all they done did not check nothing read more

Horrible Owner and business, I purchase a new Goldwing, 30K, and ordered a set of fog lamps, around $400.00, and paid for them. After waiting over a month for them I bought a set from a reputable Honda dealer and ask Hall's for a store credit or a refund but was refused. Called the owner and he refused so I filed complaints with Honda Motor Co. and the BBB but never got my money or the parts. Purchased a 2016 YZ125. Great bike. The issue was during delivery they failed to give me the owners manual and tool kit. I contacted my sales rep and let her know the issue. After she contacted the GM Paul they could not find any spare owners manual or tool kit and was told I had to purchase a set which turns out is approx $100. FAIL!! on customer service. I will be purchasing another bike in a few months it wont be from Halls Motorsports where customer service is non-existent. I am sure I already paid for them when I bought the bike. Contact Suzuki-Yamaha of Dalton they gave me the best price but i paid $100 more to stay local. will drive the hour next time. read more

Went in to purchase some oils and misc. items in order to perform routine maintenance on my motorcycle. Was charge more than 30% more than the listed sticker price on the item. When I questioned the salesman about the difference in price, he simply said the higher price was the correct price. He offered no explanation, apology or solution to me being charged so much more. Instead, he just stared at me and turned around and went in the back and started playing with his cell phone. I have shopped at this store many times over the years but will not set foot back in this place. I will take all my business down the street to Max Motorsports or shop online. Do not purchase from Hall's. Two weeks ago we purchased a 90 Polaris. After getting it home, we noticed a split in the plastic on the gas tank under a large decal. Husband called the next day and spoke to the GM. The GM told him we did a walk around and should have seen it then. The GM said he would order the part and only charge us 50 percent. Other than that he was doing nothing. I called Polaris. Polaris said the dealer is to have you take the product back in for them to file a claim on the defect. I hate to give this place a single star. I dropped off my Polaris ranger off to get A arms and a 3" lift kit installed. Simple enough right. Well no. In a 2 week span I talked to them about 5 times. Yeah man you're next on the lift. Got a call at work one day. Hey man this lift kit isn't working. Your axles are sticking out about 50%. I did my research prior. I know this set up will work with stock axles. I called super atv and Jessie at southern Offroad. They all agree this will work with stock axles. I called Halls Motorsport back. I told em to don't mess with the lift kit. I'll get someone else to do it. So I pick up my machine day. The top shock mount is dirty. Never touched. This is where the lift kit bracket attaches. I had the guy come look at it. I asked the guy how do you know it doesn't work. You didn't even touch to top shock mount where it goes. I kid you not. He looked at me and said. Oh, it goes on the top bracket? He asked me if I wanted to leave it so he could put the lift kit on. I said you gotta be kidding me. Also I found out that the alignment and the camber is off on all 4 tires. So guys do not take your machines to these guys. They will not listen to anything you say. They used to give good service. Worst customer service I have experienced when purchasing a big ticket item. The salesperson wasn't very knowledgeable about the machine and didn't care if he did know, salesperson acted really distracted and like my time wasn't worth his. I bought the Honda pioneer anyway as this was a Christmas gift. The extra part I bought was ordered incorrectly and when it came in the wrong part had my name on it and I brought the Honda pioneer in to have it installed. Nobody came to meet me and it sat there for a day. When I called to ask when it would be done, they said they couldn't do it without me bringing in paperwork. I asked why they didn't just get it from the salesperson and the service department said they just got busy. Once I finally got the part installed, it was missing pieces and I asked if they were going to fix it. I was sent around looking for someone else and finally told that Honda was closed and I could check back agin later. This is just the after pickup. The day I picked up the Honda pioneer, the sales person drove it up, hopped out and said he couldn't legally put it on the trailer and walked away. The machine was dirty, tires had no air and there was no walk through of the machine with me. This is the most disappointed I have ever been with a purchase. They literally stopped with customer service as soon as the purchase was made. If you are in the Birmingham area, go to Pinnacle Motor sports. They will quote you a higher price but won't screw you with hidden fees and crappy service and customer service. read more

Do not use this dealer if you value your dollar. I was originally happy to work with them because they were able to locate a motorcycle I had been looking for, even though I was in GA. Once that happened, do did the lies and mistakes. They never filed the proper paperwork with the GA tag office, because "they forgot to", even though i sent them the address a week prior. Since I picked up the bike on a Saturday, I was told they could not get the exact tax information. I was told I would be charged tax in AL, and then it would be deducted when I registered the bike in GA. After almost two weeks the GA tag office still had not received anything from them, so I could not register the bike. After multiple calls, I was told they had sent the documents to the wrong address. Eventually, the documents came to my home and I made another trip to the registry. I was told there that the tax I already paid, did not matter and would have to pay the full tax in GA and the AL tax would not be deducted, as the Halls people promised. When I informed Halls they admitted they made mistakes, but were not going to do anything about it. I received misleading excuses as to why their mistakes cost me money each time I called. Avoid this dealer if you don't want to toss your hard earned money out the window and wait weeks to resolve issues. read more
