I'm not a shave ice expert by any means, but their flavors were definitely yummier than what I've tried in Hawaii. Super impressed by the quality, portion, and uniqueness of each one. You can tell the owner is really passionate about the details and delivering a quality product. TIRAMISU: my personal favorite! The coffee flavor was surprisingly strong and the cream added a smooth richness without being overly heavy. HALO HALO: loved all the toppings. Such a great variety of flavors and textures all in one bowl, especially the subtle toasted crispy crunchies layered in. So good! WATERMELON LIME: I was shocked at how tart the flavor hit initially and then pleasantly surprised at how it transitioned to be sweeter as we kept eating. Super refreshing for a hot day. MANGO SAGO: tastes essentially like what you'd imagine. Quite fresh and mango forward. The best and most impressive thing about all the flavors is that they're "not too sweet"! For some of them you'd think it would be too sweet or too rich, but they are all really light, so you feel less guilty about trying more than one :) read more

Was looking for something to add a little sweetness to my event and my sister came across Halohana on yelp. So glad she did! Had my event a couple days ago and it was hottttt! So the shaved ice was perrrfect! Alyssa is super friendly and walked me through how to book and made it super easy and stress free. I went with their signature tier which allowed me to choose 3 signature flavors. Watermelon lime- ohhh my guests loved this one. They make their own ice cream for this flavor and it was so refreshing, light, and the dash of tajin made it all come together. Strawberry shortcake- this one was my personal favorite, every bite just kept getting better and better anddddd that vanilla ice cream in the center yummmm along with thier dallop of cream. The freshly added graham crackers gave it that perfect crunch like you were biting into a strawberry cheesecake! Mango sago- ohhhh all my older guests loved this one. We hired a Halohana shaved ice and Halo Halo cart for our baby shower and it was one of the highlights of the event! The setup was adorable, the flavors we chose were delicious, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. I haven't really ventured out to trying shaved ice desserts before, but this pop-up event I just attended is making me want to try more! They were offering Halo Halo, Strawberry Shortcake, Mango Sago, and Mais con Yelo. I ordered the Halo Halo. For the price you pay, you get a really decent sized portion! I was able to share it with my kiddos and still be satisfied with the amount we received. The Halo Halo tasted good! I love that it wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciate! There were lots of people who attended and they were well organized, which made the line go by fairly quickly! Get them for your next party, immediately!! Alyssa from Halohana was so nice and easy to communicate with leading up to our party. We hired them for my son's 1st birthday party, and it was such a hit with all our family and friends (especially because it was a sunny, hot day). I had the absolute pleasure of booking Halohana for a church outreach event, and I cannot say enough good things about this amazing shaved ice startup business. From the very beginning, their team was friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, which is such a blessing when you're organizing an event for a mid-size / large group. On the day of our outreach, they arrived early, set up efficiently, and immediately created a welcoming and joyful atmosphere. Their kindness and positive attitude stood out, and they treated every one who came (from kids to homeless) with genuine care and respect. You could tell they truly love what they do. And the shaved ice--wow. It was hands down the best I've ever had. The ice was perfectly smooth and fluffy, and the flavors were rich, refreshing, and high-quality. Watermelon lime and Oreo. If I could give 10 stars, I would! The shaved ice was SO good and the customer service was 10/10! My favorite was the strawberry shortcake, but a close second is the mango! If you're looking to hire a shaved ice company for your next event, I'd definitely recommend them. They were even selling super cute shirts at an affordable price. WOW. The Mango Sago shave ice was sooo good. The mango chunks were so sweet and fresh, and the flavors paired so well with the sago, coconut, and condensed milk drizzle. I found out he made his own mango syrup! You can taste the real fruit flavor. It was the perfect bowl of cool dessert for a hot day. Halohana was such a big hit at our baby shower. The process was smooth, customer service was excellent, the SHAVE ICE was so good--some guests went back for seconds. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the coffee, it was genuinely one of the better iced caramel lattes I've had. If you're looking to grab a quality drink to go, I'd highly recommend it. Just be prepared for limited seating and a challenging parking situation.
