Came through with a squad of 10 on a serious mission: ceremonial-grade matcha or nothing!!! Meccha Matcha handled the chaos like pros, order in, vibes out, all drinks ready in about 12 minutes which was pretty fast for that size order. The matcha was legit!!! That deep ceremonial green that looks like it has its life together. Taste hits earthy, a little nutty, with just enough sweetness to remind you it's not chewing on grass for fun!!! No, sir!!! Best part is you get to play matcha DJ, pick your strength and sweetness level. I went bold with strong matcha and just 30% sweetness because I like my caffeine to mean it!!! If you're trying to level up your matcha game, this spot's definitely doing it right!! Check em out!!!

The service here is amazing I love the environment here it feels very welcoming :)the baristas here are always so kind. There's a few tables to sit! Def a nice place to catch up with someone or simply pick up a drink and go. Parking in this lot isn't too bad, sometimes I do have to park a little more down but it's not that big of a deal.
8/10 Soft Serve with a mix of Hojicha and matcha - Not bad but the second I got my ice cream cone it was already slightly melting which means that it came out of the machine not as ice cold firm as I'd like. I am not a huge fan of the rotating flavors. I actually came here because I saw on Yelp they had a matcha mixed with ube flavor but apparently that ended the week prior. Also the person who made mine did not do the best job and it was pretty sloppy and not very aesthetic. C'mon you can make it neater than this crooked ice cream cone. 5/10 Cost - $9.12 ok this is WAY too over priced. It should be priced at around $7.50 - $8.50 MAX. Trust me, I know the market value of this. I have tried 3 other matcha soft serve spots in the SoCal region in the past couple months.
Honestly one of the best matcha spots! This place is set up perfectly for beginner matcha enthusiasts to professional drinkers. Ranges from level 1-3. The cafe is also appealing to the eyes, so a great spot to also take your matcha photos. The only thing I'd want different is for a larger range of cup sizes . Price range is also great! Not over priced and great matcha quality.
What a delicious little place ! I was worried that they wouldn't have any caffeine free options but they have plenty. You can order at the front or the kiosk which is nice. I got the Hojicha Soft Serve and Coco Ube. It was my first time trying Hojicha and its nutty flavor is beautiful. The coconut in the Coco Ube tasted so fresh, definitely my favorite. I can't wait to come back to try more !
Cravings for matcha satisfied! I went in thinking I'd get a hojicha latte, but the matcha banana pudding latte caught my eye. I'm not too into the ones that taste artificial, but gladly this latte's cream top did not taste artificial at all! It was creamy and smooth, and Ioved the addition of the biscoff crumbles. The lavender soft serve was also great-- it tasted like the honey lavender flavor from Sorry Not Sorry Creamery. My mom said the ceremonial grade matcha level 1 latte was on the lighter side, so she might try the level 2 or 3 next time. Wait wasn't too long even though it was packed inside. We used the self service kiosk and it's easy to search through the menu. It was a plus that it also had pictures and descriptions. The wall decorations were cute and nice to know that they sell matcha and hojicha powder. May give it a try the next time I come around!
Was craving some matcha ice cream on this hot summer day. I guess a lot of other folks were thinking the same thing as it was a little crowded. I decided on the ceremonial grade matcha level 1 soft serve ice cream in a cup and added a strawberry shot topping. This was exactly what I wanted as it was very refreshing and cooled me down. I love the authentic taste of the matcha and enjoy the bitterness with the sweetness. I would've gotten the level 2 or 3 but a strawberry topping sounded good so went with level 1. The ice cream was nice and creamy and reminded me of Japan. It's not always easy to find a true taste of Japan but Meccha Matcha is right there.
I got the banana matcha with: almond milk Regular sweetness Upgrade to matcha level 2 3.5/5 for me since I feel like the matcha was still kinda watery for an upgrade. The banana flavor and biscoff top was nice. I prefer the foam to be a bit thicker though. Overall decent spot! Friendly service and good cafe to do some work if it doesn't get too crowded.

Good customer service and lots of great menu options, there is a difference between each ice cream matcha levels and I'd recommend 2 as it is less bitter and balanced. It is amazing to find a place that knows how to find a place that knows how to do matcha. After going to Japan, I've noticed only specialty matcha places really have their matcha down. I recommend this spot for all matcha critics and enthusiast!

Now I haven't been home in a year so to come back to L.A. and the first place outside of El Pollo Loco being Meccha Matcha is always a must. The matcha here is always so good , and even the soft serve is top their. I need Dallas ,Texas to get it together because their Matcha preparation is lacking. Nevertheless I always look forward to coming home and having a Level 3 matcha
Pros: -Fast service -Rotating flavors keeps things interesting -Large menu with something for everyone...the have soft serve, red bean treats, matcha, and other creative sweets. -welcoming ambiance with many tables to enjoy your treat inside -local Cambodian business integral to the Long Beach community. Cons: -Price. Admittedly, this is a rare occasion location considering the higher prices. As you increase your match level, the price goes up by $1, so keep that in mind. -Lack of ability to sample ice cream flavors before deciding what to order. Personally, I think it's a societal norm for ice cream, gelato, and soft serve places to allow their customers sample the flavors. Unfortunately, we got different flavors to try the levels of matcha but we weren't happy with Level 3 despite being avid matcha lovers. I'd recommend Level 1 or 2.
We were looking for Green Tea ice cream and stumbled on this spot that was pretty popular. We walked in and saw that most people were ordering using the tablet. They had a variety of Ube specials. But, we went with the level 1 matcha softserve mix with the flavor of the day which was Jasmine. After ordering on the tablet, our wait was less than 5 minutes. It was pretty busy and a bit small inside. So, we took our soft serve to go. Absolutely worth a visit!
Located off Artesia Bl in Artesia. The parking is shared with the other businesses in the little strip mall area. The place is not too big a few tables but not much room when it gets busy inside. You place your order from the kiosk. I got the strawberry oat matcha. It was good. The staff were pretty quick. Overall a nice spot for matcha stuff. I would get the drink again.
I'm a huge fan of the matcha ice cream here! They have three different levels. Level 1 being the lowest in caffeine and matcha flavor. I like getting their Level 3 soft serve because the matcha flavor really comes out--just the way I like it. I believe that they have seasonal flavors. Flavor of the Day can be mixed with Matcha Level 1. When I last went, the flavor of the day was ube, which paired well with Level 1. They also offer lattes, teas, matcha chia pudding, and make their matcha chocolate chip cookies and matcha almond croissants in-house. They have a few seats inside, but I usually order my soft serve to-go. I just found out that they have a location in Long Beach and Pittsburgh. I'm happy to see them expanding and spreading their matcha goodness all throughout! read more

I love coming here! It's right next to my house, so it's become one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving matcha. One of the things I appreciate most is that you can customize the matcha level. I'm pretty caffeine-sensitive, so being able to adjust it means I can still enjoy a delicious drink without overdoing the caffeine. Today I tried the Matcha Lemon Bar Latte, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. It really does capture the flavor of a lemon bar--bright, citrusy, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. The lemon flavor comes through nicely without overpowering the matcha, so both flavors complement each other really well. If you're a fan of lemon desserts or want to try something a little different, I definitely recommend ordering this while it's still on the menu. It's a 10/10 for me, and I'll definitely be ordering it again before it's gone! read more
Im glad they offer different level matcha and flavoravof the week soft serve. Creamy and level 2 Matcha hit the spot, perfect flavor reminds of Japan's true green tea. Service was quick, theyvtake the next available person if the electronic pad is busy. Simple casual ambiance with minimal decor. I noticed though how the softserves arent evenly swirled to near perfection compared to my go to Matcha place in another state. read more

I'm a new regular at this place and I feel so guilty about it. I don't identify as a matcha person, but damn lately I wish I could come here everyday. The drinks a so delicious! And do you see this matcha peach ice cream dripping in condensed milk?! It's so pervy. The people are sweet. There's WiFi and there's a perfect quiet corner I like to post up in. Love this place! Meccha matcha is the best match in the area. You can order in person or at a kiosk. The inside is a good spot to hang out with 1-2 friends. There's one table for 4-5! I have had their matcha soft serve, blended matcha, hojicha strawberry, and other drinks are so fun and they usually have new drinks to try vs everyone else with just matcha latte or strawberry latte. They also have espresso drinks, yuzu, banana topping, hojicha, and non caffeinated drinks. They used to have the best shaved ice too but I didn't see it on the menu this time. read more

The employees knew what they were talking about and explained the differences between the numbers which corresponds to the intensity of the matcha (caffeine) I ordered the highest which is 3 and it was delicious! The authentic taste of the matcha really stood out and the sweetness to it was a perfect blend! It just wasn't a sugary "green drink"! I will definitely be a regular here!! read more
The Matcha latte here is pretty good, is probably one of my favorites or top favorites in this area. The price is fair, given the current market conditions. Self ordering is really straightforward, and the service is fairly quick. I had no issues with the ordering process, and definitely enjoyed the matcha latte even more. The shop is fairly small, with a couple of tables, and the parking lot is reasonable with spacing. read more

My first time here but this is one of my niece's go to when in the area. The place itself was pretty busy but the line moves fast. I ordered the matcha vanilla oat latte. It wasn't too sweet and the matcha was not lost in the vanilla and oat milk. It was a refreshing drink that I can keep drinking all day long. The place was busy but clean. We placed our order on the kiosk and the people who gave us our our was super nice. read more
Matcha biscoff latte: 9/10 Matcha soft serve level 1: 7/10 (personal preference, did not really like the taste of the matcha and it left an aftertaste) Very pricy, $11 for level 3 matcha latte that was not strong or good. Would not recommend unless you LOVE matcha and ice cream and are willing to pay extra for this novelty food.... The only redeeming point was that the inside decor was nice and tasteful, plus the service was quick. read more
If you want a place that does matcha amazingly well, go here! Tried the matcha latte level 2 and it was spot on. You actually tasted that delicious tea flavor. There were no matcha clumps which I appreciate and a beautiful green color. The strawberry self serve ice cream was also delicious and not too sweet. This was a level 1. Bagk again! Whew, busy on a Sat afternoon with the place full, but the team got the order out quickly! My bf wanted soft serve, and I wanted a yuzu drink, so we split a yuzu float with matcha soft serve. The matcha soft serve at level 1 has a delightful typical matcha ice cream flavor. The yuzu ice-blended was a slightly tart and pulpy delight to contrast the fairly sweet soft serve. It tasted like it was made with fresh yuzu. We loved it on a warm day, and it was filling! Since it was fairly similar pricing to getting the yuzu sparkling drink and matcha soft serve separately at around $11+ it was worth it for a special splurge treat. Will be back! read more

Came here initially for the matcha but got hojicha instead, and I have no regrets at all! I love hojicha and I'm usually a little picky when it comes to the flavor, but Meecha was so good! They have a really large menu with many different options to choose from. They remind me a lot of Maiko in Rowland Heights, especially because they serve ice cream here as well. I want to try the matcha here in the future, especially because you can order from different caffeine levels! read more
Wow this is the best matcha drinks and ice cream that I've ever had! When a matcha shop has different levels of matcha, you know that they ain't playing around. My wife and I shared the Level 3 Matcha Latte, Matcha Espresso, and Matcha Panda ice cream. The matcha flavor in each is so strong and earthy that you can tell it is very high quality. Definitely preferred the level 3 latte over the espresso. I love ice cream, so when I saw Matcha with oreos in it, it was a done deal. The deep matcha flavor with the crunchy oreos was amazing! Next time I'm visiting the area, I'll have to ask for a double scoop in a cone because it's that good. Overall, very impressed with the variety in their menu and they've demonstrated how passionate they are through their perfect execution. Incredibly impressed and craving for more! read more
Dropped by here w/ the Funky Bunch for some delious ice cream after a fun walk through the pumpkin patch. The service and ambiance were nice and super quick, making everything swift and easy. They offer 3 levels of matcha soft serve, with the higher levels having a stronger flavor--I kept mine simple in a cone. I went with level 2--pretty good. I'd rate it a solid 4 out of 5. My fam would prob give it a 7 out of 10. I'd definitely want to come back and try the banana matcha drink next time. Btw, bathroom available :) read more
Came here around 3:30pm on a Thursday and it was pretty empty. There were a couple people sitting in the shop and one person ahead of me ordering on the kiosk. I have always heard about the hype around Meccha Matcha as they are known from their matcha from Japan. It is a cute and chill spot to hang out at, and the matcha definitely met my expectations! My boyfriend and I got the new seasonal drink which was the matcha latte with a blueberry cream top. It was pricy though and over $8. We also got the special soft serve flavor of the week which was ube. Everything was so good so I can understand it being more expensive. I would come back and try other drinks and the parfait looks intriguing as well! read more
This is one of my daughter's favorite places for matcha teas. They use high quality Matcha that you can tell from the taste. She ordered her usual matcha latte with oak milk and I got the hojicha with oat milk. Both drinks were really yummy! The service was fast and efficient. It wasn't a very pretty shop, but at least it drinks were delicious. There were a few tables and chairs, but the place was rather empty. It's one of those places where I would visit for a grab and go, but I wouldn't want to sit here to enjoy my drink. read more
Good place for matcha! I got the strawberry oat matcha with level 2 matcha. They have a good strong matcha flavor. Their matcha tastes earthy (in a good way), and I appreciate that you can choose what level matcha you'd like for your drink. For the strawberry part, it tastes like they use actual strawberries too since you get some of the seeds in the drink. Glad that they sell matcha powder and hojicha powder here! Excited to make my own. Outside of food, great service and several tables inside if you wanted to catch up with friends. read more
I've been coming here forever and the matcha always hits. While offering a variety of flavored matcha beverages and treats, they also offer 3 levels of matcha strength. As an avid matcha lover, I typically get Level 2 or 3 when I need the extra energy boost. Keep in mind, it is an additional dollar for each level. You can even add extra matcha, but I have yet to try that option. All in all, this is the perfect place for those new to matcha, or experienced matcha lovers. With the customizable options available, everyone can definitely find a drink that fits any preference. They have a self-serve kiosk, but you can also order at the register. Ordering is easy and simple, and service is fast and kind. There's ample seating inside, and it's also nice to work in because it doesnt get super busy. read more

Some of the best Matcha ice cream I have ever had! I originally wanted the swirl soft serve with vanilla and matcha, although their machine was broken and I could only get one or the other; despite this, I was not disappointed. The soft serve was very light and fluffy, and the Matcha flavor was sweet yet not overpowering. I got mine with strawberry puree, and it was a great addition. The shop itself was very small with little seating. It was very packed and loud in there because it was a weekend night, so it was also a little hard to hear our order being called. The workers were very kind and did a great job handling the rush. I would definitely come here again, and I have been craving this soft serve ever since I finished it! read more

Came here as my wife is a huge matcha fan. Its nice to see jo one here when we first arrived. Guy working the counter is super nice. Talked about the different food items. What they offer here. A little bit about the menu. They have different levels of matcha. She started at level 2. I would've done level 3 probably. But she got the matcha level 2 latte (which costs different then the level 1 or the level 3). And I got their meccha 8 parfait. Order comes out very quickly. The green is a very dark green. The colors are just amazing. The latte tasted good. We'll balanced. Very refreshing. The meccha 8 was a site to behold. Looks so pretty eith all the colors. It has a little bit of everything. Some soft serve. Some mochi balls. A matcha brownie. Red beans. Matcha jelly. It was everything matcha. It was really good. Not overly sweet or bitter. So many textures. They habe a little kiosk you can order at. Typical Japanese system to cut down on human interaction!! But its a really good matcha place. I enjoyed it. And I'll definitely be back soon! read more
A place for matcha drinks and soft serve. Choose from levels one to three for intensity and caffeine level of matcha. Since it was our first time and they did not offer samples we chose level two for iced matcha unsweetened tea and soft serve. The soft serve can't taste much matcha flavor and still too sweet. The matcha tea was better. I still prefer the matcha place inside the Mitsuwa marketplace at Cypress for a more authentic matcha taste. read more

I saw on social media that they offered a Sakura soft serve and really wanted to try it. Since it was the last day they offered and they were close to closing, I called ahead and ask if they have any Sakura soft serve left. They told me they were going to run out by the time I get there but they saved me a cup and put in the fridge for me. When I got to the shop, they had it ready for me! It tasted really good and was worth the drive for me. I really hope this flavor will come back in the future. read more
