I love fresh fruit and milk snow (softer form of shaved ice). My favorite is the Mango Bingsoo. What's not to love about Fresh mangoes on a bed of milk snow, it's just so good! Especially when it gets a little melted and so it turns into a mango slush and that's my favorite part. I wasn't a fan of the Watermelon Bingsoo, it had an artificial flavoring that made it taste like candy than fresh watermelon. It's a hard pass for me on the Watermelon Bingsoo. Parking sucks, it's a smash parking lot with lots of business in the plaza. Service was fine. Thank you Sul & Beans for the Mango Bingsoo!
Came to this location since I went to the other one before. Service is great here restaurant is small and you have to wait for a table of its for dine in. Portion is perfect and great menu. For great Korean dessert this is the place
After a nice long day at the water park, brought the kids out to Sul & Beans as its been quite some time since we have been here. I wanted something refreshing and cool and felt this was a MUST! Its located in Buena Park off Beach Blvd and the shopping center across from the Zion Market shopping center. There is a nice private lot to accommodate patrons too. Sul & Bean have a good amount of seating a nice variety of desserts. Bingsoo (shaved ice dessert), toast, Boong Uh BBang and drinks! During our visit, we ordered their Fresh Mango Bingsoo and Black Sesame Toast. The fresh mango Bingsoo was enough for the three of us. So nice and refreshing! We love also the nuttiness of the black sesame toast. We don't get to come to the area very often but if we have a chance, this a place we enjoy coming to. Sul & Bean is always taken care of, clean and service is pretty quick.Two thumbs up always for Sul & Bean!
This dessert place that gets sooo crowded and loud LOL. It's best to get a table outside so you can actually have a conversation. The Oreo Bingsoo was okay, it was a little watery for my taste and my friends and I were all choking on the oreo dust hahah. But the Banana Milk Bingsoo was sooo good - it had the perfect amount of banana flavor (that didn't taste artificial at all), and the banana cream on top was the perfect texture and sweetness.
Delicious bing soo! I'm all for strawberry flavors and my friend and I got the strawberry cheesecake bing soo here. They have simple strawberry bingsoo and a mango however we decided to go for something more extravagant. The cheesecake bites were good but got soggy really fast once it started to sink into the ice. Surprisingly there also isn't much syrup or flavoring just seemed like condense milk? But was still overall delicious and the perfect summer treat on a hot day! The service was fast and efficient and the ambience was nice. However there was music playing overhead and at times it would be loud which made everyone talk even louder. So there were times it felt difficult to converse. Overall I did enjoy the bingsoo and would come here again. However, I would probably only order the plain strawberry one instead for future reference.
I was introduced by my good friend to visit Sul and Beans after our recent dinner outing. I loved everything about this bustling cozy cafe. The strawberry and cheesecake bingsoo was refreshing and delicious. Not too sweet, not too icy, and everything was just right. Same with the taiyaki. Loved the slight bitterness of the black sesame paste and the wonderfully lightly sweetened custard flavors. Visiting during the evening can be a challenge due to slightly long wait and lack of tables to sit. It is very crowded but for a good reason. Parking is free right outside of the shop. Takeout can be made and they will provide your order in a reusable insulated tote with icepack inside. Extremely thoughtful and loved the attention to details. Will be definitely back to try other flavors in the future.
I came here with a group of about 10 people after playing tennis. The place is not super tiny, but it was completely packed when we went. The staff looked very busy and honestly a bit exhausted, but they were not rude or unfriendly at all. It just felt like there were too many customers at once, so I do not really blame them. The inside also felt a little warm, probably because it was so crowded. We ordered mango bingsu, strawberry bingsu, injeolmi bingsu, and 15 taiyaki. For a bingsu place, I thought the bingsu itself was just okay. The injeolmi bingsu especially felt a little bland to me. These days, I usually prefer places that use sweeter milk-based shaved ice, but this one felt more like plain milk or even watery ice. The taiyaki, though, was really good. The batter had a nice chewy texture, and that was probably my favorite part of the visit. Overall, I probably would not go out of my way to come back on my own, but if friends wanted to go, I would not mind joining. Solid spot, just not my personal favorite for bingsu.
I love Korean shaved ice. We came into the little cafe and was greeted. The cashier let me know if I had any questions to feel free to ask. We ended up getting a strawberry bingsu that was great. We shared it amongst 4 of us. We also purchased a black sesame toast that had mochi in the middle. I liked that the cafe had a contemporary style twist to it. It was clean and had an area to put your bowls when you're done with the bing su. I would come back here and try different flavors next time.
This was my first visit to a Sul & Beans and having bingsoo. The ice is so nice and fluffy! We wanted to try the green grape flavor but it ended the previous day so we went with earl grey instead. It was very good. It was the perfect combination of flavors and textures, including cream on top with berries and mint. We got the green grape drink instead, which they still had. It was nice and sweet without being too sweet. It was lively inside but we were able to get a seat no problem in the afternoon. They had some plugs by the water dispenser but not throughout. I appreciated that they had fruit water available because bingsoo is sweet! I look forward to trying their other flavors.
I went here with my partner and her family for dessert after our lunch. It wasn't too packed inside, so we were able to find seating to accommodate all of us. The staff seemed to be a bit busy with all of the orders they had to make, so it took a few minutes to speak with them to order our dessert. We ordered the Green Grape, Strawberry Cheese, and Oreo Bingsoo. I really liked the green grape bingsoo for how refreshing it was, but all of them were just as good in their own ways. They also had relatively large serving sizes which helped satisfy all of us. There was a good amount of parking outside and the staff was working as hard as they could to get to everyone in an orderly manner.

Shave ice at another level. Fine snow flake consistency. Simply amazing. Hip vibe. Efficient service.
Busy bingsu spot in Buena Park. Went with some buddies to get dessert. Was packed but was able to snag a table. Place is your typical Sul & Beans spot - so pretty consistent. Had the black sesame bingsu. Was easy eats. Would come back if I'm feeling for some bingsu.

This location does get pretty packed especially at night on the weekends (got here at 10pm) so might be hard to find a table to sit at but they do offer take out! We got lucky and scored a table. However tables aren't wiped down is what I noticed while we ate there. Ambiance is pretty loud and a bit tight inside but they have outside seating as well. We got the strawberry matcha bingsu and it was yummy! Good balance of matcha and strawberries. It took about 10 minutes to get our food. I'll be coming back to try out their other flavors! read more

Very Disappointing Experience -- Poor Customer Service A friend of mine came to visit from out of state, and since she had been looking forward to having Korean patbingsu (shaved ice with sweet red beans) while visiting the U.S., we decided to go to Sulbing. We ordered patbingsu, bungeoppang (Korean fish-shaped pastry), and an iced café latte. All three items were placed together on one tray. Before eating, I took a picture to post on Instagram. Then, when I picked up the iced latte to take a sip, the lid came off because it had not been properly secured, and the entire drink spilled all over my clothes. I immediately told the staff that the lid had not been properly closed. Instead of apologizing or offering any help, the employees insisted that they had definitely closed it properly and that they had heard the lid "click." They basically said it was not their fault. What was even more upsetting was that they then walked into the kitchen and left us without offering any assistance at all. We asked for something to clean up the mess, but they told us that the tissues were outside and that it was self-service. They simply handed me a mop and expected me to clean everything myself. I was honestly shocked by the lack of basic courtesy and customer service. I went to the restroom and tried to clean my clothes with water as best I could. When I came back out, I saw the two employees inside the kitchen laughing and chatting together. At that point, I was extremely upset. Despite everything, I stayed because my friend had traveled a long way and had really wanted to try the patbingsu and bungeoppang. We tried to enjoy our food, but the whole experience left a very unpleasant impression. Later, when I looked again at the latte photo I had taken for Instagram before the spill, I could clearly see that the lid was not properly sealed. I don't usually write negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I felt I needed to share it. Mistakes can happen, and I would have understood if the staff had simply apologized and tried to help. What was most upsetting was the attitude afterward -- no apology, no assistance, and no basic courtesy. I will not be returning to this location. read more

This was my first time visiting Sul & Beans in Buena Park, and it definitely won't be my last! The café was clean, cozy, and had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and helped make my first visit a great experience. I ordered one of their bingsu desserts, and it was delicious--light, fluffy, and topped with fresh ingredients. The portion was generous and easily enough to share, making it well worth the price. If you're looking for a refreshing Korean dessert spot, I highly recommend giving Sul & Beans a try. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! read more

My friends and I of course had to get some dessert after dinner. There were 8 of us, but we were able to snag some tables on a Sunday evening. We split three bingsoos (one was a combo with toast), and it was a perfect amount to share. The earl grey bingsoo was so good!! Highly recommend this one. The tea flavor really came out. The green tea bingsoo was decent, but I'm not the hugest fan of red bean. The injeolmi (roasted soybean powder) bingsoo was my least favorite. The flavor was too light/subtle for me. It tasted like watered down coffee to me. I would go back just for the earl grey bingsoo!! read more
Bingsoo here was great. Pillowy and fluffy. They had so many flavors to choose from. The Bungeoppang was so good. We tried custard and Nutella. Fresh, crispy, delicious. Service was great, we took it to go and everything was packaged perfectly and stayed cool. We would be back to try more flavors. read more
Sul & Beans is usually packed on weekends with a constant line, but we got lucky visiting on a Friday evening and barely had to wait. There are plenty of tables, though on busy days they can all fill up quickly and orders can take up to 20 minutes. We were able to order right away and went with the Fresh Strawberry Bingsu, plus a side of red bean. Compared to our last visit, this time there was a lot more strawberry syrup/jam, which felt a bit overkill. That said, I still loved the mochi cubes on top -- perfectly soft and chewy. The shaved ice itself is light, fluffy, and tastes like sweet milk without being too heavy. Overall, the dessert is solid, though the flavors can be hit or miss depending on what you order. I'd recommend sticking with the strawberry or injeolmi for a safer, more consistent choice. read more

This is popular korean bingsoon dessert chain. This is the 3rd location that I've been, other ones I've gone to are the Rowland Heights and KTown location. PARKING: Free in the plaza/lot it's located in. SWEET CORN TOAST: A combination of sweet and savory. There is cheese in here and you tastes exactly how you'd expect it too. Wouldn't mind getting it again. BLACK SESAME BINGSOO: This came with a scoop of red bean and some mochi on top. The flavor was good, however holy cow the portion has definitely shrunk since I've first had it years ago. I'm not sure if it's just this location or all, but disappointed that it's at least shrunk in 1/3 of size. They also didn't offer us condense milk to pour over? I shared this with 3 others, the 4 of us agreed that this was good to share as a light dessert. I'd say this is more appropriate to share for 2 people. read more
Stopped by to grab dessert after hearing good things. Parking wasn't too much of a hassle, but the inside can get very packed. Finding a seat took a while. There are a lot of chairs, but it's pretty much elbows to elbows, which makes it a bit tricky carrying food and drinks around. They do have an outdoor seating area, but that was just as busy. We probably came during peak time, though this place seems popular enough to stay crowded most of the day. I ordered the Strawberry Cheese Bingsoo, and it was solid especially if you're into the cheesecake and strawberry combo. Overall, a good dessert spot with quality shaved ice, just be prepared for crowds and limited seating during busy hours. read more

After dinner, we stumbled upon this spot and I'm so glad we did. Parking was a bit tricky, but absolutely worth it. We ordered the matcha and a banana . I love matcha, but the banana was hands down a 10/10! There's a good amount of seating, though it can feel a little tight. Overall, a great place and I'll definitely be back often. Service wasn't overly friendly, but still polite and efficient. read more
Sul & Bean is always a go-to spot when I'm craving something sweet and refreshing! Their bingsu is perfectly soft and fluffy -- not icy like some places. I tried the fruit one this time, and it was so pretty and fresh! The grapes and strawberries were sweet, and the condensed milk on the side added just the right amount of creaminess. The portion is definitely shareable, but honestly, it's so good I could finish it myself. The shop has a cozy, relaxing vibe -- perfect for a dessert date or late-night treat. Friends recommmended the earl grey bingsoo & it didnt disappoint! It is not too sweet, light, fragrant in earl grey, had some vanilla icecream, and some cream on top. The berry & mint adds a complimentary flavor too! I enjoyed the graham cracker powder too. Perfect treat to share with some friends! Service was quick on a Sat as there wasnt a-lot of people when we came in and plenty of seating available too! Nice place to yap & hang out with friends. read more

Sul & Beans in Buena Park is one of my favorite dessert spots! The bingsoo is incredibly light, fluffy, and made with fresh ingredients. Every bite is refreshing without being overly sweet, and the portions are generous enough to share. read more
Came here after dinner because the kiddos wanted something sweet after dinner. This place was packed for a Sunday evening. The line to order went by fairly quickly and the lady that took our order was friendly. We were able to get a table right away and our bingsoo came out within 15 minutes. We ordered the Oreo and chocolate banana. Both were pretty disappointing. The shaved ice was light and fluffy, but I've never had a bingsoo so bland before. And we eat bingsoo quite regularly at other places. The ice was barely sweetened with condensed milk that we were all thinking, perhaps they forgot to put it in?? All we tasted was bland shaved ice and toppings. Such a disappointment! Will never be returning here again. read more
As much as I LOVE the bingsoo & taiyaki here... I gotta be real with you...the wait, parking, & super cramped space can be a lot The bingsoo itself is absolutely worth the hype! I wanna say they're Korean based?? So fine, fluffy, & not too sweet. We always get the Earl Grey (my friend would literally die for it), & it never disappoints. The taiyaki is also delicious!! We've tried the nutella, matcha, custard, & red bean fillings... all a hit! But WARNING!! It gets busy, & takes a WHILEEEE to get your order. The place is small but big? It's like a sorta big space but they PACKED it with tables & seats. I swear to you you're like elbow to elbow with the person next to you . So it's definitely not a study spot or talk in quiet & peace kinda place. Fingers crossed they upgrade to a bigger space someday! read more

My husband ordered the coffee and he said it was strong but good. The bingsoo was SOOO good! The ice was so soft, creamy, and the perfect dessert after lunchtime! Service was quick. They are very organized, trays set on the counter, clean tables and chairs. There's plenty of parking. I'd love to come back and try other items, especially their fresh mango bingsoo and toast. read more
I don't care if it's cold or hot. BINGSOO IS THE WAY! Anywho, here's Sul and Beans and what they could offer during those strong bingo cravings. Thankfully finding said place for the cravings is centered directly near Beach Blvd and the parking lot is pretty open. Do expect parking will be a bit scarce when it's busy hours considering X Fish is nearby. However upon entry; clean, plenty of seating with outside and inside tables and even a bright menu that is easy to read and even displays of what you'd be getting! Considering the easy to find place, easy to read menu and even the food displays I'd say most of the services are self-service but very direct. Ordering from the cashiers is straightforward but they'll still help you with making suggestions. It's nice to see those suggestions won't break the bank either. From past experiences, there are bingsoo places that would charge a tremendous amount but since these items are shareable, it makes the money worth it. Might I emphasize, SHAREABLE? Splitting 2 bingsoo styles is no problem when it comes to a family of 4. All with different stomach sizes by the way. It'd be hard sharing in the first place anyways too. There's going to be, without a doubt, a go-to for someone who frequents Sul and Beans considering the array of options. From a fruity crisp Yogurt Berry Bingsoo, to a chocolatey Oreo Bingsoo and even to a refreshing Watermelon Bingsoo. Did I mention they also have drinks AND taiyaki? I've been to Sul and Beans a few times and it's always a great experience. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is really cute and cozy. The place is usually pretty busy, but the desserts are definitely worth the wait. The portion sizes are generous and the flavor is always really good and refreshing. Overall, it's a great spot to hang out, get dessert, and enjoy the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you like bingsu. read more
The bingsoo at this location was just okay. I visited this bingsoo café on a late Saturday night and it was packed! There was a long line still at 9:30pm. My friend and I waited for about 30 minutes to order and receive our order. Walking-in, the interior was a typical café interior. There was indoor and outdoor seating. I liked how they displayed accurate representations of their bingsoo through models up front. Ordering was easy and they gave us a buzzer to come pick up our order when it was completed. My friend and I got the Green Tea bingsoo and it was okay. It looked pretty, but I feel like there was too much red bean. It overpowered the bingsoo. The ice was good, but I wish there was more green tea flavor. I also wish the mochi pieces were softer and sweeter. I did like the candied nuts/fruits in it though. I also liked the layers of shaved ice. For around $13, I didn't think it was worth it though. I could tell effort was put into constructing the bingsoo, but I feel like they should change their recipe and ingredients. Overall, okay experience here. I wouldn't come back, but if this was the only bingsoo option available and I was craving it, I would eat here again. read more

When I arrived, it was pretty crowded, however our order came out faster than anticipated! Presentation is absolutely beautiful. The mangoes were definitely freshly cut up. I was disappointed that the shaved ice wasn't flavorful at all. I wished I would've been able to taste milkiness or condensed milk. More mango puree could've been better too. Perhaps their other bingsoos are better? I've only been here for the mango and it has been hit-or-miss for the ice flavor. read more
