Worst service ever, Midway's version of Seinfeld's Soup nazi Ryan's review is spot on...it's obvious the owner is clueless.

So slow!!!! No table service. One bartender for more than 70 seats. 20 minutes standing to order one drink.

The Club MDW is small, but it's well run. Landing at Midway around 8 a.m. on a Monday in August, I…read morescanned the QR code to join the lounge's waitlist. The text I received said it would be 15-20 minutes of waiting for one, but it ended up being 10 minutes. Here's my experience. 1) Admission: Using my Priority Pass, I was able to easily enter the lounge after being on the waitlist for a few minutes. The woman at the desk scanned my Priority Pass and then boarding pass. Another staff member showed me where to sit (a freshly cleaned table for one). 2) Space: There are seats for one, areas for two near the window, and longer tables for larger parties. The entire space is small, which is why they limit access. There's a small bar and restrooms. 3) Amenities: There are two areas for food. I went for breakfast. One area had dry cereal with jugs of milk, two different kinds of muffins (chocolate and blueberry), an espresso machine, flavored water, and orange juice. The other section has fruit, bagels and toast with jam, butter, etc., waffles, and scrambled eggs. 4) Service: It's excellent! Staff were kind and attentive. Dirty dishes only sat for a few minutes before someone cleared them.

I also recognize that our previous lounge experiences have been mostly Capital One specific lounges and those are vastly different brands of lounges I appreciated the convenience of this one, it was very easy to get to from security and then only a short walk to our actual departure date when it was time. Because it's pretty small, I was worried that we might not be able to get in, but they were able to accommodate us fairly quickly. The food that was served during our time there was definitely lackluster though. Some of the hot items were lukewarm at best, and it didn't seem like there were frequent replenishings or items being changed out throughout the day. I'm still grateful for a place with a little bit more peace and quiet to wait for our flight, but the specific accommodations offered here aren't the star of the show among lounges.

A perfect quiet, cozy corner of the city to hide away in with a good book on a cold night. Reservations are not required. I was able to walk-in and have a few seats to choose from, but it doesn't hurt to make one if you're eating. There is a cozy game room across the hall for billiards and grabbing a casual drink with friends as well

I had been enjoying the city after a day of shopping and dinner at Joe's. A friend recommended this lovely bar/lounge. We are not from these parts of the U.S. and love to explore. This lounge is on the second floor of the Chicago Athletic Association building. Part of the Hyatt chain. I was warmly greeted by host and placed next to an old fireplace in front of the bar area. I was seated facing the entire lobby. I was enjoying the Gothic architecture. It was dark and a soothing atmosphere. I appreciated the appropriate music playing as well. It was a perfect way to end my day. I had a glass of champagne and my server recommended the Basque cheesecake. Which was perfect cause I recently visited San Sebastian, Spain. The Basque region makes a great cheesecake. The burned caramelized top complimented my champagne well. There is a room/bar in the back room of where I was. A great bar with games and TVs for sports. After enjoying my nightcap, I walked downstairs and was able to order a ride-share and wait in the warm entry of the building. This hotel is directly across the famous Bean which is in the beautiful Millennium Park. During the day, I highly recommend checking that park out.

We sat at a high top table next to the bar. Our server was friendly and checked on us frequently but not enough to be a pest. I appreciated her cheery attitude. He ordered the rib tip dinner which is slow-smoked pork rib tips in BBQ sauce, dinner portion. I went with a cup of seafood gumbo and the Cajun BBQ shrimp grilled in Cajun butter sauce with garlic, green onions accompanied with French bread for dipping into the sauce. The crusty bread went well with the sauce. I enjoyed my shrimp very much. It could have more taste in the sauce but the shrimp was cooked well so it was not chewy. I also asked for bread for the seafood gumbo. It came with butter and was enough for both of us. The soup was fairly decent. Not the best I've had but I would order it again. The portion was perfect as it didn't fill me up so I was able to enjoy dinner without feeling stuffed. His pork rib tips were divine. Melted in your mouth soft and the bbq sauce was delish. The atmosphere was fun and sports were on the tv screens around the lounge. But it was not too loud in here for conversation. You can also pick songs to be played using the music app. He suggested I use the restrooms in the restaurant portion of the building as they might be cleaner. They have a parking lot and a sign which says not to park on Natchez or Neenah as your vehicle might be ticketed or towed by police. They put up signs to show you which way to enter the small parking lot and which way to exit so be on the lookout for them especially during busy hours. I liked this restaurant and would return.
