Haltom Thrift has a great selection of good items at really solid prices. I've found some nice pieces here for way cheaper than other places, and the deals are definitely worth checking out. The store is usually well stocked and you never know what you'll find. Overall a good thrift store with fair prices--just a little more organization would make it perfect. read more

Always a great place to come shop! I definitely never leave empty handed! Have shopped here for years and by years I mean 10 plus! My family shops here often even though these past years prices have increased by a lot and Prior managers were not handling the shopping experience any good they would pick through and put out over priced junk. As a frequent thrifter, I'd give this 3 stars due to the absurd prices. Simple and non name brand items are overly priced. Some are even new with tags for less in that actual store. But I still do go because I like the hunt for things. I leave with something every time. Of course when I see it priced well. Customer service is pretty good here. Never had a problem. The ladies are nice and efficient in their job duties. I'd give it 5 stars if the prices were lowered. read more

I have been going to this location for years. I also donated many items. On my last visit the prices has doubled. I don't understand why would you increase prices on items that were donated. Jeans $16 dollars really, no name brand, curtains $16.88 and many other items. People go to the thrift store to save money or that maybe all that we can afford. I went to the location off Denton hwy, ok well after getting home I checked my receipt and realized I was over charged by almost 10 bucks ( not much but 10 bucks is 10 bucks ) I called the store the very next day ( bc they were already closed ) was told the manager already left for the day which was between 1030-11am when I called l, anyways I was told to call the next morning so I did and the manger was there and I spoke to her about my issue!, and she asked me if I still had the receipt ? she needed to see it told her I could go up there now ( the time I called ) and she told me she was getting ready to leave but she would wait on me! great I will head up there thank u...so that's what I did I live maybe 4 miles away so I told her to give me 10-15 min and I'll be there ! so I get there and I was told she already left for the day! I was shocked bc I left right after I got off the phone with her! so I asked the lady at the counter if she could call her ? I was told "NO shes not feeling good I'm not gonna bother her "which she never mentioned and if I had known that I wouldn't have asked her to wait !anyways bc I know I will get no where with them so I contact corporate office get no where with them either ! I'm just gonna let this go but I don't recommend this place at all they can careless about there customers read more

I love this store. If you looking for a good find, this is it. I came in looking for 1 outfit for an outing and ended up buying 2 paid of jeans, several blouses and lots of shorts. I also bought a pair of shoes. The prices are great and they have tag sales every Monday and Thursday. Their clothing selection is so huge and you can tell they only put out the best selections. Went in today to see if it was open and it turns out they had been open since May 1st. Anyways, they're taking precautions and wiping down surfaces where customers might have touched. When I went in, it was full of clothes and all types of things. Was a good day for me! Maybe try middle of the week for some sales. But this place is always packed with clothes. Purchased two large chairs from this place. My car was too small to carry both of them. Asked store manager can I come back with my truck to pick them up. She said no! The owner did not allowed this! If you go on Mondays and Thursdays, most tag colors are 50%, making many shirts just $1-$2 and bottoms about $2. (Do take note that the fitting rooms are closed on sale days). Best variety of: clothing, shoes, accessories, housewares, good toy/stuffed animal selection Less likely to find: large furniture The store is clean enough and fairly well organized. I did great here this week! I was able to find 2 Ann Taylor Blazers, both in great condition and even Petite! I have a feeling my clothes twin must have donated her closet. Both were marked $3.77 and since it was Monday they were 50% off! Lots and lots of clothes I just didn't have time to look through this trip. There was definitely a lot of the normal thrift clothes options- the outdated pant suits and well worn cheap clothes but its just the luck of the draw and your time. Always good finds here. Everything is pretty reasonably priced here too unlike some other thrift stores that have gotten full of themselves who will remain nameless. Things are more or less well organized. The only real complaint is it seems kids are let loose to go crazy on sale days, but that's not exactly the businesses fault. This place is ridiculous. Showed up at 7 bc I needed pants for interview and the dressing room was closed. The store was open but the dressing room was closed. And apparently it's ok for a clothing store to not let you try on clothes for an hour before they close bc it's always been that way. Ok it's two doors down from a goodwill. Just go there. read more

Great prices, great clothes in all sizes BUT.... the day I went they weren't allowing anyone to use the dressing rooms?!!! I'm sorry that's just not going to work for me anyway. This is the best thrift store in the metroplex. I always find something to purchase and it's with little effort. I would encourage one to go on Monday and Thursdays because most color tags are 50% off and I assure you whatever you are looking for, you will find that and more! Well I would only hope that most of the clothing finds at the thrift store would die there, but I didn't actually come here to look through the clothes and I didn't look at the clothes. Nope! Not at all. Not even a peek. I came for one reason only to find two very specific books. I only found one and it looked like it had been chewed on by a dog or a teething baby. I actually considered buying it, but felt that there were enough thrift stores in Fort Worth that I should just move on to the next. Prices for Old books these days are just outrageous considering paper books are just about obsolete or mere novelty items these days $2.00 for a chewed on book without the sleeve is just outrageous. I went in on a Wed. & wanted to buy this btl of perfume that didn't have a price; no price/no sale; so, I was told the lady who does the pricing would be there the next day but she leaves by 2pm; so, I go, and the lady who does the pricing tells me, "Sorry, we only price things on Mondays, so I can't put a price on this for you!"
