A neat general aviation airport in Hamburg. You can rent hangars, tiedowns, etc. I'm not sure what their rates are, but I have a friend who keeps a plane here and I've flown in here once myself. The runway is fairly short and not wide and you'd be approaching through a little valley. The airport can be tough to find because it is so short. There's been times when I've only been a few miles away from the field and found it hard to see it. There is fuel here and I believe pilot controlled runway lighting can be activated, although I've only flown out of here at night once and I can't seem to remember now. It's a neat little airport, not quite the community that Akron Airport has and has a north/south oriented runway (so watch out for potential crosswinds); but good to have in the area nonetheless. read more
