Man ole man where to start with this Hidden Gym...very much surprised at the quality of the food from a "hamburger place" my wife and I and son stop here passing through on Vacation and we were not disappointed...the 2 hamburgers we ordered were great...I would however suggest the fries not the onion rings they were way to big to enjoy...the shrimp plate my son ordered were frozen shrimp and for the price of that I was a tad disappointed, but not enough to change the star ratings because the burgers were that good...the name tells you what you should order for sure... read more

It's COVID-19, and hubby and I are on a quick weekend "mission." It's not the easiest to find a non-chain local fare eatery that is open, so I called to make sure. It was open! Stopped here for a mid-afternoon meal. We both ordered the Bubba Burger. He ordered their Yukon Gold potato fries, and I ordered their French onion rings. The burger? Dee-lish! I called The meal in 15 minutes before I got there. I arrived right just as the meal was finished. I got the Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken Breast, Side Salad, Green Beans, and Toll. The green beans weren't like the canned green beans you get to the store, from what I could tell they were homemade with little cubes of ham as well as some bacon bits I believe. The salad was made with iceberg lettuce and fresh grape tomatoes-I can't recall The other ingredients because I was so impressed by the freshness of the tomatoes. Lastly the grilled chicken breast with honey mustard on the side was out of this world. The chicken wasn't one of those thin frozen pieces that comes in a bag. It tasted like they had just taking it off of a charcoal grill. It was by far one of the juiciest and tender pieces I've had from a restaurant. read more

Very expensive for the small amount of mediocre food delivered. I eat there maybe once a year and I always forget that for the money you are better off eating at a fast food restaurant. The flavor is nothing to write home about and the portions are ridiculous for entrees at $10.99 and up. Small chicken breast, fist sized baked potato and a pitiful house salad. $11 for the appetizer trio of 3 cheese sticks, 16 fried green beans and 18 fried pickles (we counted). Food tasted off, so I asked to return it and for the meal to be taken off the ticket. Owner aggressively confronted me and became belligerent when I politely refused something different from the menu. After quietly assuring him there was no intent to cause a scene, he reluctantly (and with many audible complaints) took the plate away and off the ticket. Overwhelmingly unpleasant experience. I'll start with the service. Katy, our server was fantabulous! She was always there whenever we looked around, despite it being late in the lunch time and the staff were trying to eat. From the way they were making the Gumbo disappear it must have been pretty good. My wife had the children's menu hamburger w/ onion rings (no condiments at her request) and I had the regular burger with onion rings. Her child's version had only two rings, that's the only negative thing I can find to say about the meal. Very tasty meat in the burgers. The prices are a bit steep, kind of what I'd expect to see in a ski town or other tourist area. All in all...we'd go back. read more

My husband considered the chili, but decided against it when he was told it wasn't homemade. The Bubba Burger was delicious, but the tiny leaf of lettuce and 1 slice of tomato was disappointing. I had the spicy chipotle burger with fries. They have a chipotle snow sauce they bring out with the burger that phenomenal. It's not very spicy if you are worried if it's too spicy. Very reasonably priced. The staff is great! We went around 1pm on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't have to wait more then 5 mins for a table even though it was very busy. The food was okay but the service was awful. So we had family visiting from out of town and decided to give this place another try. It was another epic fail. They put us in the back room where they could seat a group of 6. When the air turned on it blew our napkins off the table and was bitterly cold, which might have been okay if it had been mid summer. Members of the party ordered beer and what they brought was disgusting. They were out of 3 of the 6 requested drinks. They waitress, even with a request from the table, did not remove empty dishes that were cluttering up the table. When we could not find her we started refilling our own drinks. When going out to the bathroom we spotted her and 2 others at the register talking and laughing. No we will not waste our money bringing out of town guests here again. read more

Awesome! I had hickory burger. It was great. Everyone, all 5 of us loved everything. Waitress was great! Friend had sirloin steak and I tried it and could not believe how good it was. I ate here with my sister on Friday night before Arkadelphia's biggest college game (Battle of the Ravine). The crowd was moderate. The manager seated us and called out to a waitress to take our table. One girl came and took our drink orders right away. While she was gone, another girl came and asked for our drink order. I told her someone else had it, and she said OK and left. The first girl brought us our drinks and never came back. The second girl seemed to have most of the tables in our area, but apparently she thought the first girl had picked us up. The manager was surveying the room, but he apparently didn't notice that we weren't getting served. After about 15 minutes, I flagged down the second girl and asked who had our table. She went to check and found out that no one did. She was very apologetic and took our order immediately. Her name was Alexa, and she was a very good server, getting everything to us in a timely fashion and expressing her regret for our wait (without falling all over herself to apologize). The food was nice as well. The two stars are for the disorganization and the manager's shoddy system -- yelling out to a waitress that she has a table and hoping she hears him! read more
