Stopped in today to get a hamburger. When I ordered the burger I had a choice of 1/3 lb or 1/2 lb. Without asking me the cashier rung me up for the more expensive burger and I had to stop her and correct my order. I also told her that I only wanted the burger and not fries. So, she run up the fries and I had to correct her again. I asked for a cup for water and was given and charged for a bottle. Went to the restroom to wash my hands and there was no soap in the dispenser. Told the girl behind the counter and she acknowledged that there was no soap. As I was waiting for my food I did see an employee go to the restroom and I assumed that he was filling the dispenser. After lunch I again went to the restroom to wash my hands and surprise, surprise no soap. Food took a long time to arrive and when delivered it went to the table next to me and they had to be corrected. Not impressed. read more

This is the absolutely worse Hamburger Depot I've ever been to. I ordered the mushroom Swiss cheeseburger, which comes dressed with grilled onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese, according to the menu. They also added pickles, lettuce and tomato.The meat was dry and tough, and some of the Depot Chips were half cooked, neatly cold and tough. I won't be back to the Bridge City store! read more

I ordered online took 30 minutes I put in notes burger well done and okra well well well well done I said literally dark almost burned so 30 minutes later I get it meat is not dark or well done okra is greasy and light and mushy not well done at all. I asked girl she rudely said you don't think they well done I picked up said no light and squishy she said all we can do. She knew I www mad said want us re-do. I waited 30 minutes they couldn't seem to get it right why would I wait espically since she said they couldn't cook them any longer what a line of bull!!!!! Never again. This place was once a Jack in the Box, and I had been wanting to try it when it reopened as Hamburger Depot for some time. I finally had the opportunity to do so yesterday. The service here is excellent and the staff is friendly. The dining area is clean and constantly maintained with late 90s/early 2000s country music playing in the background. There is a self-service drink machine, and Coca Cola products are served. I ordered the Depot Cheeseburger and Depot Nachos. The burger is fresh and cooked just right. The nachos are interesting as they use potato chips rather than tortilla chips, but overall it turned out great. This place doesn't fall under the definition of "fast food"--It does take a while for the food to be ready, as they cook each order after it is placed. Overall a pleasantly good experience and I will definitely return when I am in the area! read more

I ordered the sunrise burger and onion rings on June 15th. Was the 2nd time in a week. The first one was very good so I thought I would try it again. On the second one under the burger was a very long hair curled up. I have short hair. I called I was not looking for anything but was offered my money back anyway. The gentleman said he would reverse the charges. Nothing happened I called the next week talked to manager Whitney, she said call back Friday, nothing call back Monday. Finally you can write a review because at first the website was not accepting bad reviews. The Hamburger Depot opened in Bridge City, Texas maybe in the early spring(2016). Cars were turning in off of Texas Avenue like in a convoy. I travel through Bridge City to and from work every day. I decided to stop and see what the burger would be like. To my surprise I wasted about $7 on one cold, dry bread, thin meat patty, hardly any veggies! I wanted to cry because I was shafted! Mind you this $7 price DID NOT include fries and a drink!!!! Immediately I told myself you won't be stopping at Bridge City Hamburger Depot again! I have heard people say the restaurant in Beaumont, Texas has juicy, stuffed with meat and veggies burgers. For the last maybe 5-6 months no one has visited the Bridge City restaurant. Every day I drive by from work there isn't a single car at the drive through window! And maybe 3-4 cars in the parking lot( the workers)! I know you are staging a car parked at the drive thru, one driving out the parking lot and an individual person getting out a car and walking toward the door. So very sad and funny to see you staging a scene. You can forget it and why haven't you CLOSED DOWN???? Wasting time and utilities. Until you make a burger that gives the customer their money worth you will continue to not have business!!!!!!!! Please you have staged long enough, just shut it down and go home!
