I'm not sure who this lady is or if she is a new manager or what. But her whole attitude was nasty. Her name is Mildred Shaw. I was trying to be polite because that's how I was raised. When I got my food the fries tasted like they were old and refried in old grease. Mind you they just opened at 10:00 and it was 10:26...so I went back with my boyfriend because I didn't want any issues. So when we pulled up to the window passing the intercom she just had that wtf stank look on her face. So when she opened the door I started telling her that the fries didn't taste very fresh. She took the receipt with attitude of course and then threw it in the trash. Said to her co workers with the window still open...those are freshly made right? So one girl said it must of been the ice...meaning that the fries on the ice. So then I said it tasted like it was made with old grease. I loved eating at Weinerschnitzel when I lived in the Dallas area, and was excited to learn that there was a location in Orange, TX. This is clearly an older location with the A-frame architecture, a very narrow drive-thru, and outdoor seating. The food is exactly how I remember Weinerschnitzel to be: hot dogs, burgers, fries, and generous on the chili and cheese. This chain has a simple menu. Pepsi products are served. There is usually a Tastee-Freeze attached to Weinerschnitzel, but this location does not have one. read more

Three words "All Beef Hotdog"(with chili and cheese ;0). People line up down the highway for these dogs. I'm not particularly impressed with the regular dogs but like their all beef ones and have not tried the brats but they do look tasty. My first time going to this place and I must say this was the most ratchets place to eat I've ever been to in my life ....the workers obviously don't enjoy there job and mess up your order many times upon telling them unfortunately this will be the first and last time going here .... We stopped in, because we are from Amarillo and expected this wiener schnitzel to be just as good. We placed our order and our vehicle wouldn't turn into the drive through, so we drove around and walked up, she took my payment, but would not hand me my food until I pulled up to the window with the vehicle... then they only gave me half of my food and hurried us along. Fortunately we stopped as we pulled out and was able to walk back to get the rest of our order. . Which by the way she handed to me through the window without my vehicle. They didn't give us any mustard or ketchup, but the food was good. The service was possibly the worst I've ever had and they were so rude. Best hotdogs and corn dogs EVER!! I have to eat there every time I come to town! I wish they had these in Mississippi.

The reason for the lowish rating was that my favorite and families favorite menu item has been completely removed it seems! We were huge fans of their frito pie and found out today that item has been completely removed, I know they can't do anything about it but considering it's the main reason we come here, it will definitely make us think twice about eating here. read more
