So I got a present . . . from me . . . and it was a cheeseburger. The day before, I was searching for a non-franchised large cheeseburger, ended up in Silsbee, and suddenly saw a food truck. It was Mr. Burger. Obviously, I didn't eat it then; I wrapped it up and put it in the refrigerator, then under the tree the next morning. When I ate it a few days later, I fell in love. Two STRONG char-broiled patties, tasty bacon, the right amount of tomato - I think it just knocked Santa Cruz's Betty Burger out of the top spot. I am writing this on my 29th (again) birthday, and the Hunny asked "Where would you like to eat?" I've been in trouble with her for years, it goes with being a married man, so I picked five possibilities. Mr. Burger's permanent spot, in Beaumont's ghetto, was one of them. She and the girl were okay with going there. So I had the honor of introducing them to Mr. Burger a few hours ago. They both had cheeseburger with fries for $10. "Oooh, it's a toasted bun!" (the girl) They both wolfed their burgers & fries down quickly, got full, and this cheeseburger became the highlight of their day. The girl wants to come here again. I asked what was on Loaded Fries, and got the answer: beef & chicken fajita meat, white and green onion, tomatoes, covered with cheese. No cheeseburger for me, I'm trying the Loaded Fries. And I'm iffy on fries. These fries were pretty soft, but everything else on it made this incredibly good, a meal to remember. It doesn't look large, but it fills you up; most people wouldn't be able to finish it in one sitting. Mr. Burger is absolutely worth driving at least a mile off the Eastex Freeway. If you love your beef, you're likely to love Mr. Burger. It's probably the best burger in the Coonie Triangle, and you can quote me on that. read more

I was in the area and decided to give this place a try. I ordered a Mr. Burger, +cheese, with fries. The cashier who rang me up was very cordial. She told me my total was $9.49. I gave her my debit card when I noticed the menu as posted quoted my order to be $6.49. I asked the cashier what was the difference between what I'd ordered and what the posted menu price was. She smirked and shrugged saying "the cheese?". I asked if a slice of cheese was $3 extra and she again shrugged, still smirking, saying "we don't make up the prices". I told her I understood, then asked for a receipt. The cashier stated "we don't really print receipts". So I instead got a refund. I am unsure if the menu prices have increased, which they absolutely could have. However, I feel that any change in price should be reflected on the menu as to avoid instances like this. read more

The food at this place is so good. It's like how you would cook at home on the pork chops and burger. The burgers are so juicy and flavorful. The pork chops so tender and juicy and full of flavor and a nice size plus reasonably priced. The shrimp burger is really really good it has real shrimp and is plentiful. The French fries are tasty and not greasy they are served nice and hot. They also have milkshakes like the old school kind. All of the food is freshly cooked they don't cook it until you order. The service is great all of the staff are very nice and friendly. They want to make sure you are satisfied and they make you feel welcome. There is outside bench and table seating. Always keep clean. So today we decided to finally give Mr Burger a try since there are new owners. The place look very good. I love what they've done to the place. It looks great They've put tables in the front of the place for seating if you decide you would like to eat there. The menu is fairly big with lots of goodies to choose from. The staff was friendly and the order process was quick. We've seen the burgers on best bites so that's what we decided yo order. The both of us decided to order the two double meat hamburgers with cheese with a order of crinkle fries and a order of onion rings. Not often you find crinkle fries. Once you place ur order you receive a little buzzer that lights up when you're order is ready. That was pretty cool. Finally our order was ready once we approached the counter we were surprised at how heavy the bag was. It smelled heavenly. Once we arrived home we couldn't wait to tear into the bag. We were shocked at how big the burgers actually were. Biggest burger I've ever seen. They taste like homemade burger that you make at home and were seasoned to perfection. I could barely open my mouth to take a bite. This was one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be back. Best burger I've had in Beaumont this far. While visiting family in Beaumont Texas. We decided to go to Mr Burger as a reccomedation from my brother in-law.. The burger was amazing. The burger was huge definitely one of the biggest I've ever had two meat patties cheese, jalapeno peppers, lettuce, tomato all the fixings and a delicious toasted bun. It was amazing. Prices have always been fantastic and for such great quality. One thing I noticed that keeps me going back, consistency in the best possible way. Every time I've ever gone, my burgers and hot dogs always have the same fresh delicious flavors. Same seasoning, same love put into making it, and just quality food. My husband and I eat here often because they do have very good food. We usually eat the fish burger/ff for $7.99 which is what is posted on the sign. Today I go there for lunch and order this basket and add a kook aid and the price was $8.65. Ok I'm cool with this but when I got my food there was no fries? I ask about my fries and she said I only said a burger and kool aid which clearly I told her "basket" I'm pissed off now because I see what she's doing. So I walk back to my car to grab more money to pay for the fries and as I approach the window the employee (with the cut on her face) is going off about them not making the prices they just cook the food. She and I shared a few word. Moral of the story.... Everything today is about supporting black owned businesses but when you do...they try and rip you off because they try to make an extra buck or two.
