    The car I have wanted!!

    I can't say enough good things about my experience with Victor! From the moment I walked in, he treated me with genuine kindness and respect. He made the entire car-buying process so simple and stress-free -- no pressure, no gimmicks, just honest and helpful guidance. He truly went above and beyond to get me a great deal, and you can tell he really cares about his customers. If you're looking for someone who works hard for you and makes sure you drive away happy, I highly recommend asking for Victor!! He is A truly great man and a truly great salesman.

    The back of our car always comes out dirty from the car wash. I've been complaining about this for months but they don't care.

    I brought my car in for its 2nd "free" oil change as it has been an additional 6,000 miles and 6 months since the last oil change. However, they refused to honor the free oil change for the life of the car and said we need to wait for the oil indicator to hit 15% before they will change the oil. For the first oil change nobody had an issue with the oil change percentage or told us anything about needing to wait for the magic 15. So buyer beware: Hamilton Honda's "free" oil changes come with a limitation of basically only once a year every 12,000+ miles which is not in agreement with the manufacturer's recommendations of every 5,000-7,500k miles and "Regardless of the mileage, perform an oil change at least twice annually." I emailed the manager Kerri to try to find out what went wrong and how we can make sure we aren't denied service in the future but never received a response.

I got a call asking me if I can reschedule since they didn't have enough t staff. I agreed and schedule for Friday May 5, at 5pm. I got a call saying that the auto shop had flooded if I can come at 4. I told them that I would try. I call to let them know that I couldn't get out to make it by 4. I rescheduled again for Sat May 6, at 8am. i got to the store at 7:30am and the shop with the supervisor didn't get in until 8:15am. I signed in and asked if my tires were in. The supervisor checked and said yes. At almost 9am the supervisor calls me and said that they only found 3 tires. I reminded him that he had verified that all my tires were in. He replied that he had told me yes my tires were in, but he never told me how many. And at this point, I was extremely extremely upset and very frustrated with the service on my car service that I was getting from Walmart. I asked him to please confirm how much it was going to cost me to get the tires installed since I was told they were going to be about $10 apiece at which point he replied that it would cost over $20 for each one. I explained that during rescheduling my appointment I was quoted about $10 apiece and he said to me that he would be more than happy to put my tires in the trunk and I can take them somewhere where they would be less expensive. By this time, I was extremely upset and really frustrated with the service or lack of that I was receiving from Walmart. I told the supervisor that I was going to write to his manager and asked him for his name and he replied it was Walmart. I have had several frustrating events at Walmart at the marketplace, including having two adults, approach me and take food out of my cart, but having an employee disrespect me and provide horrific service takes the cake!!

That's what I do; Yelp and google review the good and bad in my life. And for some reason, this one slipped through the cracks, and for that I profusely apologize. It was about 3 weeks ago and I had been driving around for a week with a headlight out. Not a huge deal, except my husband was out of town, I already had received one warning from a cop, and I had no clue how to do it myself. Bright and early I drove to my usual auto parts store -- which is NOT this one. Mine is just down the road, however. It was right at opening, raining, and I was hoping if I paid someone they would do it for me. I knew I had a crisp $20 in my wallet. I entered the OTHER store; 4 guys were at the counter, talking, drinking coffee. I explained I needed help with picking out a bulb (I had no clue), and would be be willing to pay to have someone install it. There were no other customers in the shop. The four of them got quiet. One looked out the front and said, "Is it the Subaru?" "Yes," I replied. Hem, haw, stammer stammer... "Well, we don't really..." That's all I needed to hear. Obviously not one of these 4 big strong men wanted to get their hands dirty in the rain. I turned to leave. One guy spoke up. "Well, let me..." I snapped back, "You just said you couldn't/won't do it," and I left. What to do, what to do? Then I remembered the fairly newer place, Auto Zone, down in the old Acme building. I'll sum up, and I kick myself daily for forgetting the names of the two amazing people who literally did everything for me at this location. One was a crisply dressed uniformed manager, a female, sharp as a tack. Her assistant -- whose name may have been Kyle -- was equally impressive. They did not hesitate. While she assisted me in selecting the right bulbs, he went out to my car and assessed what tools were needed. This was not an easy job. I have a 21-year-old car. Bulb replacement is not easy. The two of them worked side by side replacing both bulbs, and refused payment for the installation. And remember -- it was raining. And that, OTHER PLACE, is called customer service. Although I did immediately fill out the survey at the bottom of my receipt and named these two by name, I failed to take this extra step in getting my story out to the public. I am so very sorry. I wept on the way home for the state of the world, for my relief at getting this done, and for knowing that good people still exist on this planet.

Well turns out that mine didn't meet the criteria for the free installation and I had to just lug my battery out and figure somethings else out. I asked if I could pay to have it done there and I was told that I can pay my mechanic whenever I get around to doing that. The attendant wasn't professional at all having very loud conversations on speaker phone talking openly about other customers and transactions. I won't be back to this Advance Auto Parts for any of my automobile needs. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the online ordering/pickup was convenient.

There are similarities in the wide display of everything car/truck related being found on the aisles, the same way the multitude of chicken pieces were dressed up with many sauces, accompanied by veggie and rice alternatives. I came in looking for a jack and lug wrench to replace the original equipment that had gone missing recently (one of the great mysteries of life). Everything Advance had was for much heavier usage. Even the smallest scissor jack was engineered to lift a panel truck, and much too heavy duty (and just plain heavy) for my needs. I did remember to pick up a replacement wiper; finding myself studying the chart to determine which model and level of sophistication was required. For $22 this better last forever. Service was of the DIY variety, which was okay after I located the area of the shop I wanted, but no one volunteered to assist. I guess most customers have been there before.

Last week, I called and made an appointment to have an energy chain link installed in my van. I explained clearly that I would be traveling from New York, about 80 miles, and I spoke with Rigo, who assured me they had handled this type of work many times before. When I arrived for the appointment, I handed over the van on time and spoke directly with the mechanic to make sure he understood what needed to be installed and how. Right away, I felt concerned because he did not seem familiar with the job. Still, I trusted them because I had been told they could handle the work. After about an hour, the mechanic could not locate the electric plug. My sister had to show him where it was, which made me even more surprised and concerned. If they had done this type of work many times before, I expected the mechanic to be more familiar with the process. After several more hours, nothing meaningful was completed. I was told they were calling someone else to help guide them, but still nothing was resolved. After waiting around five hours, I was finally told that the part I brought would not work and that they would have to order another part. I was willing to leave a deposit for the correct part, but then I was given a bill charging approximately $508 for diagnostic fees. I was shocked. I was not clearly informed upfront about this diagnostic charge, and after waiting so long with no repair completed, I felt this was completely unfair. In my opinion, the shop should have been honest from the beginning if they did not have the right experience or mechanic available for this type of work. Instead, I drove a long distance, waited for hours, left with the van still not fixed, and then was presented with a large diagnostic bill. The owner came across as a smooth talker, but based on my experience, I did not feel treated fairly or professionally. Overall, this was an awful experience. I would not recommend this dealership or repair shop. Anyone considering using them should be very careful and ask for all charges in writing upfront before leaving a vehicle there.
