Total scumbag car dealership. Sold me a brand new car with a small paint defect. Then against my wishes proceed to wet sand my brand new black car . So when they repaint the roof that they damaged they go ahead and leave over sprayed clear coat on another part of the car. Took it in 2 times after that and they say it's good to go. Pick up the car covered in pollen so I can't see that they didn't do anything. So now I'm driving a brand new car with paint damage. I trusted that Coleman would be a trustworthy and reptile dealership/anybody shop but I quickly found out they are liars, thieves, and down right dirty. My car has been there for over 8 months for body work that has already been authorized through my insurance company. I do not hear from Coleman's unless I reach out to them. They also took over 7 months to provide me with a loaner. I hope anyone in their right mind NEVER takes their vehicle here or buys a car from them. This is down right DISGRACEFUL!!! read more

I am pleased with my experience at Coleman Cadillac. I have purchased 2 cars from Gold Coast Cadillac over the years and have been satisfied with my experiences there from the sales department to the service department. I was recently in the market for an upgrade from my 2011 Cadillac CTS. Unfortunately Gold Coast did not have any preowned vehicles that I was interested in, utilizing the Cars.com app I noticed a Cadillac XTS in inventory at Coleman. I know a few of my friends have purchased cars there so I had no doubts about a potential purchase from Coleman. Coleman is about 30 minutes from me, about the same distance as Gold Coast Cadillac so time in transit is not an issue for me. As a matter of fact I didn't realize how much shopping and restaurants there are around the dealership (quakerbridge mall) So waiting for the service department shouldn't be too bad. I worked with Mario on the sale, great guy very friendly easy to talk to. I test drove the prospective car, and ran through the car with a fine tooth comb. I noticed a few things that I would like to have corrected prior to taking delivery however we needed to hammer out a deal we could both live with. I had a trade which I needed to negotiate on top of the purchase of the newer car. The negotiations were tough, I worked Mario and after the typical back and forth with the manager, I asked to speak with the Manager so we could settle on a deal. We worked out terms we could all live with. The dealership would only correct the dent. The other items were refused which is why I took off a star. I had the Paintless Dent removal completed today and while I was there I asked if the service department could check a few things as the service report was incomplete when I bought the car. The service department stepped up nicely and changed the oil, rotated the tires, changed the cabin and air filter on the house without an appointment. I have another 500 miles until the warranty is done so they went above and beyond and performed the service. This is important to me and will not be forgotten. The waiting room is comfortable which several chairs, A big screen television and complimentary coffee. The dealership is a smaller Cadillac dealership, only a few sales reps and space for 3 cars inside, I think they know they need to outperform the competition in order to be successful. For a small dealership they have an impressive inventory of new and preowned cars. I believe they also have GMC and Buick showrooms in the same complex. Good experience so far and I will not hesitate to visit Coleman Cadillac in 2 years when it is time to shop for another preowned Cadillac. read more

I felt as though I was being talked down to by the lady who was trying to convince me to get repairs done for my car when I went for an oil change. She quoted me for the price of a timing belt pretty low and good thing I went to get a second opinion because another mechanic explained to me how this is a classic bait and switch tactic. It's pretty much industry standard to get the timing belt done with the water pump, seals, pulleys, etc, and they quoted me for just the belt. This means that I would be tempted to go in based on the original low price, and while they had my engine apart they would most likely contact me and say my water pump needed replacing - thus increasing the price after I already agreed to do the repairs. I'm glad I trusted my gut and run far away from that place to a trustworthy mechanic. read more

Service department is not upfront with their prices. I get a battery installed and then pressured into replacing my brakes. The verbal quote I get before work is done is $300 total. I get the invoice after they replace battery/brakes and it is $600 because the verbal quote did not include labor. If you get work done here, get everything on paper. Coleman Cadillac are predators and will try to take you. It also took me six months to get removed from their "service inspection" call list. You can use Yelp to find other mechanics that are genuine in the area. You can get an oil change across the street and brakes replaced at other places. read more

Even though I live in Pa I have always heard great things about Coleman Cadillac just across the bridge in Lawrencevile NJ. It was definitely worth the drive! I purchased an amazing 2021 Escalade. With my two grandsons in tow we were welcome to the showroom with full COVID precautions in place. We felt very safe. Our salesman Mario was really knowledgeable about this new product. I was victim of a hit and run and my insurance instructed me to take my car to coleman cadillac's auto body shop for repairs. I was confused since i have a toyota corolla but followed instructions. I was very pleased with the way i was treated the second i walked in even though i am not a cadillac owner. Reception and the progressive desk were very helpful in answering all my questions and helping me understand the process. I cannot remember the names of those who helped me but they were so friendly. I think my favorite part of my experience was i expressed to them how pressed for time i was on the repair to my vehicle because i had a big road trip planned in a week. The repair shop quoted me 5 business days and they had my car looking like new in 4 business days! They even gave my car a full interior and exterior wash. Dealer too far from my house to just stop in. Also gave me two driver all weather front floor mats. Did not make right. Extraordinary customer service!! My car had been "making noise" for a few weeks but I had been too busy to bring it in for service. The day before my son's wedding the "noise" got so bad I thought the car was going to give up. I was a few miles away and just drove over. I was in a panic when I spoke to Chris the GM and my salesman Damon (this guy rocks by the way). They took my car without an appointment and gave me a car right off the lot. Not a loaner/rental, but a car they were selling because I just didn't have time to wait. This isn't something I expect to ever happen again, but it's good to know they take care of their customers during stressful times. I was back on the road 5 minutes later. I previously had another incident where I brought my car in and was supposed to get a loaner. I couldn't find my driver's license for the rental company so they had someone drive me home. This was totally my fault but they took care of me. I never felt taken advantage of by the service department. In fact, I received service for something which later didn't meet my expectations. They replaced the whole thing. As for the prices, the estimated quote is usually very close to actual and no service is ever performed without my verbal approval after they have had a look. I purchased my car from here in March 2013. My sales person was pleasant and friendly and did not pressure me to buy a car that day which was appreciated. The showroom was very clean and the staff was professional. Overall, I believe the price I paid for my car was reasonable. There was an issue with the temp license plate but it was quickly resolved. I noticed some complaints by others regarding the service department but I have never had my car serviced there because I live too far away. read more

do not go to Coleman for any type of service. brought in my car with power steering problem. after diagnosing the problem was told needed new power steering control module but the whole steering rack had to be replaced. the cost ,$2800. I agreed to have the work done. got the car next day only to find same problem.took it back was told broken wires were repaired but they still couldn't fix the steering.was told nothing else could be done and come get car.i gets the 1yr. guarantee does not apply even though they sold a part that wasn't causing the problem.brought car home and was in worse condition when I brought it there. all harness wires exposed and engine fan would not turn off. terrible waste of $2800 . I thought mr. Coleman was an honest man knowing they have been around for yrs. I guess they just look to victimize hard working people to grab cash. I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW THEY STAY IN BUSINESS. Car went for repairs after an accident. It came back fixed but when I arrived home I discovered mutiple chips in my hood. The body shop anmy insurance insist that it was normal wear and tear from stone chips and they wont fix it! The hood was flawless when it went in for repairs! I rarely ever write reviews but from my experience today I feel compelled to share my experience at Coleman Cadillac. After receiving multiple phone calls and emails insisting that I was overdue for my oil change I finally relented and scheduled with their service center. This was despite the fact that the car has only been driven about 1,000 miles since it was purchased in December 2016. Keep in mind that I had a scheduled appointment for a simple oil change. Unbelievable as it may seem, I waited for almost 3 hours. After watching numerous other customers come and go I finally approached the service desk and was told that they were overbooked. What? Is this and airline that overbooks to achieve full flight status? Why was I given an appointment if they are overbooked? Why not set my appointment for another day? Why not inform me before I left my house or upon arrival that there would be a 3 hour delay? This is totally unacceptable. If you're looking for quality customer service you're not going to find it at COLEMAN CADILLAC that's for sure. I doubt that I will even get the courtesy of a response to my questions or concerns. read more
