I tried the Apple Fluff (Fluffed Marshmallow Vodka) and the Whipped Sunset (Whipped Cream Vodka) both were sweet but tasted delicious. Food was also served from lovely ladies walking throughout the lounge. I got to taste some differents small plates of shrimp, pasta, beef ribs, salmon skewers, chicken skewers and more! All the of the food was great. The music, atmosphere, and crowd were wonderful! An awesome event that if it passes through BMORE next year I surely will attend.

For all of us Fine Arts majors who ended up as corporate ladder climbing cube-slaves, there is hope for us (if you're an arts major that didn't give up your dreams and are actually in an art related field - you can come too...just don't sit too close to me, or I may stab you with my #5 pencil) in the form of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School in Baltimore! It's not really an art school (hence the "anti-art school" in the title), it's more like a monthly drink and draw social club with live models in amazing costumes (OK, generally burlesque-esque costumes...over 21 only please), where for 4 hours, you can sketch away and remember a time when "carpel tunnel" was a disease you got from..."other" activities, not from creating 457 page Board Reports. Only $8 admission, and held at the Wind-Up Space in Baltimore, there are drink specials, fellow artist wannabes (and actual real-live breathing artists) to mingle and socialize with. All you need is to dig out that dusty sketchpad that your cat has been using as a scratching post, and a few pens and pencils (which you can happily "liberate" from your office supply cabinet) and transport yourself back to a time when creating beauty didn't involve powerpoint presentations.

This year was my first time going and I was pleasantly surprised! If you're like me and you get anxiety over festival parking, be assured that all you need to do is look at the festival map posted online for the event and they have clearly marked parking garages- all for 5 bucks! All liquor was 6 bucks, and food averaged 12 bucks on up. I ended up also getting doggie waffle treats for cheap. I loved their concept and interaction. Overall plenty to do... if you go make sure to check out the live music, vendors, and stay true to Maryland by checking out the seafood food stands! See you next year!

There were rides but mostly they were for the kids enjoyment. Definitely not complaining because slong with the wares there was an abundance of food you only find at festivals like funnel cake and huge turkey legs not to mention pad thai stalls and Jimmy seafood. I ate wayyy too much but i was happy with it. The beer garden was a nice touch for the adults. There was a band going which was nice back ground music. This was a really nice sunday strolling with friends and i got my mothers day shopping out the way!

It's a good size pizza coming with eight slices. Fantastic cheese pull, and has a squeakiness to the cheese. If you know, you know. They were a little skimpy on the toppings, would've loved a few more pepperonis, especially since I'm paying for it. The dough was phenomenal; fresh, soft, with a nice crisp to it. The crust was so good, that after you finish eating the pizza you could take the end and dip it in some garlic sauce, if only they gave you some. The sauce was perfectly flavored, the tomatoes tasted fresh. I'm not a thin sliced pizza person, this one made me change my tune. This was a well executed pie. The owner told me that it was one of the best, I'll have to give it to him definitely high ranking, and definitely feeds my soul. Curly Fries Freshly fried, golden on the outside. No complaints, good fries. Italian Cold Cut I like the meat tasted fresh, thin, sliced, and the toppings were also fresh. I took off a star because it didn't fit the meat to bread ratio. It was too much bread and not enough meat to match the thickness of the roll. The role tasted fresh was good bread. All in all, it's good to see a mom and pop that has lasted the test of time. The new Management is extremely friendly, very helpful and welcoming. The customer service is top-notch. So yeah, check them out. Especially for the pizza.

Recently moved back to the area and decided to get takeout. Two salads in the order were the saddest grilled chicken salads I have ever have paid $13 for. Nearly a pound of cheap lettuce, a couple pieces of tomato and cucumber, 3oz of the toughest driest chicken(I weighed it). No dressing. I called and described the salads. They offered to remake and I decided to pick up. In person they apologized for poor quality and promised that this time it would be much better. I did not check in the store. I got home. It was the EXACT SAME salad as described in above paragraph but with two tablespoons of dressing on the side. Epic disappointment of the high quality take out establishment that Parkville has lost. I wish I could give two stars for the offering to remake but I just can't.

Baltimore Review 2/Many: I was at this historical market a few days ago while exploring Baltimore…read moreand going to a nearby convention, with this spot being pretty close to our not-so-good La Quinta Downtown hotel. The space inside, to some extent, reminded me of the newer Essex Street Market in NYC. Both offer downstairs and upstairs sections with a plethora of food choices. As it was early, many of the more famous options, such as Faidley's, weren't open. I wish there were more grocery options here, as the only one we saw was tiny, but perhaps we didn't explore enough. I eventually got some snacks from Berger's Bakery, which I'll also review on their main page. They're mostly known for their namesake cookies, but since I'm not the biggest fan of either black-and-white cookies or chocolate frosting, I went with some Apple Fritters. The fritters were 3 for $5, which was a nice deal. They were large, not overly sweet, soft, had a light cinnamon flavor, and had plenty of apple filling. In short, they were very tasty and made a good snack throughout the short trip. Another person liked their cake donuts, and I concur, based on the piece of the blueberry cake donut I tried. I would recommend either and would go back and try other food options next time.
