Despite the name, they're located in Bordentown in the "shoppes of the glen" strip mall on 206 south. Everyone who has cared for precious one-eyed Alfie (who I could swear has some savannah blood, but most dismiss as "just a common tabby cat") has been great. Our little buddy is prone to urinary issues, and this office can typically see him on short notice to get him examined and see if it's a bigger issue or not. Their prices are reasonable, and they have a clean facility. Some vet offices have "that smell," this one doesn't. Waiting room is ample and so is the parking. Many calls go to a voice mail, but they call back promptly. They have Saturday hours and I believe "late days" of Tuesday and Thursday to accommodate work schedules or unexpected unfortunately pet maladies. Finding the best care for our furry friends is tough. I trust chesterfield with Alfie and feel fortunate to have found them. They love cats and are good at handling them, but dogs and probably other treasures are welcome too.

The staff was amazing and made the entire experience very welcoming. I felt they treated me and my dog as a real family not just a client or a paycheck for them. I felt the experience was really one on one and the doctor really cared about helping my dog. I didn't feel that I got ripped off when leaving or that my needs weren't met. The vet even scheduled a follow-up for my dog to check on her, which was amazing, my prior vet just gave me a hefty bill and would say call if anything gets worse and we can "try to squeeze her in". The vet, Dr. S., was really down to earth and easy to talk to. I didn't feel she was rude, negative, or cut me off when I spoke. I felt very respected as a dog mom and I felt she respected my dog the entire visit. I don't know if the other reviews just had some individual who were disgruntled but that wasn't my experience at all, and I was very skeptical and on edge about vet offices from my prior taking advantage of me, my money, and treating my family just like a pricetag instead of taking care of the reason we were there. I have every intention of continuing my relationship with Yardville Vet Hospital, I'm extremely grateful on finding them!

Although we haven't been able to enter the actual facility due to curbside restrictions at the moment, the service we have received is a true testament to how great this place is. Our dog was taken inside and cared for as we waited in the car with a follow up call with Dr. Samet the moment she was returned to us. Dr. Samet was such a pleasure to talk to and answered any questions I had. Big compliments to Paige at the front desk, too. She's an absolute delight and so friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. Dr Ed was so incredibly caring and thorough. This was my first time with my Piper girl, she had been under the care of Deerwood animal hospital than Nottingham animal hospital. Piper's diagnosis was to have surgery(2 teeth removed and a glucose monitor put in) I was told by Dr. Ed that my sweet Piper has a huge tumor under her tongue, she was suffering. I made the only decision that was right for my ever loyal and loving cat of 16 years. I felt like I was gonna pass out because I didn't expect this outcome. My one regret is after Dr.Ed have her the shot of anesthesia, I couldn't be in the room when she was put to sleep. When I say that everyone was so absolutely compassionate kind and wonderful, I truly mean it. I had them do people's Piper's cremation and it was since with such care. Dr. Johnson built a very strong relationship with us because of her amazing professionalism and caring/kind demeanor. She really connected with her patients and their fur parents. When she left, we noticed a total change. Dr. Levine is not Dr. Johnson in any sense. The lack of empathy and professionalism that my husband and I received after trying to address an issue with Dr. Levine is sickening. My husband brought in one of our dogs for a breathing issue in late October. Our dog was given a cortisone shot and chest X-rays (xrays were clear). During the visit, the vet tech noticed a small growth on our dog's head. My husband was asked to bring our dog back for a biopsy on Nov 4th. A biopsy was done. Results were allegedly communicated to my husband via phone on November 7th. My husband advised Dr. Levine stated "no cancerous cells were found." However, we should continue to monitor the growth for changes. Our dog continued to have a breathing issue that we took him to the hospital for on Nov 2nd bc we did not feel the cortisone shot brought any relief after the vet visit with Dr. Levine in late October. He received prednisone from the hospital. I received a call from Dr. Levine on Nov 3rd and he scolded me for bringing my dog to the hospital after he had already given him the cortisone shot. He didn't ask how about our dog's condition at all. He wanted to know why the hospital called to request record, which we found out he never sent. That was the first time I realized he lacked professionalism, empathy and sympathy! As time passed, we noticed our dog's breathing issue worsened and the growth on his head became larger. So, my husband went back to Dr. Levine on Dec 29th. I was FaceTimed during the visit. Dr. Levine advised that the growth didn't look good and he believed it was cancerous. I immediately started to ask questions about the biopsy. He stated the biopsy showed atypical cells, but maybe there was an issue with the biopsy that didn't catch the issue at hand. I advised that I was confused how we received information that said there was no cancer noted previously. Now, we are being told the growth is cancerous. Dr. Levine said he spoke to my husband and gave him all of the information via phone. When I advised I was not aware of the fact the cells were atypical and there was an additional issue outstanding, he raised his voice and began to blame me for not calling to speak with him. I told him it was his responsibility to communicate properly with his patients as the doctor. He should have sent a written report or followed up in written format, which is appropriate. Apparently, Dr. Levine recognized his error bc I received an email yesterday, 12/30 outlining the alleged details he discussed with my husband with the verbiage that he claims was included in the biopsy report. Well, that email was VERY LATE and only infuriated me since he chose to continue pointing the finger at my husband claiming they had a a detailed conversation. The email was clearly a "cover-up" at this point for the lack of information or misinformation provided. We had an appointment with MTL Animal Hospital for additional testing yesterday and are praying that there is a treatment plan that can help him. Needlessly to say, neither one of our dogs will ever see Paws and Claws or Dr. Levine ever again. I can only hope that no one else has a similar story or experience with him or his office. - I'm sure he will respond to THIS review in a similar manner as he has to all of the other one star reviews. Please note his inability to accept accountability, his lack of professionalism and the crassness in his responses. His true character shines through in every response.

Her regular vet said that if she did not respond to the antibiotics, we should consider putting her down. When I informed Cats Amazing, which rescued my cat and where I adopted her from, they recommended Dr. Wooley at Cats Only immediately. Dr. Wooley has successfully treated another cat that was severely anemic and she was able to the same to save my cat after two weeks of treatment. Her team was great in communication and took wonderful care of my cat during boarding. I cannot thank her and her wonderful team enough for their care of my cat. From now on, Dr. Wooley and her team will be our family vet for our three cats.
