Best customer service for having a bad start to my week Monday morning. I called AAA to open a service request due to my car not turning on and Hamner Towing was sent out. The technician that came out to me was very polite, but failed to test my battery after jump starting my car. I completed the survey and I was very surprised to receive a follow up call because most businesses don't care to reach out after receiving negative feedback. KC was very professional and understanding to my situation. He offered to send out a different technician as a courtesy to follow up with Monday's service call. Gerry, the new technician, came the same day at my convenience. Gerry was very knowledgeable, apologetic, efficient, and literally provided the best customer service I could have asked for. He tested my battery, and confirmed that I indeed needed to replace it. He replaced my battery right away. Very satisfied with both KC and Gerry! Highly recommend. read more

Customer service was top notch!! These guys truly went above and beyond. Unfortunately I had my vehicle towed from my place. I disagreed with the tow and pled my case to both my Housing Manager as well as Hamner. It happened on Christmas day so you can imagine the stress of no vehicle, and the unexpected fees on a holiday. Talk about bah humbug!! It was towed from private property so I realized Hamner was just the "lucky" party that was dispatched to the call. I lucked out because I don't think I would have received the same service from another company. Realizing it was not their fault I asked for a card and tried to explain my viewpoint to anyone that would listen, realizing it may fall on deaf ears. Though I figure my situation was a "special case" the owner called me personally and looked into my tow. My quarrel was not with Hamner but with my Housing Association, in my opinion they dropped the ball but Hamner stepped up where they didn't have to. The owner of Hamner Towing did me a solid and helped recoup my losses from that fateful Christmas night. Speaking to him it was clear he is not only a well spoken, intelligent businessman but also a stand up human being. Though it was a nightmare to get towed, I lucked out that Hamner Towing was the company that showed up. Few weeks back, my wife's truck died. I stayed with the truck until the tow truck got there. The driver was extremely helpful try to see if we could get the truck running again. After 15-20 mins of us trying to figure out the problem with it, he towed it back to the house. He also offered the repair service that their yard provides if I couldn't get the problem fixed. It's nice to see them try to get you back on the road rather than just towing you to make a quick buck. I'm horrible with name but the driver's name was Joseph.Keep up the good work. read more

I called this company for a towing estimate. I explained the tow was under 7 miles. The femaile dispatcher on the phone was rude and placed me on hold after asking me many questions. After a few minutes of being on hold, she told me if it is under 7 miles, it would be $79.00 and if over 7 miles it would be $100 Minimum. After checking around with other companies, Hamnertowing is the most expensive tow in the area. No thanks!! read more

IMy car died in the hammer lane just south of exit 91 on I-15 southbound on Thanksgiving day! Due to the heavy traffic my son was unable to get to us for an hour. That is when CHP was able to attend us. So with the help of my son and CHP , Hamner towing was called. The tow truck driver Matt was awesome! The night crew was utter professional and compassionate. I do appreciate how neat and clean Hamner Towing facility is. We were greeted and attended to in a prompt manner. The repairs done and I am on my way back to Boron CA. I spent my Thanksgiving in the median of the I-15 but all in all the day ended on a very positive note! My son got into an accident and Hamner Towing was called. When my son asked the driver to get his wallet and phone the driver named stuart said no you can come get it at the yard. When we went to search the car 3 hours later his wallet and phone was gone. Called the owner to make him aware and he just didnt care. read more

Scott the driver was amazing! He was extremely kind and explain the entire process and answered any of the questions that we had. Unfortunately we were here because our car got towed due to New Management and not being aware of new parking standards. He he was apologetic and explain how we could have avoided the situation in the future. Even though it was an unpleasant situation having Scott there to walk us through it really made the night less difficult. Only thing I could say that was disappointing was the receptionist, or the woman handling the payment in the phone calls. She was very rude and did not try to help at all. She definitely did not try to go above and beyond to make the situation A Little Less unpleasant. Overall though it seems like a very professional company and a majority of the employees seem to be decent people. So tow guy Joe, who's apparently no so bright, is dispatched to my call for a flat change. When he gets there, as I've gotten myself out of the freeway traffic as much as I could without driving down the remainder of my axel, not so brilliant Joe refuses to assist me and stated " $200 is not worth my life" and he left me there stranded! What kinda brown crap is that!!! Then while he's there my battery died and thanks to his non assisted providing service I jumped myself with the portable I had. If this isn't an exemplary of what NOT to do as a contract towing company of AAA I don't know what is. Didn't even offer to help me move my vehicle over or assist me just left me on the freeway. Thanks butt head. I'll b finding out who owns that tow company through public records and sending them a written complaint. I'll also be sending AAA a written complaint about the company in which they contract with leaving service requesting customers stranded because their life is more important than assisting others. That 1 star is a minus 100 really!!!! read more

This place deserves 0 stars!!! DON'T CALL THEM IF YOU'RE STRANDED!!!!!! I got a flat tire and called this place because it was near and had 4 stars on Yelp... (Big mistake) well a man answered and told me it would take 30 mins. 45 mins a passed so I decided to call back to check on status when a rude lady answer and told me they had no one available and that she had no idea how long it would take. So I waited 45 mins for nothing, when I could of called someone else!!!! So.. then she said if I was going to wait for more time (again she didn't even know how long) or if I wanted to call someone else.. I gaved them another chance, I mean I was hoping someone would get there soon!! No one ever called me till after 2 hours.. So I decided to call some other place they got there in 30 mins and was way cheaper than this place!! Staff obviously don't know what the hell they're doing nor care for your business. If they would if told me it would take 2 hours I would of appreciated that more than them telling me it'll take only 30 mins or to call someone else. They honesty don't need any business so why bother! That lady needs to learn some manners and quit the job if she's so unhappy! Anyway I hope this saves someone time and have a better experience. Being stranded sucks!!! Call Inexpensive Towing if you're in the area! They'll get there faster and it's also cheaper! Oh yes and they are very friendly!!! read more

If I could give a half star I would, first off I called the day before to schedule an appointment to have a vehicle towed, figuring that this would be easier. I was supposed to be contacted by the dispatcher at 8:00am I never received the call, my office called them around 9:00, to which I was told it would be about an hour before I would see anyone. Finally at 11:00 am two hours later the driver showed up. Once he filled out the bill I was expecting 1 hour tow fee, because my destination tow was only 7 minutes away. He slaps me with a bill for two hours, saying I am being billed from the time he got the call at 10:00 am. I called and tried to speak with the owners of Hamner towing to dispute the charges but they were unavailable. The dispatcher that was supposed to call me at 8:00 gets on the phone and explains to me the charges, and that I have to pay for when they called and dispatched him! I have used Hamner towing for years with the past company I worked for and never have had any problems like this, I received such horrible customer service. The driver was rude, the dispatcher was rude and they gouge you on pricing! Beware of this place! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! read more

Worse experience ever. The driver took our car to a different address and didn't call us to see if he went to the wrong place or where we went. He then took our car back to the towing yard. After locating our car the women who answered the phone was rude. I had an irritated tone in my voice because of the experience and not sure where my car was. I asked her why the driver didn't call us because he had our number. She snapped and said what does it matter you have AAA so its not like you get charged for the mileage where would you like us to tow the car to now. So my next question to her was, is this why the driver took my car to your yard so you could charge us for more mileage? She became even more irate and unprofessional, because of how bad the customer service was we hired another towing company to come get the car. Hamner towing called off 3 different tow trucks and it took 4 different companies before we could get anyone to come get are car. We were stuck at there for 3 hours.
