Called around other shops to see who would help repair my Ram 2500 diesel truck and Diesel Powerhouse came highly recommended from other shops. Called a week ago and they were extremely busy and had me make an appointment for a week out. No problem, told them the check engine light was on and the codes were coming back with something to do with the turbo. Roger said bring it in and we'll take a look at it. Well the day finally came (yesterday) and I dropped my truck off at 9 AM. Got a call around 2 PM with what the issue is (turbo actuator). Roger said they could get the part in tonight or tomorrow and get it fixed by tomorrow. Which worked perfectly with my schedule so that was great. I was told a price which was really reasonable for the work that was being done and the factory part. Roger called around 1 PM today and told me that was the fix, and my truck is ready for pick up. I will tell you what is awesome about this place: No BS! Absolutely to the point, Roger is a great guy and knows his stuff. Timeline for repair is quick! At least mine was. Great communicators - called to follow up with is excellent. Seems like a family business. Roger had his kids there and it was nice to see a family run business in Norco. My 2001 Dodge ram 2500 died on the freeway. Had it towed to their shop. Fuel pump and injection pump both had failed. Replaced them only to find out the computer fried as well. Took a few weeks to get everything sorted out and to find the computer for the Dodge. They called in experts from Cummins to figure out my truck and to see why it managed to fry everything. Still charged way more than a fair price for what my truck put everyone through. Great group of guys. Always called me back and kept my in the loop throughout the entire process. I recently purchased a 2007 F-250 diesel and it started having a smoking issue upon acceleration. After talking with Matt, I had my truck towed 80 miles to his shop. During the process of getting it fixed, Matt and his crew had to fight back and forth with the warranty company, but always kept me in the loop, and escalated issues when necessary. Once we got the approval to do the work, Matt's Shop Manager (Jay), provided daily updates on the progress. The job at hand included removing the motor, and replacing the turbo. I received an e-mail letting me know my truck was ready (3 days ahead of schedule). I made the drive up to the shop to pick up my truck and couldn't be happier with the work. Not only did Matt fix the problems, he goes the extra mile to clean up wiring, clean parts, etc. For anyone that needs an honest, efficient, and all around great diesel repair/performance shop, I would highly recommend Matt and his team at Diesel Powerhouse. Was looking for a place near my office to work on my truck. Finally found Diesel Powerhouse in Norco. Their shop is a little hidden , but they are literally across the street from the DMV. Jay gave me an estimate to have my DPF cleaned. They also fixed my cracked crossmember for $150 less than what the dealer was asking. Also spoke to Matt about some modifications I was thinking about doing and he was very honest with me and told me I didn't have to do half the stuff I asked about. That alone saved me $1k. Flew from Minnesota to Ontario, CA to pick up my Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins 5.9 with travel trailer that was in storage. Heard about Diesel Powerhouse on the Cummins Forum. . Made appointment with Jay the service manager/partner to have leak checked, which I suspected to be either water or power steering pump.. Although the shop doesn't open until 8am, one of the partners, Matt was there when I pulled up at 6:30am. He knew I was coming and was eager to help me RX the problem and get me fixed up so I could get on the road to Las Vegas, where I am right now. He had me all fixed up by 10:30am - replaced water pump, serpentine belt (gave me old one to keep in truck as a spare for emergency), idler pulley, and obviously new coolant. At 106k I requested the valves be checked and they were all loose but not by much - but enough that the truck now starts a lot easier than it did before - the motor catches much quicker. Had an oil change and new fuel filter. Besides the the amazing service, when Matt returned after taking truck for a test drive, he'd washed the exterior and power washed the engine. This is a professional shop - clean, efficient, and reasonable given I wasn't able to find any other shop willing to work on my truck, other than the Dodge dealer who had bad Yelp ratings. I was having all sorts of trouble with my 2006 Ford F350 (like everyone else) and came across many recommendations for Diesel Powerhouse. I had my truck towed up there and within a few hours they had the issues diagnosed with a quote. I was a little hesitant to move forward because I felt some of the parts were an up sell but after reading into the issues and parts a little more I went with my gut to have it fixed. The shop manager Jay was more than helpful the whole time, even with my stubbornness. When we picked it up, Matt came out and explained all the work that had been done, why it was done and what we needed to do in the future to maintain it. I never liked dealing with jay up front, however I would deal with it because Matt was so friendly and informative. I never felt like I was a bother when talking with Matt. The last time I had went there to deal with a issue from a fuel pump they put in u wasn't treated like my business was appreciated. So while I waited in the lobby I began reading the articles on the wall. I realized that Matt was in the articles not the owner Jay. So I did some investigating and found that Matt had went to domestic diesel in chino. Thank god I did. I ended up finding Matt and meeting the owner John at domestic diesel. Huge shout out to Jay and his mechanics. We had a pretty significant problem with our fuel filter that caused a break down. We towed our truck to him and he was honest, up front and maintained great communication throughout the repair. The repair had the potential to cost A LOT of money. Jay stood by his word and even mentioned that he would put the effort into it as if it was his own truck. We got our truck back in better condition than dropped off and the cost was well below what we expected. Recently purchased a 2005 Chevrolet 2500HD truck. Truck was apparently a model show truck from a local shop in Socal. Was having problems with a tune that I let another tuner do. Intermittent boost loss, poor fuel economy, etc. Brought the truck to Jay and Matt and the fun began. The number of problems they found with the truck was unreal. Wiring problems, bad tuning and an ECM on its last leg. With top notch troubleshooting and repairs from these guys, they got the truck back to life with several problems fix. The new custom tuning along with the switch on the fly edge cts programmer. This truck is finally running like it should. The price for all the troubleshooting, parts, and repairs was MORE than reasonable. For the time and effort spent fixing this Duramax from hell, you couldn't ask for a better shop.
