We got close parking to the building and near the exit. When you enter; we went to the right side of the building. Once we got there, we took a picture in front of the building. Inside, we weren't rushed to go to the bathroom & get some concessions. We sat in the upper deck in the middle. Specifically, row KK seats 53 & 54. I've been to Sight and Sound 2 other times and sat in the lower seats... I think I would prefer to sit lower.... Up top, we could see everyone's phones on, people having to stand up and leave- which I know is so picky of me but I would pay the extra money to sit lower. I will say, a perk of sitting up top is the bathrooms and exit way to the lobby that is quicker to exit & way less crowded! The only thing is concessions aren't served upstairs (I think, not for sure on this) We saw David! My theological nerd of a husband had some beef with wanting more exposition especially with Solomon and the temple but I thought it was great use of the limited time they have! They walked us through his young boy years, Samuel anointing him, his relationship with Saul & Jonathan, hiding in the cave, becoming king, Bathsheba, and ended with his confrontation with Nathan and a redemption song. The emphasis was on David wanting to know God's heart and be known by God intimately. Really spoke to me personally in this season. I do think seeing Jesus was my favorite because it's the gospels. My husband says his favorite is Esther. But honestly, anything you see will be good. The ushers are amazing! They were keeping an eye out on anyone who needed anything-even working in the pitch dark to escort parents or children out. They have quiet rooms for families in the back & good seating for those in wheelchairs or anything else. At the end of the show, they have cast members and S&S staff available to pray with anyone who needs anything & they do an altar call for salvation, which is EPIC! They give space for people to encounter God and be walked through prayer.

We discovered The Petersens through YouTube about six months ago, and our entire family has fallen in love with their music. We also adore who they appear to be as people. In person, they were just as genuine as they appear online. We very much enjoyed meeting them and seeing them perform. Our children go around the house singing Petersens songs. Well, maybe not just the children. It was a thrill for all of us to attend their show. There were new songs and pleasant surprises, but also enough familiar tunes that we love so much. There were also plenty of laughs. My wife pointed out to me later that the show ended up being an hour and forty-five minutes long. Wow! The time flew by. The musicianship, arrangements, and harmonies stand out to me more than anything. They are so good! Please go check out their show if you can. Even if you are someone who doesn't know their music, I am confident that you would enjoy the experience.

Sounds was fantastic and it has the wow factor we were hoping for. The parking wasn't as plentiful as we hoped for but we made it work and don't have any huge problems. I loved the massive already decorated Christmas tree the beginning of November and the rich feel of the lobby. The snack ladies seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people and the lines were long but the prices weren't as criminal as most shows I have gone to. A hot dog was $4 and a chicken sandwich was $7. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained and there were comfy couches and places to charge your phone in a pinch. In the VIP balcony there was a plug right in front of my friends chair which helped us not lose connectivity at a long event.

From where we started at the White River Landing, everything was smooth and well organized. The landing itself is charming, especially in the evening with string lights and a couple of shops designed to match the showboat's vintage aesthetic. There was a dedicated priority boarding line for Captain's Club guests that started on time and before general admission, so we avoided any wait. Staff efficiently guided us through boarding (complete with photo opportunity with an option to purchase later) and to our seats in the dining area. The dining experience was outstanding thanks to our attentive server and other dining staff. With Captain's Club, we enjoyed a menu to choose from, were served ahead of the general admission guests, and the food arrived quickly. During dinner, the show with the Rivertown Ramblers was energetic, also well-organized, and highly entertaining. The talented vocalists and musicians delivered a fantastic performance. The combination of the scenic cruise, great food, priority service, and live entertainment made for a memorable evening and one of the highlights of our Branson trip. I highly recommend the Showboat to anyone visiting and definitely upgrade to Captain's Club if you can.

When we entered it looked promising and after a discount it was right at $160 for our family. We also did the Fly-Ride on our ticket. The Fly-Ride to start was okay. It was fun moving around and feeling some water and being emerged in the experience. However, the graphics were awful. The video was blurry. Afterwards we went into the exhibit and a lot of it was run down. Shattered screens or out of order on some things. The area for selfies was a bit confusing. There would be games and then a random exhibit on Reagan or Big Foot. It was all awkward and did not flow together like one would expect. We didn't spend as much time here as we thought we would. To be honest my teenager was waiting for us on a bench at the end. It was not worth the price of admission.

I had an incredible time at Hamner's Variety Theater last night watching "Back to the Bee Gees"! From start to finish, the show was pure entertainment. The band absolutely nailed all the best Bee Gees songs -- "Stayin' Alive," "Night Fever," "How Deep Is Your Love," "Jive Talkin'," and so many more. The vocals were spot-on, the harmonies were tight, and the energy on stage was electric. It really felt like stepping back in time to the disco era in the best possible way. What I loved even more was the great comedy sprinkled in between the musical sets. The comedian had the whole crowd laughing non-stop with clever, family-friendly jokes that kept the energy high without ever slowing things down. The perfect mix of hilarious bits and killer music made the night fly by. The theater itself is charming, the sound was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Perfect date night or fun outing with friends or family. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and catch a show at Hamner's Variety Theater. "Back to the Bee Gees" was one of the most enjoyable live shows I've seen in a long time. Highly recommend -- easily 5 stars! read more

There's a lot of great shows in Branson, but Hamner's Unbelievable Variety stands out for the sheer variety and pacing. Went on the recommendation of Johnny Lonestar (no relation, I swear, just a fan!). Loved his act with the ropes, pistol slinging, and of course the crazy bull whips. And he's just a small part of a great show. The other highlight sounds so lackluster. A dude in a ring. But it is beyond comprehension how great this is. You MUST see it to believe. I haven't even mentioned the magic, which goes toe to toe with the other big magic acts. Plus I never saw him tip anything or give anything unlike another act. *Cough Reza *cough*. There's also singing and some crazy acrobatics. It's jam packed. All in all, this is a Branson must do! 6 stars if I could. Great service from Dominic in the concession area too. read more

Direct quote from my 7 year old daughter, "I didn't like it, I LOVED it!!" This show was so much fun for our whole family!! They do an amazing tribute to our country and military!! Yes, some of the jokes are "corny" as other reviews state, but that's the point, they are supposed to be. Reading some of the other reviews I want to tell people to lighten up a little and enjoy life and some good wholesome clean fun! My wife and I saw this show last night and were very impressed and pleased with the whole show. It was very entertaining and had a great variety of acts. Hamner's magic tricks/illusions were very well done. The singing and acrobatic acts were very good and entertaining. The kids sitting next to us also enjoyed the show - it is great for all ages. It is very family friendly and a great night of entertainment. They had a great photo opportunity at intermission and at the end of the show all of the performers were in the lobby to speak with. If you are in Branson and looking for a great show to see, this is definitely a great choice. read more

Hamner has been in Branson for many years and I regret that I never saw his show until just now. This was a fantastic show featuring magic, aerial silks, music from award winning talent, and other amazing feats. The magic was fresh and new to me, it seems like so many magicians do the same tricks (stealing from older Branson acts like Kirby and Melinda.) We also saw Reza today, and liked Hamner much more. Hamner is not dark, like Reza, instead He's fun and uplifting. Our 7 & 9 year olds loved it too, and the 2 year old's attention was especially drawn during the bits with animals. We are from Texas and have visited Branson three times in the last two years and been here 3 times too!! This show is so amazing!! Loved it!! Mr. Hamner's right hand man actually said hi to my son one time, and made my sons day haha. So when we went back I hurried and saw the man and told him if he could say hi to my son again. So not only did he say hi, but he called him up on stage and literally made his whole year!!! They gave him a signed poster which he has on his wall. Thank you, thank you!!! My family absolutely loved everything about this! It was the highlight of my entire trip! The staff was super nice and helpful. It's great for families with kids of all ages especially 5-14. The last 20-30 minutes he talked about his family and church so if you love our country and are a believer you would like this too. Veterans would love it aswell they dedicate the last 10-20 minutes of their show to honor the veterans in the room with songs and a flag. Truly, truly, the highlight of my week! A great all around variety show - I would see it again and again... Funny, Amazing, Illusions, Interaction with the audience is superb. I say that Hamner & Barber are true entertainers, not just performers. All ages, kids laugh and engaged by the magic and the comedy. Families and Retired folks also have much to enjoy. This year we took my 6 year old nephew, while one of the acts were performing he turned to me and said "I've been waiting my whole life for this" so needless to say it was a hit with him. Hammers' Variety Theater was a good clean humor show!! The show was enjoyable for all ages. My kids age from 3-15 and we all had fun. I love how they honor our veterans at the end of the show! They also gave out free souvenirs for the crowd. Best show I seen in Branson! Highly recommend, for cheap fun kids from 0-12 are free and they have great discounts for adult tickets. read more

Surely they were older, but they didn't look it and that just seemed a little creepy to me. We had a member of our group encounter a medical emergency and our group had to get up and leave.
