Last night, we saw the musical family, The Duttons, perform. Based on the demographic in the audience, I thought that we were in for a real snoozefest of songs from olden times. But guess what... It was great! The third generation of Duttons (the grandkids) are in the show, and they infused in everything from Pitbull, Cynthia Erviva (Wicked), Scooby Doo , and even Ozzy Osbourne! Fun time! Fabulous show AGAIN! We've seen the show every time we come from CO and love it everytime! We follow the YouTube and Facebook and even have some DVDs (and fudge). It's the only show in Branson we repeatedly go back to, take others to, and recommend. Great to see 3 generations of talented loving family. Wonderful how they've incorporated the cousins in over the years but they stick to great music we can all understand! So much talent and an amazing family. We came to see the documentary Where Jesus Walked. The theatre has lines in the wall distracting you from the 360 degree show. They need to edit the show and bring it up to date with graphics, digital enhancements etc. I expected much more actual footage from Israel and surrounding areas and got a lot of animated things inserted in to the story. May 30, 2024 and our group of 4 came for the 3:30pm "Where Jesus walked" show. There is some parking on the side of the building and a huge lot behind it. You can bring it ice cream (only $1 per scoop), treats, popcorn, etc. from the associated business next door. Sadly, they've yet to get approval for advertising signage out front. Consequently, there was a total of 20 attendees at the show. Wow are the seats comfortable and the AC is excellent. read more

Wholesome, kid friendly. Had no idea what to expect, we picked a show rather quickly. The family is very talented! Hard to say who is most talented - truly well trained. Parking is steep, use your parking break! We enjoyed the classical remake of songs and the bluegrass spin! The steel drum song was way off but the eldest granddaughter sung her heart out. The Dutton theater is recovering from a fire that occurred last July, and it is shaping up beautifully. We were able to attend their first show of the season in their new building this afternoon. The entire family is so very talented from the grandparents to their kids to the grandkids... It's an amazing afternoon of fun. They do a wide range of music genres, including a couple of original songs you won't want to miss!! This family is an inspiration; they have endured some very difficult trials, and they continue to hold tightly to each other and their faith. Of note, the new seats in the building are very comfortable. Be sure to visit Abbys tourist trap next-door for your one dollar ice cream and go home with some amazing homemade fudge, and enjoy the best prices on souvenirs! read more

This show surprised me in a good way! They are very talented. Alot of shows in Branson aren't that great but this one definitely was worth every penny. They love what they do and it shows. They play instruments and sing. The whole family participates. They do everything themselves including seating you taking your tickets. They all have big smiles on their faces. It was an amazing show. The best one I have seen in Branson. Yes better than the Haygoods. Will go again of back in the area. read more

This was my first time going to the Dutton Family Theater and I didn't know what to expect. There was parking in the back that was probably shared with the Dutton Inn. They had somebody in a golf cart pick us up so we wouldn't have to "hike" up the hill to enter the front of this theater. The box office was inside which led to the gift shop. It also was where they sold fudge. I think there were probably 10 different flavors of fudge to choose from. I couldn't decide what I wanted but kept hearing everybody else order the Rocky Road flavor more than others. I bought a quarter of a pound for $3 and it was delicious! If you love fudge then you would really enjoy the Rocky Road fudge. It wasn't too sweet to me but that's just me. The seats inside of the theater were big and comfortable. They had two video screens to the left and right of the stage. Our seats were pretty close to the stage, so I didn't have to rely on the video screens to watch everybody perform. The Duttons show was great, entertaining and I really enjoyed it. I would say that it was my favorite out of only three shows/venue I went to since my arrival a couple days earlier. Everybody that was on stage were pretty talented so I found it interesting to watch how fast their fingers can move. lol I would recommend checking out the Dutton show! Come check it out! read more

This show is a great family show with plenty of talent. The staff was very polite and helpful and the performers took pride in a job well done. I thought a few performers were just developing, but I was easily to overlook that with the other performers. This show seems to be a show that continually evolves so no two shows are the same from season to season. We will probably visit them again in years to come. read more

What a fabulous show! Went here with my grandparents and not only was the show appropriate for all ages but there were saucy jokes for those that could understand them. The performance and music was incredible, the intermission snacks were affordable and delicious (walked away with 1 1/4 lb of Dutton fudge), and the show was only 2 hours long so it didn't feel like it dragged on! Would absolutely go again. In fact, this was my grandparent's 4th time watching the Dutton family perform. read more

I can't say enough good things about this show. My 12 year old son went against his will, but "Wow!"ed and laughed throughout the whole thing. He even begged for a DVD. I think we were all surprised at how much we liked this. Even I bought the tickets thinking it would be an okay time-filler, and that would probably be it. But the Duttons are a seriously talented family, and they put on a very enjoyable show. They play various instruments, sing, dance, and toss in some comedy for good measure. If you're in Branson (or Mesa, AZ, or one of their touring locations), you should definitely check them out. read more

My husband and I saw The Dutton Family show for the first time August 30, 2021. It was a fantastic show, to see a family of generations to perform together was amazing. From ushering to concessions the family was great. Our usher was one of the youngest grandsons he was so polite and so adorable. The Branson area experienced a lighting storm last week which caused some problems with the Dutton sound system. The show last night started about a half hour late while they fixed it. The Duntons are an energetic talented group that we enjoyed. Although the show started late they managed to finish on time. It was only an hour and 45 minutes show including an intermission. Did we get short changed because they eliminated some songs? It sure seems like it. We'll never know read more
