The Gyro was pretty good but the French fries were way over cooked. The service was what you can expect for a fast food table service restaurant, and the ambience and decor were very poor. I reviewed Yelp to find a good greek food place while visiting another city, but in hindsight I guess I need to take these reviews with a grain of salt. Overall, I would not return. Decently fast and the food was great! Service was excellent in helping my eleven year old find the perfect choice.

Nothing fancy, but the tables were clean, the gyro and fries were hot, very large and delicious. The service was prompt and friendly.

Excellent place for a quick bite of Greek Food. I ordered their spicy chicken wrap, and while it was spicy, it could have be taken up a notch..but regardless..it was deliscious. French fries were ok...lets put it this way..they all got eaten. Decor was non descript. Service was phenomenal..she checked on us frequently and made recommendations. The Greek Grill used to be amazing! Very disappointing now. The food is good but the service is horrible. My boyfriend and I went in for a quick bite to eat and had to sit at a dirty table and wait for it to be cleaned, which after we asked it was, but with Windex. Not proper cleaning products for a table in a restaurant. This already irked us but my manners told me to ignore it because it wasn't too horrible, but it should have been my cue to leave. Then we waited and waited for the waitress to even acknowledge us let alone give our order. When she did she walked up and said "I can take your order now" no offer of drinks, no hello, nothing. Since we had been waiting we knew what we wanted and asked for drinks. She continued taking orders then finally put them in and brought drinks to all the tables around us, but us. Then I ordered a clubhouse with a house salad, and water. So when my order comes out it's with a Greek salad, (still no drinks) and I said to the waitress I asked for a house salad. She spins around and says "that's what you have" I politely pointed out that this was actually a Greek salad, she replies with "well I've worked here for two years and that's what WE call a house salad, I can have a different one made I guess" I told her no I don't want any salad I'll just have my sandwich. We then had to finally request our drinks. Which we got half way through our meal. So we are both irritated, sitting and waiting for take out boxes for over 10 minutes, my boyfriend finally had enough and went to the counter to get them for ourselves, he pays and goes outside while I use a dirty washroom. On my way out the waitress mentions the Greek salad IS a house salad, so I tell her that no it isn't and hope she didn't charge him for it since she made the mistake. She then says "you didn't know how to order so you have to pay for it" I told her that's fine because it's the last dollar this restaurant will ever get from me. Even if the salad incident was miscommunication what restaurant charges a customer for a mistake? The proper response is "I'm sorry about that, would you like a different salad or I can take that off your bill" read more

I have enjoyed going to The Greek Grill for the past two years. It's always had a laid back feel, and the waitresses have always been nice and efficient. I'm not sure what's going on here lately, but their service has gone so far downhill, I'm not sure I'll return after leaving tonight without ordering. Why did I leave without ordering, you might be asking. Upon entering, a couple minutes passed, and I had to ask if I should just seat myself. It was not a good sign when I walked back to find that every table was dirty, and there were two tables waiting to order, and one table waiting for a bill. And still another person's order to take at the cash register. I waited approximately ten minutes. My table was never cleaned. The waitress came to the table next to mine and took their order, then walked away, ignoring me. I waited a while longer. But at some point, enough is enough, and I left to go get fast food--out of time for a real dinner. All this could have been avoided by having one more person on staff. A restaurant can't properly function with two employees, and that is how many employees have been working the last 3-4 times I've been in. When they're on their game, the food is good. When they're not, it's thrown together, or worse yet, you just never get to order. Hoping that, if I find myself in the mood for their Greek salad, service will have improved so I can raise their score. read more

The greek grill has the best lemon chick rice soup, homemade and delicious. My colleagues and I often order take out from the Greek Grill, we have never had to wait for our order, always ready for pick up in 10-15 minutes. A very basic menu, featuring pitas / wraps or salads with choice of sides. They have excellent gyros, the chicken delight is rather delightful, and the salads come in great portions. Fresh ingredients, made to order. Reasonably priced. They do have a dining room, however I've really only ever done take out. The dining room is a good size, and there's usually a pile of guests enjoying the grill. read more

Hands down our favourite Greek place in the city. We drive 20 minutes and go past at least a half a dozen other Greek restaurants. Everything looks like it's made fresh to order. We always order the same thing, 2 gyro and Greek salad dinners, the gyro meat is always so tender and it comes off of the gyro meat spinning thing right into the pita. The Greek salad is spectacular too. Their homemade Greek dressing is delicious which you can also get by the bottle. The best $12 meal in the city. The chicken delight has this heavy but delicious mayo like special sauce. It's great. We are from the USA, formerly Chicago, and this is the first Greek restaurant that we've been to in Windsor that actually serves GOOD and authentic Greek food. My wife and I found the Greek Grill by accident last night. Huge carry out business, nice seating area too. Great food and service and full bar service. We'll be back many times when visiting family nearby. Back again for dinner on May 12, 2017. Excellent service and excellent Greek food. We'll be back again! This is one of my favourite wrap places in Windsor! It's not authentic Greek food though, just mostly wraps, salads and burgers. The prices are good and the food is delicious. I love the chicken delight pita, the Greek salad and the soup. They really don't cheap out on the toppings which is nice. The meat is high quality and cooked to order. I've always enjoyed this place as their food is good - if they actually get your order right! I can bank on it being made wrong more often then not and I'm by no means a picky orderer. Basic things like no dressing with a greek salad, or no greek fries order at all when it was ordered. After a while this has gotten extremely frustrating and to boot we have never been apologized to or reimbursed for some of the major screw ups. After a dozen+ messed up orders, I'd appreciate that. read more

I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant today, I went in for lunch. The store only seats about 50 people. They were definitely in the weeds, our food took approx. 35 mins. Then when we received our food (we all ordered sides of greek salad with our wraps), my friends fiance made remark that her salad tasted like soap...we dismissed her lol. After a bunch more bites she insisted that we try her salad to verify she wasn't crazy. Turns out she was right I was eating the same salad, and there was a serious soap taste. Kinda like a windex or a hand soap. My issue is not the soap....I mean thats gross, but I have been in the industry for 15 years. Mistakes happen. My friends fiance told the front desk attendant, and there was a lack luster, apology. Followed by an I am sorry "he" then she pointed at the owner, says you have to pay for everything.... Customer service goes along way.....She just got a chemical of some sort in her salad. This is appalling, the kicker is, that she has now went to emerge just to get checked out.....who wouldn't after ingesting soap or any chemical....who knows what kind of chemicals are used in kitchens if you have never worked in one. I would suggest if you are going to eat here. Don't expect any sort of compassion if you have an issue with your food. read more

We came in and there was no regular height tables that was cleaned for us to sit our family of 5. A waitress offered the bar table, because a table at the back wasn't cleaned yet. She offered to clean it for us but not after she took a tables order, brought food to two tables and served a walk-in after us. Finally she cleaned the table and were sitting there ready to order for 20 mins and she finally comes to our table only to tell us the food will take 30 mins to come to our table. She could have mentioned this before she sat us down, better yet when she first greeted us to see if we were dining in. Instead she made us wait with three kids who's ready to eat after figuring out what we wanted from the menu. The worse customer service! Next time let your customers know ahead of time whether or not you can serve them under 15 mins, instead of seating them down and making them wait 20 for food that won't be served for another 30 mins. A not so fancy Greek restaurant takes an hour to be served? That's a joke! read more
