The customer service is really terrible! we brought in a 3 piece suit to be cleaned. I didn't realize there was a stain on the shirt. It looked like a burn mark when we received it back. It was never pointed out to me - only discovered when the shirt was needed. The owner asked me to bring the shirt back in. She was extremely rude. Argued about the number of items I brought in. She was very defensive. I was never rude or upset with her. I do not appreciate the attitude and rudeness that she had with me. I know she doesn't care that we won't be back, but I am making sure to tell others to go anywhere else. read more

Brought my daughters homecoming dress to be cleaned and when we got it back the dress was destroyed. The majority of the bodice beading has been melted and discolored along with sequins being completely melted off and leaving the fabric stained. I was told by the owner that it was too bad for me, it wasn't her fault, the dress was cheap and she isn't responsible for sequins and beads. I would be more understanding to a few sequins missing and a loose bead or 2, but to claim to be professional and destroy a dress to the point that it is unuseable and be so callous and condescending and not owning up to your huge mistake is unconscionable. They didn't even bother to call me in advance to tell me there was a problem, nor did they offer to refund even the cost of the cleaning itself. The owner of this company just doesn't care. I went to 2 other dry cleaners in the area to ask what they thought could have happened and was told that it was clearly processed on too high of heat. The dress is a Mori Lee 9231 that cost $226. The tag on the dress says Dry Clean Only, Low Temperature, Short Cycle. Do not give this company your business for if they screw up they will not be responsible business owners. read more

I took my daughter's choir dress here to get hemmed. They were the fastest and least expensive. The last was very nice. I know this was a simple alteration but it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Previous years I had her choir gowns altered and cleaned at other tailors and the cost was much higher. read more

I have been coming here for years and everything was fine before this incident. I brought 2 pairs of brand new pants to be hemmed. When I went back to pick them up they still were not done. In the mean time I brought her another pair of brand new pants, which I did not received a ticket for. She said she added it to the other two pants order that were not finished being hemmed. Prior to this I had brought an older pair of pants for cleaning and instead of giving me three new pairs she replaced the older pair with one of the new pairs that was never returned to me by mistake.Instead of fixing her mistake I got attitude and told I was wrong. I came here because they work on the students Lettermen jackets and I figured I should go where everyone else does. Big mistake, they didn't know where to put my son varsity letter... Once figuring that out I gave them a week to put it on, I went to pick it up and to My surprise it wasn't completed. I was told oh.... Sorry... Our "machine" broke. I asked why they didn't call me to inform me of the delay (25 minute round trip drive) and her response was sorry, I didn't think of that? I will never be back. read more

I went here to get a bridesmaids dress altered. She also was going to put some pads in so I didn't have to wear a bra. I gave her the package and told her they were gel-filled so to be careful, but they were maid to put in formal dresses. Well she calls me 2 days prior to the wedding and tells me she pierced the pad and it leaked all over my dress and she wasn't sure she could get it off. She finally called me back friday afternoon to tell me the stain is out and she put new pads in which I had to purchase). The altering looked terrible. The slip was too long and you could see it, the chest was baggy and uneven, and the pads in the chest were way too low. AND she charged us $65!! I will not be going back. read more

I really like Hampshire Cleaners. They are very friendly and provide good service. The tailored my suit pants perfectly. They always have my cleaning done in a short time. They are nice people. I even went with my son and he started asking questions about the machines so they gave him a tour. I am very surprised by any negative comments against them. My experience has been excellent!
