However, the manicure started chipping as soon as the next day. I am a week out from getting them done and I have to go into my salon and get them redone. It's hard to fully see in the picture but only half of the nails are still in good condition. Not common for dip manicures, and certainly not ideal considering the price.

Then some leg scrub and lotion, then a hot towel. Then proceeded to paint my nails. Unfortunately, he didn't paint the ends of the nails. And I didn't notice until I was ready to leave. So I painted them myself. When I went to pay, I was shocked to be charged $35. Online their prices stated $18 for a basic pedicure. So I was pretty disappointed. The technician spoke down to my daughter, telling her to "discuss pricing with her mom" as if we weren't prepared, and then flatly refused to do acrylics without any explanation. What made this worse was watching four walk-in customers receive acrylic services while we were there, all individuals who received just nail service (no pedicure) but were there far longer than my daughter and I, felt VERY RUSHED and UNDERVALUED. To top it off, the technician ground her nails down much shorter than she requested and rushed her through the process. Before payment was even rendered, he requested a tip. We paid and tipped to remain respectful in front of other clients, but my daughter left in tears feeling rushed and dismissed. I attempted to speak with the technician privately and called the salon today to resolve this, but I have received no apology or accountability. It is deeply upsetting to see a local business treat long-term clients this way during such a special occasion. We will not be returning.
