Have to post about how awesome my daughter's and my nails came out yesterday. We did both a pedicure & manicure and both got the dip on our nails & she got some extra nails art. Mabel did her nails and toes and is just awesome!! Tan did mine and did and great job too. I highly recommend this shop and normally see Boone who is so talented but was very pleasantly surprised by everyone's skill in this shop. Overall it was ok but calling and making an appointment for 2 people for 11 o'clock and then not starting on only just one of us until 11:20 set the tone for the appointment. We sat with our feet in the water for over 15 min before being even started. My sisters pedicure didn't begin until 11:45. We were never asked what kind of pedicure we wanted either. So I opted for a plain pedicure as it was half way through that I realized it was too late to even ask for a spa pedicure. It was very basic and all the nail technicians were juggling many people and that's not good practice. My sisters Polish color was put on and she realized it wasn't the right color! The very distracted nail tech just grabbed the one left from previous customer and applied it. Was too late and too aggravated to change so she just kept it on. On vacation and really was looking forward to having a nice pedicure and this was just so-so. read more

I recently got a fill here by an older woman named LIN. I showed her a picture of the type of french manicure I wanted. The shape of the line was NOT what I wanted but at the very least it wasn't too thick. From behind the plexiglass window it seemed to be going ok until I was done and upon closer inspection i noticed there was white polish smeared all over the nail bed on all of my nails. I brought it to the shops attention and the agreed to fix my polish the following day. I come in, the next day to get my polish fixed and LIN proceeds to tell me that she will only be fixing my thumb. i try to explain to her that it's all of them and she is now raising her voice at me and grabbing my hand super aggressively telling me that my nail is lifted. Just being super rude and making a scene in front of the all the patrons. I never raised my voice or was rude to this woman and was met with disdain and disrespect. $55.00 later I've still got terrible gel polish which I'm now going to have to pay SOMEONE else to remove because I'm NEVER coming back to this place again. 10/10 do not recommend LIN. Maybe the other techs are not rude but the fact that it was allowed to escalate that far is more than enough for me. read more

I had a great time at this salon! I went in for a dip manicure and a classic pedicure. I had an appointment for 3 o'clock and only waited a few minutes to be seated after I chose my colors. The staff was very friendly and I thought my technician paid close attention to my toes, which I always appreciate. The massage is my favorite part of a pedicure and it was very relaxing! My dip manicure was fantastic and not rushed in any way, but still timely. She gave me exactly the shape and design I was asking for! I made an another appointment before I even left. Tip for out of Towners: if you're used to fabulous nails, don't come here. I can't speak for regular mani/ pedi but a fill should be avoided. Heed mine and Elizabeth G's warning. The polish selection was good- OPI, China Glaze, Lechat, and Essie. Prices are reasonable. 6 techs working when I arrived at 12:23 w an appt and still waited another 20 min before I was seated. My tech was friendly- but It just seemed she was lacking experience. when I tried to tell her the nail shape I liked and she couldn't get it, I asked to show her and she gave me this are you kidding me look. Don't you want the customer to be happy? I dislike when i feel uncomfortable because you just want to do it your way. Am I not the one paying for the service? Long story short and a bad experience in my fill, I ducked out before it was done (after an hour of being there) because I had to drive 30 min back. She did offer to have me come back to finish but I wasn't convinced driving 40 miles RT (60 min) was on my agenda. She wanted to charge me $23 because of the 3 repairs (1 of which I had to ask her to redo because it was crooked. She did) I told her I'd pay for 1/2 the cost as a courtesy and attempted to share my experience with her but rather than being objective and accepting feedback as a business (it's not always going to be awesome), she wanted to argue with me and let me know it was my fault for not telling her before she started how I wanted the shape of my nails. That wasn't the only thing that wasn't great. Don't make it worse by arguing for your $18. A photo shows all. Minus the interaction. read more

My daughter and I have had multiple pedicures here however our pedicures today will be our last. I paid $85 for a rushed, 25-minute pedicure with gel. My daughter (who is 7) was $50 for them to trim her nails and paint (no lotion, massage, etc). To top it off the girl did her toes, then took another customer, and THEN did her fingernails. I LOVE having pedicures and will gladly pay $135 for quality and attentive customer service but will not pay that for the service I received today. This salon is super convenient however I will be driving out of my way to find better customer service moving forward. read more

My mom and I have given this place too many chances. This is the third time we've had an appointment and come in and had to wait 45 minutes for a 25 minute pedicure. I am taking a break from work for this appointment so I don't expect to be there for an hour and a half and They don't say anything to us to apologize for the wait or any sort of explanation so there's no point in even making an appointment, but we will be finding a new salon from now on. read more

Just search for Lowes Food Store and its just next door!* One of the very few salons I've found that are open on Sunday! They were very kind, the prices are very reasonable and they did a great job! I only have time for a pedicure once in a blue moon. Today I requested a 'classic pedicure' which is the cheapest option at $25. The tech kept asking me about gel polish and I thought he was just confirming which polish I was choosing. He did a decent job although I prefer more dead skin sloughing and less massaging. He charged me $45. When I got home I was wondering why the up-sell so I went back. When I explained I didn't know about the additional charge for gel (this was my first gel pedi) he immediately apologized and offered to refund the $20. He went to get it out of his tip jar, but his boss stopped him. After some discussion, she came and insisted this was my fault. At this point I am worried about getting him in trouble. When I suggested a $20 refund or a gift certificate, she insisted that I have him remove the gel and put on regular polish. Which seemed like a big waste of both our time. I reminded her that I had the option of posting negative reviews but I had come in to give them a chance to make it right. There was no acknowledgement that this was an honest mistake, and no indication that it is a good idea to make sure customers know what everything costs in advance. I repeated my request and she just stared at me. Not so much as a faux apology was offered. I thanked him for a job well done and for attempting to make it right. I suppose it is possible there is a big racket in customers going in and scamming them out of a free gel polish so they must guard against it. If that is the case, they should guard against it with better communication. I went to the "customer is always right" school of business myself, and unless I see a frequent flyer taking advantage of me, that is how I roll. read more

I haven't had a professional pedicure since the week before my baby girl was born, almost 9 months ago! Just came in to Passion Nails this morning for the first time, and it was perfect. Called ahead just to make sure I could be seen, and I was told to come on down. Beautiful, clean, place with a relaxed feel. La was the young lady who did my pedicure and eyebrow wax and she did an amazing job. I'd hesitated to find my "nail place" for so long...but this will be my "place" from now on. read more

Went in for a gel mani/pedi with gel already on. The manicurist started filing my long round nails down to short and square. I left with gel over my cuticles which started peeling on the way home. I canceled the pedicure while my nails were being finished. Would not recommend. read more

They took my family late one day, then turned them away the next time. Law was very rude and was too eager to go out that night and turned away customers that were waiting. The previous visit was bad as well, repeatedly squeezed and left two nails crooked on my grandmother's same hand. When we were leaving we saw the same stylist leaving in her car. So she was clearly in a rush and did a horrible job. No refund or fixing of the nails. We will never visit this place again. read more

Just went to Passion Nails for the first time today. It just opened within the last two weeks. The girls working there are SUPER friendly and welcoming. The place is very professional and incredibly clean. I believe they offer pedicures, manicures, and waxing. I got a pedicure with Mona who did a great job, taking her time and not skimpy on details which I have had happen at other places. I brought my sister here for a manicure and pedicure after she had been ill for quite some time. The staff were very friendly and extremely gentle with my sister. They took their time and modified their technique to ensure that her experience was comfortable. I like that they soak off the gel nails instead of scraping!
