Bravo, HBCB! Attended the Jo Dee Messina concert last night and had a great time! The line to get in moved incredibly quick, there was staff everywhere helping people find their seats. I was VERY pleasantly surprised by the new(to me) massive fans on the ceiling, I'm always hot, but not last night! I've attended a show or two there in the past when it was sweltering hot and unenjoyable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Badfish concert was so fun. Ive seen many great concerts here. Security is hit or miss. Sometimes theyre jerks, sometimes theyre ok. Venue has a smoking area outside down a staircase. Weird no drinks in the bathrooms policy but literally no where to set down a drink besides the dance floor. Very odd setup. No free parking options that i know of.

Husband & I went to see the AC/DC Experience last night. This was our first time at the Casino Ballroom. It is very organized! Staff are guiding you through entering so you know exactly where to go. There are plenty of staff also helping with finding your seats. The seats are not your typical metal fold downs, they are nice & padded (not that you'll be sitting once the show starts!) amazing fog/lights for the show. Food & drinks are available. We only got a Diet Coke while there & it was $6. They sell merch as well. Two exits to leave. Also parking behind the casino was $20. Overall great experience & we will now look for more shows to see there!

Aaron Lewis state I'm in tour.

This was the seat I paid $240 per v.i.p ticket to see Aaron Lewis tonight, and never actually got to see him perform due to the audience that stood through the entire performance. I am extremely unhappy with this venue, my wife and I asked staff members if they can assist in our troubles and they basically told us there was nothing that can be done. I will never attend this venue In this lifetime again. If I could give them 0 stars out of five I would have.

Ask the Community - Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom

I have tickets for Thursday night...i got GA tickets and am hadicapped with a cane and can only stand for small periods of time....does GA mean standing?

It did at the concert I was at last week. There are limited tables in the back. I would call the venue and check with them if there are other options

Is the entire venue non smoking inside?

I see a show coming up that is general admission and states standing room only does that mean you stand through the whole show?

Pretty much. Unless you can grab an unoccupied seat after the show starts.

I can only imagine how packed this place gets during the summer. Anyways, service was great. Both bartenders were friendly and one offered a marker + tape so we could hang our dollar bill on the ceiling. As for the food... IMO it wasn't up to par with the Manchester location but still good. The nacho appetizer was disappointing as the pulled pork on top was lukewarm and there was hardly cheese/toppings under the top layer. My BLT and fiancés burger were both good. Fries perfectly crispy. This is probably one of the better (if not the best) place to have a meal at Hampton Beach.

I lived 7 1/2 years in Louisiana and even worked for 2 1/2 years at the legendary Ralph & Kacoo's, so I have been searching for years for Cajun food as good as I enjoyed back then. I have eaten at every so called Cajun Restaurant in NH, ME, MA, and RI. North of NOLA and Big Mamou in Springfield MA are the only two that could be served in Louisiana . I started if with an Abita Purple Haze (beer). I was worried it might be a little stale, but it was fresh and tasty. My wife had a hard Southern Peach Tea. It was delicious as well. On to the food: We started with a bowl of seafood gumbo. It was very thick, not watery, and had lots of shrimp, crab, crawfish, and okra. 10 of 10 and the hit of the night. I will return just for the gumbo. My wife got the Zydeco Pasta for her meal. Not too spicy and full of flavor. Maybe a tad to much andouille, but 7 of 10. I got the Crawfish Etouffe. A little mild for my taste but delicious. 8 of 10. We also got a Blackened Fish Bites appetizer with our meals. I wish it was catfish, but they used Haddock. It was perfectly spiced and delicious. 8 of 10. Would be 10 of 10 if they used wild caught catfish. For dessert we got Beignets and coffee. The beignets were dreamy. 9 of 10. All in all it was an amazing experience and we will make the drive again soon.

While Smuttynose doesn't have a cat (that I'm aware of), we were pleasantly surprised to meet the resident good boy, a black lab named Willy! What a treat. He is so friendly and freely roams the bar and beer garden. Cute pup aside, I love their facility. The outdoor area hosts a variety of seating options, including my personal favorite: adirondack chairs. This place would be an ultimate summer hang if I lived closer! You don't even have to go inside to order a beer - just walk up to the order window. I tasted their fall offers: Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Ale. I thoroughly enjoyed both, even purchasing a variety pack to trek home with me that included both the Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Ale. Their flagshop brown ale is called Old Brown Dog, and when we visited, they had a stronger version on tap - Very Old Brown Dog. The Very Old Brown Dog is one of the better strong beers I've tasted in some time. Definitely a sipper, especially if you're driving - but boy, it was smooth and very tasty in spite of it's sub 10% abv. The tasting bar is no frills at it's core, but clean bathrooms, fun merch, and good beer are flowing. There are some snacky foods available for purchase, but their restauarant is just across the parking lot if you're seeking a substantial meal. Lots of parking, great outdoor gathering space, smaller indoor seating area - would be great for summer hangs. Lots of tasty beer and a good doggy await. Smuttynose is one of my favorite breweries I've visited in recent memory.
