We will not return! Beer is just cans and drinks are served in tiny 10oz solo cups. A margarita should be served in a glass, any kind of glass! Not a cheap $0.05 plastic cup!! Drinks should be served in glasses! I've never been so unimpressed by a bar! The food is also just basic frozen fried food that needs to be heated up. We definitely won't recommend this place. Solid dive bar. Staff seem to love their job! Large portions. Patio with picnic tables, a dozen or so bar stools, and inside bar stools. That unicorn is really weird though and so we sat outside even though it was chilly. If you like fried jalapeños or pickles, get. The. Friend. Banana. Peppers. I want these babies everywhere. A whole basket comes with some kind of ranch sauce. The veggie burger is black bean based and the binding is textured like pink meat. My company got the fish and chips/fries. The fish was "okay" and the fries were eh. The burger comes with fries but I passed and got a $6-7 "side salad". At first I was rolling my eyes at the price but then at least two cups of assorted mixed greens found itself in front of me. Good to share, but I eat my greens. I ended up putting the burger on the salad and even some fried banana peppers. I also asked for the Boom Sauce because I'm radically curious; it was worthwhile but probably doesn't go on everything, although I put it on everything. Great beach meal! The above comments went into the rating equation. Comments on (healthy) veg options/menu: if you're good with a bean bean salad, then this is fine. I wish they would offer more variations like they do with the other takes, or a "sub veggie" note. They seem small and accommodating but I'm not sure how they would be if it was weekend busy. Been coming to this place every 4th of July for years now enjoying fun times with friends and this place is one of my favorites. Just discovered they also serve food and it does not disappoint! Had a delicious breakfast sandwich called The Haystack is a delicious crescent sandwich with eggs, bacon hash browns, and hollandaise sauce... Awesome!!! And their lobster roll is also amazing!!! Definitely have to stop in if your in Hampton Beach. read more

Rude and stupid bartender who insisted on charging us the price for an imported beer when two of us got Sam Adams and one of us got a SummerShandy. Bartender insisted they are imported and we had to be charged for import and not domestic. Obviously he doesn't know what domestic means. When I asked for receipt he could only email me one--I couldn't get one there. This place is more than a dive--it overcharges and has moron bartenders who don't have a courteous word to say. I absolutely love this place. The outdoor patio is awesome in the summertime under the cabanas and the staff always make sure everyone is having a good time. I'm obsessed with bleu cheese and its homemade here and unreal. I get the take-out at least twice a week. Drink specials on the regular too. Only bar of its kind on Hampton Beach. read more
