This property has a predatory business practice related to short-term parking. I was informed by…read morethe front desk I could have my car in front of the hotel while checking-in and dropping my baggage in my room. Three weeks after departing, I received a bill for £100. This is an outrage, as I was given the impression from the hotel staff it was acceptable. Based on other online reviews and from talking to a manager at the hotel, this is a frequent problem for guests. This practice is predatory and could be easily resolved via improved signage and clearly informing guests that they will be fined if their car is in the parking area for more than 30 minutes (apparently they use cameras to monitor entry/exit from the open parking lot, and there are no gates to make it clear you have entered a restricted area). As a result, just waiting in my car outside the hotel for my wife to freshen up was counted as 'parking'. If they had entry/exit gates it would be clear, otherwise they must inform guests that any time spent in front of the hotel is considered 'parking'. I will update this review if the hotel resolves this issue.

Having grown up in South Queensferry, this pub has been a part of my childhood dragging my Dad out of there when dinner was ready! As well as my adult life, I enjoy a good pint in there. They serve various beers and ciders at reasonable prices (approx £3 a pint). You can have various shots also if you wish. They have a pool table, seating area, TV and at weekends often a disco in the back. A great atmosphere for locals and visitors and the staff will make you feel welcome. The Stag Head is also a Hotel with various standards of rooms, some with en-suite. Great transport links to Edinburgh being just off the bus route and a 20 minute walk to Dalmeny train station which sits just before the World Heritage renowned Forth Rail Bridge. Excellent airport hotel!…read more Its just a few minutes drive/taxi ride from this fresh new Premier inn to Edinburgh Airport Terminal! The hotel has got everything you'd expect of a new Premier Inn including the comfiest of beds, a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner and cosy bar with free wifi. Actually the whole hotel has excellent free wifi. The staff are lovely, there is plenty of car parking right outside, and despite being at the end of the runway we didn't have our sleep disturbed. We could hear the planes until they stopped for the night, but the well glazed and soundproofed rooms (with excellent air conditioning) reduced the noise sufficiently for a good slumber. Premier Inn Edinburgh Airport Hotel is easy to find just off the main road on the west of the city. Its neatly tucked in at the end of the runway next to a number of premium brand car showrooms. Very convenient spot!

And, to be fair to the staff they were friendly and efficient. Our twin rooms (why twin, we are two couples?) we're a little sad and, well, little. Beds were moderately comfortable but the main barrier to sleep was the constant noise of the other guests milling around in the corridor outside, banging the doors and speaking loudly. At least the rooms were clean. The hotel's restaurant was surprisingly good, though. I don't think there is much choice if you're looking to stay at Edinburgh Airport but, if you're in any doubt, try the Hilton up the road. Didn't stay there and can't be sure it's any better - but at least its name doesn't have you thinking about calling Trading Standards.

Upon requesting a change to tomato due to the vomity consistency and chunderous smell, we were informed there would be another 20 minute wait. For one bowl of soup. What were the chefs doing? Growing and then pureeing tomatoes from scratch?! Anyway. This place is not for me.
