This place is okay, it just might depend on if you like dosas, as we realized we didn't! We much preferred the BLTA sandwich! Nicely toasted and flavorful. The dosa got a bit one-note.

We don't get dosas in Hawaii and this is one of my sister's favorites. The breakfast dosa with egg was beautiful and savory with eggs, spinach, and avocado. The turkey dosa was so juicy and cheesy. You can select your choice of chutney. We had the peanut butter and curry. So many layers of flavor! You have to try the cardamom coffee . Serious wow factor. And for dessert, the soft serve will not disappoint! Get the Oreo cookie topping sure to make you smile. I will dream about this place when I'm back home.

This is Sir Paul McCartney's favorite place to eat in the Hamptons. This is also my favorite place to eat in the Hamptons. Any place that works for a vegetarian Beatle works for me :-) You can't go wrong with the dosa crepes. I got the Breakfast Dosa Crepe stuffed with scrambled eggs, spinach, sun dried tomato, and avocado. The secret is always in the sauce, so be sure to pick the chutney condiments very carefully; they have a smorgasbord of chutney offerings here! I like East Hampton more than South Hampton and West Hampton because of the Hampton Chutney Company, the Naturopathica Spa, and the Loewe bag store. Had to drool at the Loewe Puzzle bag, in the Loewe store, which I like so much more than the Polene store in Manhattan (I find Polene handbags boring), but not as much as I love the Celine store in Paris (love my little black Celine Triomphe Classique bag, which was actually designed in California by Celine's current creative director, and not in France). The Oat Chai hit the spot!

First time trying dosas and it was delicious!!! I got the seasonal and added portobello mushrooms. The dosas are pretty big which is nice because you can share them. I got my order to go but the restaurant was cute inside. The staff was so friendly and I definitely recommend this place for a quick and easy bite.

Service was a bit hit or miss depending on the person taking your order. I guess that's just the Hamptons way. Ordered the masala deluxe and. Orange blossom lemonade. The dosa was light and tasty, the filling sadly was very monotone and whatever boxed spice they used really came across in a heavy aftertaste. The chutney- I ordered mango and paid extra for the cilantro. Again the flavors were lacking they both tasted as if the mango and cilantro were an after thought. Orange blossom lemonade did not taste like anything special. Do yourself a favor; go to Jackson heights queens or even Murray hill in the city and get yourself a proper dosa.

Food was great, could have used a little more spice and heat. We went to the Southampton location. The staff was very kind and courteous, place was quaint and clean. We got the mushroom, pickled onion, spinach and goat cheese Dosa with the vegetarian Thali. I thought the thali would be in an actual steel thali with all the the usual accoutrements. Was a little disappointed that it came in a paper plate without the achaar, sambar, and other small sides with the main. The oat chai was delicious! Overall great experience, will come back to try the other Dosa combinations!

How about a masala dosa in the vicinity of Montauk NY? Well this is the spot. Sat outside in the sun on picnic tables & enjoyed a good Dosa & chai. Food is good but the ambiance is definitely the draw here.

Delicious! Healthy and full of flavor. Menu has many choices. Vegetarian and protein. Three flavors of lassi drinks today. Mango, watermelon and strawberry. Food was just delicious!

Another amazing dinner at The Curry Queen last night. I have a hard time remembering all the names,…read morebut we had an appetizer of vegetables fried in chick pea coating (Podolak?). It was sumptuous and delicious. For dinner, we had the garlic nan, which is always great, Vindaloo with shrimp, and Chettinad with Chicken. All amazing. The food is always freshly prepared, quiet, comfortable ambience, and excellent service. The owner/Cook, Nalini, pours her heart and soul into her grandmother's traditional recipes that have been passed down to her. A wonderful. Interesting person as well. Some history: I have eaten at probably 3 Indian restaurants in my life before discovering The Curry Queen. None of them caught my interest - I just didn't get it. But I like Thai curry, so we stumbled into the Curry Queen several years ago. OMG, the combination of spices is so interesting and tasty, the meat is lean, the menu is broad and varied, and vegetarian dishes are endless and delicious (I'm not vegetarian). It is a consistently wonderful experience. Shocking to find this in Old Saybrook. CT! The closest thing I've found to this level is an Indian restaurant in Northern Wales two years ago. If you're in CT, don't miss a chance to try The Curry Queen!
