Some of the best Indian food I've ever had. I was starving and ordered delivery from here late at night on a Tuesday, and was shocked and amazed at how good everything I ordered was. The chana masala here is just the right amount of spice and so, so flavorful, it's like a party in your mouth. Even the rice I ordered to pair with it was cooked perfectly. I also tried the chicken momos which were steamed just right, not over done, not underdone, just perfect. The dipping sauce that this came with was also unreal, I would have been happy with just the sauce honestly. The roti I ordered was a bit underwhelming, next time I order I'm going to try the garlic naan instead. The price point is a little high but hey, you're in the Hamptons. I came here with some friends on a weeknight. I had called prior because we were going to arrive 30 minutes before they closed and they said it wouldn't be a problem. We were seated promptly and ordered right away since we all knew what we wanted to eat. I had the Chicken Makhni and thought it was really good and went perfectly with their garlic naan. The food and ambiance is nice, however, the service is terrible. My group ordered mango lassis and sodas, and some of the lassi from one glass overflowed and got into the sodas, but the restaurant just overlooked it. We stayed past closing time since we had arrived late, and the chefs/servers were mean mugging us while we were still eating. Very rude behavior from their staff. Took drive to Saaz to try their lunch buffet. Despite the 45 minute drive, good Indian food is hard to come by in Eastern Suffolk so definitely worth the trip. I took advantage of the buffet,which included Goat Curry and BJ ordered Ala cart . She wanted lamb which was not on buffet menu which changes daily. Food was plentiful and well prepared . They even chopped hot green peppers for me to spice up my goat! Service was excellent and friendly. You can call and they will tell you buffet menu that day. We are from England so know a good Indian. This is amazing. We have visited three times in 7 days. They have an all you can eat buffet for $24 every day 12-3. The chicken tikka masala is the best I've ever had. My husband had a vegetable curry and it was delicious. Naan breads and onion kulcha are delicious too. We sat at the bar both times. Eman is the best bartender. He makes the best Margaritas I have had. If you go and order one. Say Wendy says hi. We met Sam the owner on our 3rd visit and he was the nicest guy. Staff is low key and helpful. Lunch buffet's let you sample their variety of items - they change items often so it's not the same. Dinner is regular menu. Excellent Indian cooking. Love the Dosa and curries more then the kababs, but the mixed grill is much fun. We always sit near the fireplace in the winter for lovies' cold sensitivity. The top notch service starts at the door, we were greeted (with a handshake!) and had a pleasant conversation with, who I am assuming is an owner if not, that is even more impressive. He brought us to our table, and drinks were followed quickly. The staff were extremely attentive, and when they brought out the orders, they already knew which order went to whom, attention to detail like that gets me giddy. The food came out in good cadence, and was the perfect temperature. The presentation was decent, portion size was spot on. Each entree dishes was about 2 servings. It was good for sharing dishes. The restaurant is clean, low lit, great for an intimate dinner. Decor is classy but not ostentatious. Sound level was low, the decor and layout helps with keeping conversations private. Once again attention to detail. With tip the meal came out to $40, considering all the above, the quality of the menu and location, this Friday night out was a very good value! Paneer Makhni - the flavors are bursting with tomato and curry goodness. The cheese cubes are well made and goes well with the scrumptious curry. You can try it with the raita yogurt. Chicken Vindaloo - very good flavors! It's not too spicy. We asked for more spices. They gave it on the side. Overall, great dish. Fresh chicken. Chili Cheese Naan - Must try!!!! It has cheesy opening inside which went so well with the curries. It came out hot and fresh. Melty cheese. The crackers on the table was really delicious. I love the tamarind and mint chutneys. You can taste the freshness. The reason I gave it a four star instead of five is because of the dessert. The waiter said the flourless chocolate cake is to die for. He was wrong. They have lovely soups, lightly fried chickpea, coated vegetables, at least two vegetarian dishes, and standards like chicken, tikka masala and goat curry. There's usually kebabs at the end and a dessert like pudding. The naan bread is excellent and plentiful. Highly recommended. read more

This is one of the best restaurants in the Southampton area. The chicken biryani is particularly good, and the vindaloo has a wonderfully bold flavor. The food is not nearly as spicy as Indian restaurants in many parts of the United States, but everything tastes very fresh, so there is something here for everyone to enjoy. If you order shrimp, you'll get several large, juicy, tender shrimp; it's probably their best protein. The service is exceptional. You will get your food quickly and be attended to frequently by friendly staff. The decor is tasteful, clean, and warm. Saaz doesn't have the best Indian food I've ever had (I wish the chicken and beef were slightly more tender and juicy), but I'm giving them five stars because the quality and quantity of food you get for what you spend cannot be matched by any dinner restaurant within miles. I'm currently visiting Sag Harbor with my wife for a few months, and we are generally disappointed with how much money we have to spend for a decent meal. I love Indian food and I'm always excited to try new places. That being said I know that Saaz has been a staple spot that I hadn't gotten the chance to visit. I ordered takeout via Uber eats. I got the lamb rogan josh, mango lassi, naan, basmati rice, and meat samosas. I'm surprised that the rice isn't automatically included in the cost of the lamb rogan josh but that's minor. So overall thoughts on the food... The lamb rogan josh was delicious. The sauce was a little thinner than what I'm used to. The amount of meat for the portion was adequate. Overall a beautiful symphony of spices collided. The basmati rice was bland. Not really much flavor behind it. I know that it's a vessel for the curry but it didn't hit the spot. I've had much better rice at other places. Naan was perfect. No complaints on my end and the same applies to the samosas. They weren't oily and were perfectly seasoned. The mango lassi was the star of the show. Absolutely wonderful and a perfect way to wrap up dinner. I'd definitely order from here again! read more

I come to Hampton almost every week & every time I pass my I see this restaurant & this time I try to give it try. I was craving for Indian food & I have to tell you, complete waste on money. I took Mulligatawany soup & it had weird taste & smell. I tried chicken Manchurian, which I got charge $24 & there were only 2 pieces of chicken meatball & rest are just curry sauce. Chicken was so dry that you can hardly chew them. I get it that it's Hampton you want to charge top price but atleast food has to be decent but here food is horrible. I had to throw out my food & had to go somewhere else to eat. Definitely wouldn't recommend anyone. read more

So for the past two years I've been working in the East end and driving through sunrise I drove past Saaz several times and always thought about stopping by. The ambiance was beautiful, you walk in and they have beautiful art work from India and they're playing such peaceful music. After a long day of work my friend and I decided on getting dinner somewhere local and I told him that we should drive 25 mins east to Saaz. We both explored the menu and we were so excited to give it a try. Let me tell you, probably the BEST decision I made. We started off with the steamed chicken momos. You get an order of 8 and they were simply divine. Steamy delicious chicken, topped with beat chutney. You can't go wrong. I told my friend that I would be able to eat 3 orders of these, that's how good they were. For entrees we orders the butter chicken and the chicken Briyani. Listen folks PLEASE order the briyani and butter chicken SPICY. I promise you it's bearable it's not over powering. I have to give the chef a big hug and a kiss on the cheek because they absolutely prepared our meal with such great taste and most of all, it reminded us of our home cooking! The butter chicken is just this creamy, delicious curry house with tender, fully flavored and delicious chicken! Ugh you can't go wrong. The briyani packed a punch with its savory goodness of the chicken and the masalas used. Mix it all together and I promise you your tastebuds will thank you! By the way, the service was top tier! I would like to give my thank you to the manager who kept coming up to us and everyone else around to check up on us to see how our food came out because most restaurants do not do that and it was a PLUS that we received such great care. Read great reviews and were eager to eat there. Total disappointment. Soup and salad was delicious. I ordered flounder. Fish was not edible - scrap pieces mixed into curry. Husband had chicken-excruciatingly dry so asked for something to dip it into - they brought a yogurt dipping sauce. when waiter asked if I wanted to wrap the fish to go I said no as it was not edible. He just shrugged his shoulders. Bill came and charged for dipping sauce. $110 bill (no drinks or dessert). Left hungry. read more
