Finally stayed at really nice Hampton Inn. Been discouraged with other locations. This location was by far the best. This hotel is 3 years old and everything is new and super clean. Can honestly say it was as close to perfect as possible. If I had to critique the small things, a bit more water pressure in shower, a soft topper on bed, distracting smoke detector flashing light. My stay was super quiet, that's always welcome. The coffee was surprisingly good, not like other hotels. The breakfast food was well presented and looked appetizing. This will be my hotel if I should visit Cody again. read more

This hotel was super nice and was 5 stars in all categories. It was super new and the outdoor area was super nice. We had ate out for a couple days and it was super nice to use the grills and have a meal not fried. We used the grill equipment they provided and ate on the super nice patio. They had a big outdoor hot tub and a good pool and fitness center. We were super pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend this if you are looking to stay somewhere before heading into Yellowstone! read more

This is the most modern, most amazing Hampton Inn I have ever encountered. Everything is new and beautiful. The elevator talks to you. The room is able to be completely automated through your phone. You can set the temperature while you're out. The room was nicely furnished, well thought out, and spacious. There were plenty of lamps and USB ports. We had a nice view of the mountain from the 4th floor. The people were GREAT. Jess was super friendly and gave us local recommendations. I wanted to live there forever. read more

I booked a reservation while on the road through the app and we are diamond members the app charged our card for $193 and some change we finally get to the hotel and I tell the man at the desk I have a reservation he then prompts us to run our card for an additional $213 and some change which I found odd bc we've been staying in Hiltons/ Hamptons since Seattle WA and haven't had to run the card twice. We finally get in the room and it's a standard size king but it's hot as hell in the room so I turn the ac on (or so I thought) and turn it down to 68 degrees and I'm sitting there thinking it's still so hot in this room. So moral of the whole thing the ac didn't work so we were sweating all night long then to come find out our toilet doesn't even flush. I will say however the reason I'm giving to 3 stars is the breakfast was great. But I will not be coming back to this Hilton. read more

This is a great hotel to stay at when in Cody, WY. It's expensive during the tourist season but so is everything else in Cody. If you can go during the off season it's much more affordable. It's clean, very well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel! read more

in the manner of most Hampton Inns ( and we have stayed in dozens) the staff are not only not accomodating but border on outright hostile. For some odd reason they particularly dislike being told one is a Diamond Club member plus a team member( our status). Diamond Club status entitles the holder to an upgraded accomodation, if available. As a team member one expects a certain bonhome being " family". At Hilton International locations and other Hilton brands in the US, this recognition is the rule. However, at Hampton Inns it is the exception and at the property in Cody, Wyoming the tone of voice and unwillingness to recognize us was all too familiar. As a team member, I strive to remember we are in the Hospitality business. As a Diamond member I expect to be recognized as a valuable asset. In the case of Cody,Wyoming this is just not the case. read more

This place looks new and seemed clean. We'd been on the road for hours and were delighted that we could check into our room early. We did find coffee available every time we went by. Mornin breakfast was a bit challenging on our 2nd morning. There was no yogurt and it was awhile before the employee handling this refilled the coffee. Before she could even do this she was cleaning up spilled milk in a sizable area on the floor. She seemed harried but In her defense the Sisco delivery truck had just arrived and she was the sole person tryin to handle all of this. The hotel was at the corner of the main street through Cody. While temperature control was on the wall, it seemed not to want to hold a consistent temperature, ranging up to 4 degrees. The bed was comfortable but the pillows not so much. Still, this is a very personal thing and often a challenge as the seem too hard or too soft. read more

I recently stayed here during a business trip. I found the hotel staff to be friendly and super helpful especially the gentleman who managed the daily breakfast buffet. The hotel was clean, tastefully decorated and super quiet even though it appeared to be fully occupied. Would highly recommend it for both business and leisure travelers. read more

We were told at check-in that there would be coffee available and someone at the front desk 24 hours. At that time there was coffee in the lobby. When we returned after dinner their was coffee in the lobby. The next morning it was gone. There was no one at the front desk. The phone kept ringing an no one answered. After 20 minutes of waiting for someone to come to the front desk and wondering where the coffee was, I heard people making breakfast. I knocked on the door and asked for coffee. The man said I had to wait an hour until breakfast was served. I told him that when we checked in we were told coffee would be available 24 hours (as it always is in most of the hotels in which we stay). He said the regional manager changed that 2 weeks ago. I knew that was a lie as it was available all day, yesterday. I asked if those of us who were waiting could get a cup of coffee and he said, "No." and closed the door in my face. I know it's hard to find people who want to work right now. But, you need to train your employees and make sure they know how to treat paying customers. read more

The older, bald man at the front desk is the most unprofessional, disrespectful employee I've ever experienced in my life. Shook his head and scoffed at me numerous times for asking very general and basic questions. Asked if there was a side door and staircase for my pet and I. He said no. There is one. Shook his head at me when I walked in after being on the road exhausted for 18 hours. I know I didn't look the most reputable, but wow. I was raised to treat others with respect no matter what, this "man" thinks he can just shake his head at people that don't look like the type he is used to. Everything in the hotel was great, from other staff, cleanliness, and organization. If that man is working however, I would never tell anyone to pay $300-$400 for a room from this man with his nose in the air. read more

Stayed here in June. Hotel is new and clean. Breakfast had lots of options. Close to the nightly rodeo. Lots of fun things to do and see in town. Only issue we had was a grown family being obnoxious in the pool playing overzealously with a beach ball and taking up the entire pool with their game despite other families with small children wanting to swim. They had thick east coast accents so I am guessing they aren't use to country etiquette and thought the world revolved around them. Totally not the hotels fault. read more
