Upon checking in I was greeted by the front desk employee who spoke very little English. I did my best to use the few mandarin words I knew but somehow ended up ordering a family sized take out of general tso chicken. After getting my key, I walked up the stairs and was impressed by the cigarette scented aroma hovering through the hallway. As I jumped from one bed to another I was shocked with how springy they were. Reminded me of the mattress I lived on under the south fair bank bridge. I tossed and turned during the night trying to contain my excitement for the continental breakfast. In doing so my sheets came loose and that's when I saw it. A massive circular stain in a yellowish color. "Was it me?" I was perplexed. But my underwear was dry. I quickly covered it back up with the beautiful Egyptian cotton sheets and went back to sleep. My fridge was hot and my microwave was cold. For breakfast I heated up a bowl of oatmeal in the fridge. The TP was thin but not too rough. The soaps were made in Canada with Argan oil. I really enjoyed my stay. Will be back. 4 stars

Nice clean lobby with piano

There are several hotels in the area, but this one is the best value. We only needed a room for the night, so we weren't particular, but we didnt want a flea motel either. The Best Western Riverside Inn was perfect and suited all our needs just fine. Clean rooms and friendly staff. No unsavory characters; we felt safe at all times. I would stsy here again for sure.

Just an overnight stay. Over all staff was courteous. Room fairly clean, except dust on phone, clock and lamps. Beds comfortable, shower loud, and low had to lower head to rinse head, hair. Breakfast was good.

If your looking for somewhere clean and inexpensive to lay your head at for a night or two this hotel will definitely do. I mean It's no Four Seasons but you get what you pay for. My overall experience here was average. The front desk staff were very sweet and provided a excellent customer service experience for me. The room was nice and clean and super neat. I was actually surprised! I really didnt expect the hotel to be so nice on the inside since the outside looked like something out of a scary movie, but never judge a book by its cover. The hotel also has a pool.. Which i didnt really get a chance to check out but looking out the window it looked pretty nice. My only complaints would be i got stuck in a room where the AC didnt work that well so that definitely was in issue and also the smell of lingering smoke.. Yuck who wants to smell that all day.

We saw the 3.8 stars and didn't bother to read the reviews. After a long day of driving we checked in. Should have known better when I saw all the utility and other work trucks in the parking lot. They tend to not put their employees in the nicest places. Entered our room and we're greeted with a moldy musty smell. It was hot so I thought maybe it would go away if we turned the air on, which did help. Room looked decent. Newer beds and carpet , but the bathroom. YUCK. Shower looked marginal but I was hot, sweaty and tired. When I went to turn it off the tile literally fell off the wall. Looked under the soap dish and it was black. The worst bathroom I have ever paid to use. I wish zero stars was an option

I had a great experience here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was top notch. Usually continental breakfast is a waffle and cereal maybe a dry bagel but this had a full spread. View was nice. The dining area and front desk had a lot of charm as well

Roach!!!!

Pets are allowed in your room, but don't try going into the lobby with your pet. They aren't allowed. So much for 'pet friendly'.

Have you ever stayed somewhere that picked a theme and then committed to it with the enthusiasm of…read morea Baptist preacher on Sunday morning? That was this hotel. My bride booked it because it looked a little quirky online. I approached the whole affair with some caution. Lately, a few Marriott's hotels have developed the unfortunate habit of looking better on the internet than they do when you pull into the parking lot. I feared this might be another one of those adventures. I was wrong. The theme was Georgia peaches, and they carried that peach wagon all the way across the finish line. From the fresh peaches waiting when we arrived to the peach sangria offered at check-in, they never missed a note. It wasn't gimmicky. It was thoughtful. The place was spotless. The corridors were clean, the elevator corners were free of the dust bunnies that usually reveal a hotel's true character, and the room was cool, comfortable, and as clean as a grandmother's living room before company arrives. The peach-scented toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch, though they nearly had to compete with the professionalism of the staff. Everyone we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there--something that cannot be manufactured by a corporate training video. And then there was happy hour. My favorite hour. The rooftop bar was excellent, offering good drinks, good views, and a fine place to sit for a spell and watch the day wind down. When we left, I found myself doing something I don't often do with hotels these days: planning a return trip. I'd most definitely stay here again. Sometimes a place promises an experience. This one delivered it, peach by peach.

What really set this experience apart, though, was the people. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed. Hevert, the night manager, along with the security team, went above and beyond--sharing insights about the city and the rich history behind the building. That level of engagement makes a difference. We also had brunch at Loom, and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent, and Lucas at the bar crafted cocktails like a true professional--balanced, intentional, and memorable. Our server, Jay, was equally impressive. His demeanor, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made the experience even better. He's the kind of person you remember after you leave.

Room was nice, but did smell intermittently, which I believe came from the construction going on nearby/outside. Now for the pluses. Front desk staff were super nice and helpful. Concierge lounge was up and running. Loved the regular sized bottles of water. Staff there did a great job--cleaned tables and wiped them down. Location was convenient to a variety of places to eat near by. In general, I try to stay at places that don't charge for parking. You are already paying to stay there, so glad there was not any additional parking costs. Nice sized lot so it was awesome I didn't have to drive around and around looking for a spot to park. Did I say the staff was super nice? Well I am saying it again since it was refreshing to have folks who really seemed to do what they could to ensure you had a nice stay.. Room was clean. Towels were my favorite absorbent ones. Water pressure and temperature were on target. Nice long counter in the bathroom. Larger fridge in the room. Bed and sheets were comfy and inviting. Lots of outlets for charging your devices. Definitely more pluses than challenges!

And everyone understands that mechanical issues happen, but when I told the person at the desk (which required a trip downstairs because the phones in the room don't connect) they laughed it off without ever looking up at me. Their only comment was "there's a lot of that going around." Definitely not service or a facility worthy of the Marriott name.
