I had a great stay at this Hampton Inn and Suites. Comfortable hotel, updated inside and the staff was very nice during my short 1 night stay. I normally stay at Hilton properties when travel for work and I am often at a Hampton Inn and Suites. They normally have free parking as well as a decent free breakfast. Those are great perks, but beyond the freebies, Hampton's are normally clean and comfortable and more have been updated in recent years. I think for the price, the value that they have is excellent and hard to beat. The newly renovated locations a really nice. Another thing I look for when choosing a property to stay at is a nice gym, I won't stay at a hotel without a nice gym, it is important for me to be able to exercise while I am traveling. This location has a great gym, everything I need. Treadmills, elliptical machines, a full set of dumbbells, two benches (this is important, some places have only one and if there are others in the gym, you have to wait) they also have a Precor multi-function weight machine and a handful of medicine balls. This property is 4 floors for reference, if you are like me, I prefer to be on the top floor so people are not walking or making noises above me. They also have Amazon lockers at this location in case you need a package delivered while you are staying. Enjoy! read more

This was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've had in years. I originally booked a one-night stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Murrieta Temecula through Hotels.com. I called ahead to ask for early check-in, and instead of offering options or even basic courtesy, the front desk told me I'd need to book the night before if I wanted to guarantee a room would be ready early. No offer to pay a fee--just "book another night." So I did. I added the previous night through Hotels.com and was charged again. When I called the hotel to confirm, I was told that my second reservation didn't exist. The front desk employee, Geena, was incredibly rude, put me on hold for over 20 minutes, and laughed during our call. I also spent over 30 minutes in a Hotels.com chat trying to fix it. Still no resolution. Out of caution, I booked directly through Hilton a third time just to make sure I had a room when I arrived early the next day. When I showed up at 6:30 AM, I was given keys by a different staff member--Kelly--who told me that I was a "no-show" for the prior night. The night that Geena had me book so that I could arrive at 1 the next day. Who knows if Geena even knew what was going on because she also said she checked me in and Kelly said she did not. Kelly said "Oh, you just wanted early check-in?" YES, that's what I was trying to arrange all along. Instead, I was charged for three full nights, all because no one at the front desk could handle a simple request properly. Zero communication, zero accountability, and zero customer care. I always stay at Hamptons, and have stayed in the past at this location, spending thousands here. I will not stay here again in the future. First it took four trips up and down the floors when the key card would not work. The loose door handle of the first room would not open with each new key issued. It was about 80 degrees in the hallway as we made the trips back and forth until finally they switched our room when we showed the desk person the keys did not work on a video. Our room had mouse droppings, and was very dirty. There was food from the last guests in the room and hairs on the linens, floors and tub. Something with sharp small teeth had chewed the entire back of the chair in the room. Just when we thought our bad stay was ending we went to our car and it was infested with Argentine ants, thousands of them. The hotels exterminators had to come fog our car and we were stuck for four hours waiting for the poison to work, and then clean the car as the pest company recommended, since we had three young children with us. After leaving five hours late for our 12 hour drive and the expenses of having our car exterminated and cleaned, the dirty room, a mouse and horrible experience, the Manager and employees would not honor any guarantees or issue any credits or refunds. Stayed here for a recent work event at one of the nearby wineries. Check in was fast &easy. The room was well appointed, the wall paper was my fav (I tried to get a pic but it didn't do it justice), bed was comfy with plenty of pillows. Shower had good water pressure, towels were on the small side. I was on the 4th floor and didn't hear any noise during my entire stay. Continental breakfast was all carbs, waffles, bananas, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, coffee & juice. There was plenty of food and seating options. Check out was also easy, staff was friendly. We were offered waters at check in and check out. Staff was wearing masks, but not required of guests (recommended if not vaccinated). Location is very close to wineries. The place looks nice, clean, and rooms are fine. But the walls are super thin. You can hear the tv in the next room, people talking next door, and random loud banging noises from somewhere. We're using a sound machine and it's doing nothing to drown out all the noise. read more

Overall this place was very spacious and close to where we wanted to go. The room has a microwave, a fridge, a safe. The room also has a sofa for extra seating and desk chair.They have free continental breakfast. The place appeared to be clean we did pack some pool gear but didn't get a chance to check it out. The place wasn't too noisy. My only complaint would be that they don't provide shampoo/ conditioner for guests. All they provide is lotion/ and body wash. That would've definitely been great to know. This was not my first time staying at this hotel. In January 2025 shortly after I got to my room I called the front desk to let them know the toilet was not properly flushing. I was shocked when I was asked if I wanted to switch rooms. Nobody wants to stay in a room with a toilet not working, of course I wanted to switch rooms. I was then advised to bring my bags down and she would put me in another room. Again poor logic, why would I want to haul my bags down, just to have to haul them back up to another room. I'm sorry if the toilet in your hotel was not working, it was not my fault. I went to the lobby, without my bags, received my new room assignment and switched rooms. read more

After a weekend stay, there's good news and bad news. (Based on my own personal experience) The good news: Clean Friendly staff Safe area (near a nice neighborhood and a plethora of medical buildings) Good amount of towels in the room Free breakfast The bad news: Called ahead of time and asked for a room on the top floor considering every time I stay at a hotel the people staying above us stay up late and wake up early. They said no problem, a room on the fourth floor would be ready, even before our check-in time at 3 pm. Wonderful! Well we get there at 2:45 pm and they say our room isn't ready. They actually say they haven't even started it yet, but it would be the next one. I had just been driving for almost 4 hours...I wanted my room. So they said I could either wait or opt for a room on the second floor. Fine, just give me the room. We get to the room, and of course it's right across from the guest laundry room that's open 24/7... and yes, it was used. Early, late, often. We get in the room, everything was fine except no remote control. No big deal. They asked me to come down and get one. I told them I would when I was back down there again, didn't really wanna make another trip down to the lobby right away... The second night we ask for some hair conditioner since apparently hotels don't need to provide them in the rooms anymore. They said no problem, come down and get them. We do and they accidentally give us samples of body lotion (something that IS provided in the room). So another trip down for conditioner. Luckily we ran into a friendly, cleaning staff member and she provided us with some. That night it was near impossible to sleep because the gentleman next to us snored, cleared his throat and coughed a LOT, and considering the walls are paper thin, I had to keep the fan on all night in order to drown out a little bit of the noise. Then he woke up at 5:45 am and kept me up the entire remainder of the morning. The last day, for some reason my room card wouldn't let me in the side door so I had to walk all the way around from my car. Overall, wouldn't recommend. Honestly though, I don't think I would recommend any hotel at this point. There aren't really any amenities anymore. I was stoked on the free breakfast. But unless you want to pay an arm and leg for a 5-star hotel, I would just get an Airbnb or VRBO. You could basically get an entire house for the price of a 3-star hotel stay these days. read more

Front desk service is horrible, especially Natalie. We are lifetime diamond members and have never been treated so badly at a Hilton property. Here are some examples. Quiet hours at this hotel are posted as 10pm to 6am. We complained about the room above us having kids bouncing around at midnight. Natalie's reply: "kids will be kids, nothing I can do". On another stay, we arrived very late at night and asked for 1 hour late checkout. The night desk clerk said he couldn't help us. We asked Natalie in the morning and she said late checkout was not available. After further discussion Natalie said if my attitude was better she might be able to help us out. Rooms are clean with a few extra seats, spacious restroom, mirrors in the entrance on walls when you walk into the room. They have on site laundry room that is convenient to have if you need a Jersey cleaned for a paintball tournament. However, each load is fairly expensive. There is plenty of parking in the front and on the side of the building there is a somewhat heated pool that is huge and a huge Jacuzzi on the side that is piping hot. There is a grill that is in the pool area so you can grill up some food and have like a mini pool party, the area was clean and spacious. Make sure to bring a towel to dry off after getting out of the water because there are no towels in the area. read more

I've never left a yelp review, but I felt like I had to for this place. I stayed here for my birthday a couple weeks back, and I was very disappointed. We checked out of the hotel, and an hour later, I realized I left my jackets in the closet. I called the front desk, and I was told the room had been cleaned and there was nothing turned into lost and found. I couldn't believe they disappeared in an hour, so I went back to the hotel myself to check the room and the lost and found. I have made multiple attempts to contact the owner and management, but no one seems to know where my jackets have gone. I would like someone to please acknowledge the missing items. Don't leave anything in your room. These were expensive brand new jackets still in dry cleaning bags with tags on. For a new hotel, I hope this isn't the standard you are setting for your employees or guest, be better! read more

Very friendly, but not professional-i felt like I was in the kitchen while they fixed breakfast with the Mexican polka music or the Soccer game in Spanish on the TV. This place is nice. The biggest problem is that there is no hot water that comes out of the bathroom sink and there is just a trickle of water that coms out of the faucet. I tried adjusting the knobs under the sink and letting it run in both directions for 5 minutes. No hot water! I'm all for conserving water, but when you have to run the bathroom shower for five minutes before the water warms up, I don't think that is being conservative. I would be done in the shower before it actually warmed up. Our room was a suite, so it had a microwave and a refrigerator, but no freezer space in the refrigerator, so we coldn't freeze our cooler packs. The bed was comfortable. The little bar area where you first walk in had a coffee maker and a smaller sink. The TV was a good size. Our room overlooked the pool and jacuzzi. It looked like a nice space, although we didn't use it. There is a continental breakfast in the morning. coffee, juice, cereal choices, fruit, yogurt, or you could make yourself a hot waffle. Overall it was a nice place to stay, I just it wish we had better water service. We stayed here and it is a little drive to Downtown Temecula. read more

We stayed here while visiting the wineries in Temecula. The hotel is visually stunning with a very comfortable and artsy breakfast eating area. They offer a full breakfast from 6am-10am. The check in was quick and the hostess was friendly. Our room was the most impressive part of our stay. Comfortable queen size beds, refrigerator, microwave, and a nice size bathroom. Everything was immaculate! They also have a little store with snacks and knick knacks. I didnt use the wifi, so I can't comment on it. But for the price, you cant beat it. We will return. read more

This is my first negative review. We reserved an ADA room. I had a stroke. I am paralyzed on the left side of my body. The shower is not a roll in. It is a tub. How am I to get my useless left leg over the side of the tub safely? My left arm and hand are also useless. Lots of bars on the shower walls are useless. My safety is important. I just hope I don't fall. One would think this facility would care. I do not recommend this place for an ADA client. Shame on them. read more

Stayed 2 nights. AC works well. If you have a bad back, the beds won't help. Pillows were nice but the linens leave much to be desired for a Hilton brand. Staff was nice. However we were disappointed with the check out. We were in town for a party and arrived back to the hotel after midnight. I went to the front desk to request a late check out. I was told I would have to call at 6am. A little annoying, but fine. I called at 6:15 that morning and was told we would have a 1pm check out. Great! Or so I thought. Received a call from front desk at 11:50am that we had to be out by noon. Very disappointed by our stay at this hotel. I've had better stays at motels. Very beautiful facility. We needed a place for Christmas night and this fit the bill for the name, location, and price . We were welcomed by a friend front desk assistant. We were checked in without incident and quickly. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was comfortable for my sister but a little firm for me. I usually sleep on a pillow top so it could have been that. The room temp was perfect and all accessories worked well. I have had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS with this hotel staff. Issue: canceled the wrong hotel room (had 2 rooms mom decided not to go) 1. Called the hotel and asked which one do I cancel? Young lady walked me through it. The one she told me to cancel was WRONG. called back few hours later when saw the wrong room cancellation. #1 Why didn't she just cancel it for me on her computer? She insisted I do online #2 When called back asked to speak with manager, John. Spoke with Lorenzo he said John would be able to help. 2a. Asked him if should book a room now to get the right room & he said to wait for John. 2B. Called every day John never available 2c. Book room now closer to arrival date and it's now 1/3 more expensive 2d. Called back again now to see if John could match the original rate, as his staff messed the can cancellation up. 2F. 4 days later finally get ahold of John - he did help get closer to original rate but still good chunk of change more expensive. 3. After arriving at hotel after 12 he drive we were bone dead tired. Michael was at desk tried to help, but wanted to charge debit card for whole stay that night. Had cash that I was going to deposit next day, wouldnt take cash. This was such a cluster, that this lovely lady who we had never met offered to use her card & when we made deposit next day, just have hotel reverse it. There are still kind people in this world! That was the ONLY highlight from our stay at the Hampton inn by Marriott. So used daughters debit card and was instructed to make deposit by 11 am so dont get kicked out of room and he will switch card in morning. Daughter has softball tournament, we race to drop her off, find our bank and rush back to try and catch her game and call front desk before 11am. Kelly answered and she was lovely, tried to help with situation. She responded with "why would he tell you that?" You're booked for 2 days. My husband is very patient, but at this point is beyond frustrated. 4. Once back from tournament play for the day, spend my down time explaining all the foul ups that have happened along the way to Kelly. She helped correct the situation by giving us the last night free. Or, so we thought. Not only did they charge us for the entire stay, they over charged us. Both my daughter's card and mine. 5. Called Hotel and asked for manager John again. The same ole line of he is busy call bak or I can take a message. Explain that I will hold, John hasn't once returned my messages in the past & really want to hold and talk to him before have to call corporate to resolve this. Recognize the voice it's Lorenzo, who was part of this whole problem from the beginning and he states "oh well, you go on right ahead and call corporate " in a snide and rude, disrespectful manner. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. The staff is incompetent. The food was not good for breakfast and our room, had to go to Starbucks to get something for breakfast, I cleaned with Clorox wipes because was definitely not Hilton standards of clean. read more

Having temecula in there title name is very deceiving and wine country is in temecula. When I googled the distance between this location and the winery it was five minutes away but then it came to be further. They said there was another location in temecula which I might have used there address. It had temecula in it also. Remove the temecula from your name so people don't get confused. I think that is why they have it to give people the Impression that it's near the wineries. Then second I asked the manager to call me and they haven't. I called three times and no return phone call. The room was decent but they close the pool area at like 10pm. Ridiculous we drove an hour away went to a winery and the pool area was closed. Besides it was very small and did not look comfortable at all. I would not stay here. Months later now time has passed and this place never reached out to me once. I always digital check in and skip the counter, walked in this hotel after 9pm, actually had a employee at the front desk which is rare during pandemic times usually after 8pm. Walked in, and employee greeted me and wished me a good night as I walked past the front desk to the elevators. First bad thing - reservations. The computer reverted our reservation to the date we were placing it vs the date we wanted. You cannot easily cancel the same day. 2nd - it took an hour before someone in customer service picked up the phone to fix that mess and a half an hour to fix it. 3rd digital key didn't work 4th the room was dirty. There were food products in the fridge. 5th the toilet had a chip in it. 6th front desk wouldn't pick up the phone. 7th the heater smelled 8th housekeeping showed up before 8 a.m. and opened the door. At 7:00am on Monday morning, I was awakened by what sounded like someone was using a nail gun on the wall of the room in which I was staying. It got so bad, I pounded on the wall at which point it subsided. Then slowly the noise started again. I called the Front desk and the woman who answered added insult to injury as she was rude, condescending, and totally distanced the Hotel's responsibility by stating "It's not us, our maintenance workers aren't here yet." Hey, news flash Hampton Inn by Hilton, if the noise is emanating from your walls, it IS YOU! Perhaps a better response to a paying guest might have begun with, "I'm sorry your accommodations are not satisfactory, I will look into the problem. Thank you for bringing it to our attention." Stayed here while in Murrieta for work. It was okay. The lady who checked me in was super nice and sweet. I wish all the employees were like this! Basic hotel room, the bathroom outlets didn't work, I had to blow dry my hair by the ac, using a plug from one of the lights. Also called down to the front desk on Monday before I headed to work to get my room cleaned( just a restock of towels, and fresh wipe down of surfaces and some new bedding) the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was kind of rude, super short with me. He stated I'm not on the schedule, interrupted me a few times with a hint of attitude in his voice. Told me to find the house keeping carts to get more towels. Was not happy with the interaction. Also no free Wi-Fi it would not connect for me, that was frustrating. A few co workers were also staying here, and we checked out the pool one night, it was very salty! Like extremely salty. Unsatisfied for 198$ a night . Please treat me better . They have a coffee bar which I was told is 24 hr complimentary , that was nice But it was room temp coffee . I went back 45 minutes later after retrieving my belongs from the parking area where it was still frigid cold and down pouring rain all over me . I really was hoping for hot fresh coffee . Sadly it had not been rectified and it was Still cold stale coffee . There were several issues with housekeeping in the morning which were way too aggressive and I left very frustrated . I had asked for late check out and I was offered the 12 pm late check out an hour past the 11:00 am usual check out, much appreciated . I needed some much needed extra rest . I set out of my room at 9:45 am to go to their breakfast . When I opened my hotel room door there was a woman literally standing by my door . I jumped & half let out a shriek she was so close to me it startled me because I wasnt expecting someone to be right there near my door . When I got scared she did scoot back and stood off to the side standing in the hallway using her cell phone . I was left feeling so uncomfortable . I went back to my room and grabbed my phone and purse it was too weird to leave my belongings in the room after that . I could see a service cleaning bin for a housekeeper near by when I left again so I figured that's why she was looming around . I immediately reported it to the front desk letting them know her looming in the hallway was disturbing . When I went back to room 15 minutes later she was still there in the hallway in the same spot. She knocked on my door 5 minutes later , Mind you I have do not disturb posted on the doorknob . I told her I have late Check out . At 11:50 I was finishing up dressing and packing to leave my room she came back knocking and repeated knocking , Next she opened my door said housekeeping . I had to again say late check out at 12 . Talk about uncomfortable . The other issue is , I was locked out of the door trying to get back to my room after going to the parking lot . 11 am my key had been deactivated, but why Idk I had late check out . I reported the housekeeping incident to the front desk upon returning my keys at check out and was told she wants to clean the room . I am sorry where's the communication with staff ? I wanted to have a peaceful stay at the hotel . How about me being disturbed multiple times by that employee ? read more

One of the 2 elevators was out of service and, according to a desk clerk, it had been for more than 10 days. No notice of apology was posted. The hotel was full for the weekend and, rather than wait for another car, people crowded in together unsafely. We were on the 4th floor and could not walk up or down, especially with luggage. We were in the east wing of the 4th floor and the hot water took at least 8-10 minutes to get to the tub in the morning. In the mean time, 2 inches of cold water accumulated in the slow-draining tub. No water saving here. It should also be made more clear on the reservations page, or upon check, in that there is currently no hot (cooked) breakfast other than waffles. The breakfast area was not staffed adequately. We had to ask for the milk carafe to be refilled and for coffee cups to be restocked at 7:30 AM. read more

This is my third time staying here, my first stay was top floor so everything was quiet and nice. The last two times requested top floor and ended up on the lower floors. What a nightmare, the floors are so thin you hear every footstep above you. The walls are thin so you hear all the loud partying guests walking up and down the hallways. There were nothing but complaints from the quests checking out, I had to laugh quietly to myself, I know their pain. Just can't stay here anymore. If you are staying, I hope you get the top floor.
