We chose your property for a restful weekend getaway, expecting the high-quality service and comfort that your brand and pricing suggest. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by significant service failures that seem to be part of a recurring pattern. Upon check-in, we specifically requested housekeeping and fresh towels for 10:00 AM (or after) the following day. We vacated our room at 9:00 AM to allow ample time. However, upon our return at 5:00pm, the room remained untouched. Furthermore, our breakfast experience at Bouquet Restaurant was unacceptable. We sat for 25 minutes without being greeted or served, even as guests who arrived after us were attended to. When I sought out the hostess, I was told our server was "on break." As a former Service Director for a Fortune 500 company who has spent years coaching and mentoring professionals in high-touch, quality service, I find this lack of basic floor management and "service recovery" deeply concerning. After checking out, I reviewed recent feedback on platforms like Yelp and noticed that these specific issues--housekeeping lapses and slow restaurant service--have been raised by guests for months, if not years. The standard response from leadership claims these issues are being "addressed," yet our experience proves otherwise. In any service-oriented profession, words of apology are empty without the actions to back them up. I am sharing this not just as a dissatisfied guest, but as a professional in the service industry who knows that excellence is a CHOICE made daily. Superb staycation from San Diego! Was out for the polo match down the road. Beautiful property, cozy beds, nice pool. Grub was great! The Cellar downstairs stays open until midnight with live tunes. I swore the guitarist was Keith Richards, so talented! Donovan and Hunter were exceptional at the pool and at dinner that night. Amazing service. My husband booked a one night stay. We checked in around 8pm after a full day of wine tasting. The room was absolutely perfect ! Very clean, cozy and beautifully set up. When we walked in, I was so surprised to see a bottle of their Bubbly Moscato waiting for me with a handwritten note wishing me a Happy Birthday. That thoughtful touch truly meant so much, thank you sooooo much Ponte Team! The only disappointment was with breakfast. At check in, breakfast was mentioned BUT we were not notified that reservations were required. The next morning, we had plans to celebrate my birthday with breakfast at the restaurant. However, the host said they were reservation only and unfortunately couldn't seat us. If that had been communicated, we absolutely would have made a reservation in advance. We stayed at the Ponte Vineyard Inn, and let me tell you -- this was exactly the getaway we needed. The inn also features its own winery on-site, which is such a bonus. Upon check-in, we were offered a glass of their bubbly rosé, which was fabulous. We loved it so much we ended up buying a bottle. We also received complimentary tasting passes for the winery -- a great perk! We reserved a Double Queen Deluxe room with a lovely balcony overlooking the grounds. The room was spacious enough for my husband, our college-aged daughter, and me. The bathroom was large and modern, with excellent shower pressure. The inn has a beautiful pool area and fun activities like ping pong, cornhole, a putting green, and even a giant Connect Four -- which, of course, we turned into a family competition. Ponte has a fantastic restaurant for brunch (a must!), and if the weather is nice, definitely sit outside. They also have a dinner restaurant. Since it's the only one on-site that doesn't require reservations, it gets busy. Although the menu was limited, the food was solid and the service was great. We loved strolling around the property -- from peaceful fountains to a charming little lake, the whole place just feels tranquil. We left feeling completely rejuvenated. Bonus for my fellow pickleball fans: there's an 18-court park just an 11-minute drive away! This was the perfect stay, and we can't wait to return. read more

I did not stay at the Ponte Inn, but my husband and I went to the Bouquet Restaurant there on August 20 for brunch. The indoor seating area was kinda stuffy and a bit dated, so we dined on the outdoor patio. It was a la carte, rather than a buffet, which we prefer over wasting food and money on excessive, overpriced breakfast buffets. This is a beautiful hotel lobby and we are so excited to explore the hotel. We joined the wine club which I highly recommend!! We have a beautiful room overlooking the vineyards and it's so mellow and peaceful. It reminds me of the Westlake Village Inn but the Temecula version. While this is such a beautiful property, unfortunately the service, amenities and facilities leave a lot to be desired. From thumping music going through the night (at last past 10pm), to the AC making almost as much noise as the music outside, it was a very rough stay. Couple that with mosquitoes so thick you couldn't enjoy the outdoor patio without getting eaten alive and no room service (I guess I didn't need to eat anyway), look somewhere else if you want a true retreat that will take good care of you. read more

From the minute we checked in, to the minute we checked out: the staff at the front desk was so insightful, helpful, and really took the time to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. As soon as you walk in, complimentary sparkling rose: that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The hotel room itself was spacious and well kept - nothing outdated here. The balcony to our extended double queen, on the second floor, was just breath taking! The grounds themselves are also stunning! We enjoyed breakfast at their onsite restaurant, the Bouquet, which was so unique and met all our expectations: out server was a gentleman (can't remember his name), but he was so attentive and genuinely kind dude. We ended up becoming wine club members because of such a great experience, and are already planning out next stay in July to celebrate another birthday! CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH! For our anniversary we were surprised by a cute gift basket and wine! The staff are always very friendly and the amenities at the hotel are top tier. I love Ponte Vineyard Inn as much as their wine, if not more. Ponte Vineyard Inn is located next-door to South Coast Winery, can't miss it. The property is absolutely beautiful. It's stunning. The grounds and gardens are immaculate. They accommodations are endless. They offer great deals and rates for various wine club members, seniors, Veterans, and first responders, love it!! There are other deals and packages, like a country horse & carriage ride. The rooms have so many features: bath robes & slippers, signature bath amenities, fine linens, free Wi-Fi high speed Internet, in-room coffee and tea mini refrigerator, and so much more. The beds have always been comfortable, this is the most important thing and AC. The rooms have HVAC and a fast ceiling fan, amazing during the summer months. All of the king rooms are located on the first or second floor and have a covered patio or balcony that offers breathtaking vineyard or pool views. There's a small table set, so sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view and wine, of course. At check-in we were offered a complimentary glass of champagne, cheers! A nice way to settle in. If you want a better view of the pool, check out the new Poolside Bar & Café. They offer food and a full selection of cocktails, beers, and wines at the open-air Poolside Bar & Café. Enjoy dining poolside. The inn has great accommodations as well. I booked a room for my elderly parents, the bed was lowered, the shower was oversized and roll-in with grab bars, and a conveniently accessible commode. The perfect room with accessible supports. Nicely done. There is a restaurant on site, but I haven't tried it, yet. It's the Bouquet Restaurant & Bar and reservations are highly recommended. If you are up late, go down in The Cellar, a little hideaway with a premier full-service bar. The signature cocktails are tasty/pretty too. They have craft beer and gourmet entrees as well, perfect for a late night snack. Some nights they have live entertainment. Walk next door to the restaurant (The Restaurant at Ponte) by walking through the vineyard. Make sure to make a reservation for this delicious al fresco restaurant. It's no surprise that Ponte Vineyard Inn has it all, it's an award-winning boutique hotel. This property is a luxurious AAA Four-Diamond Inn. My destination spot in Temecula, always. read more

The Ponte Vineyard Inn is a charming place with charming people. The buildings, grounds and restaurant are lovely, reminiscent of a European country inn, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We stayed in room 202 on the second floor of the main building, overlooking the patio, gardens, vineyard and mountains in the distance. The balcony with two chaise lounges was huge, as was the room, with stately furnishings and elegant bedding. The inn's staff was helpful, friendly, gracious and knowledgeable. Alex set the tone at check-in, with restaurant suggestions that were spot on. She gave us a quick overview of Ponte and its sister winery, where free tastings are given to Inn guests. The wait staff at Blossom (Zach and Hunter) provided superb service for breakfast -- the food was excellent, too (go for the avocado toast with an egg). For dinner, we enjoyed the larger Ponte restaurant. The pool was quiet, with cabanas and a view of the vineyard. Honestly, one never has to leave -- and who would want to? Where else can you find a Tuscan villa in America? read more

STAY AWAY!!! So we stayed here this last weekend for a wedding for 2 nights. We came back the second night at 11:30pm and to our dismay, the whole room was never cleaned up. No new towels. Nothing cleaned up from room service. Nothing. I complained at the front desk and they offered $100. We paid over $400 a night and this place can't clean up the rooms???? WTH!!!! They said it was because of covid we didn't do that and guests like not having their rooms cleaned! I was in shock. They don't tell you this upon check-in nor do they tell you this in documents in the room itself. They claim its on their website and email. Whatever. They are just hiding doing this because they put it there rather than tell guests and be upfront about it. Who wants to stay in a hotel room that has the smell of leftover food in the room??? Bottom line: If you want to pay over $400 a night and not get your room cleaned, stay here!! STAY AWAY!!!! Very shady way of operating a hotel. read more

My companions and I stayed at Ponte Vineyard Inn as a celebration. It was surprising to find it in a state of disrepair. My room was extremely loud. There was some sort of HVAC system just over the entrance or ran over and over all night, waking me up each time. One of the cushions in the sitting area was literally open because the zipper was missing. I liked the proximity to wine tasting and it was fun walking the grounds. read more

Ok ok ok. Let me start by saying to totally ignore any review less than a 5. This place is incredible. Absolutely a great place to bring a person you want to impress. The views here are stunning. The customer service is on par with any Beverly Hills hotel. Eric who checked us in gave us the low down on the amenities and took his time to give his take on what we can expect staying here. This place is absolutely gorgeous. The food is spot on. The pool is great. EVERYTHING is fantastic. Oh and I was called the day before my arrival and they upgraded my room because I stared it was my wife's bday (which it was). The junior suites over looking the vineyard is amazing. Yo wake up at 6am and see hot air balloons lazily floating over the vineyard was truly a spectacle to view. That along with the paragliders. Really you can't go wrong here. The only thing I didn't like was the toilet. yes the toilet. It is a very unusual shaped. It is basically a funnel that you have to perfectly aim (and I'm not talking about number 1) to not stain. Serious. If your a messy person (if you know what I mean) you will miss and have to clean it up yourself for your loved one lest you look like a pig. I posted a pic. Lol. Quick getaway with my cousins to Temecula. We chose to stay at the Ponte Vineyard Inn. The grounds are beautiful. Love the Mediterranean style decor and atmosphere. The wisteria trees in full bloom were the highlights if our trip. So much beauty all around. So happy that we got to be here during this time. Overall a great place to stay at. Close to other wineries. Has two restaurants, a gift shop and a tasting room. Nice pool/jacuzzi area. Too bad it was cold. We had a pool view room on the first floor and loved it. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary this would be the second time we stay here, the first time we stayed it was nice, however this 2nd time it was not as pleasant, on our last day we decided to go eat breakfast at their Bouquet restaurant we got there exactly at 8:05a once they opened, so clearly they weren't busy, we were seated given our menus and water. and THATS IT, I started to notice more people coming getting seated and orders being taken and WE were still sitting there with just waters and menus. More servers came and more people came and something, after 25 min sitting there in disbelief I told my husband we needed to leave , we went to our room and started to pack our stuff, I spoke to a supervisor which tried to give me the excuse of " we have been busy" I'm sorry but you just opened how busy can you be ?, aside from that the people seated AFTER us were getting their orders taken, they offered us to go back to the restaurant and the breakfast was going be on them, I declined the offer we weren't looking for a free meal. I felt discriminated and embarrassed we ended up checking out early they did take off $100.00 from our room but clearly that's nothing. I really do hope they do better and speak to other managers and servers and let them know everyone is important regardless of what they are wearing or how they look. read more

My husband and I stayed here with my sister for Christmas. This was such a beautiful, intimate place and truly exceptional experience. We enjoyed some wine by the fire pit in the courtyard in the evening, and had an AMAZING breakfast at the Bouquet patio. The restaurant was so competent and respectful in accommodating all of our allergies and sensitivities! They had a gluten free bread option as well as alternative milks (we got an almond and oat milk latte!) The room was absolutely perfect--amazing shower, comfortable bed, quiet balcony with a vineyard view as well as hot air balloons (such a fun surprise when we woke up). I was lucky enough to stay here while visiting my son and his young family. It is a beautiful place! The grounds are lovely with greenery, flowers and fountains. My room was perfect for me. I marveled at the size of the shower in my King room. Everyone that works there wears a smile. They are all about customer service. The restaurant was perfect for brunch with family and also by myself. Cindy is one of the most amazing servers I have ever encountered. She wears her smile proudly and is all about making you comfortable and happy. She was wonderful with my twin grandchildren and did all she could do to make it a positive experience. Let me say she succeeded in a very big way. I requested her services when I popped in for a quick bite before leaving. My son and I visited the winery for a complimentary tasting. Again, the service was top notch and with a big smile too. Wine tasted great. I preferred their sparkling, but tasted others as well. Thanks to Laureen for her expertise! Employees here are nice. The room at the Vineyard Inn not so much. Noisy... the room had very odd and strange sounds like water gushing down pipes. Not a once or twice thing... but all night long. And it was loud. The toilet kept running all night... this was a different water sound. The shower would never warm up past a little cooler than warm. Never hot. The shower water pressure was far from decent or normal. More than a trickle, but way less than you'd want for guests. We were on the 2nd floor and the wood floors creek when walking in 50% of the room. Overall... I would not stay here again. Come here to sample wines... but do not stay in their rooms... as It's roughly the same as staying at a Rodeway Inn. read more

I stayed here one night this week for my brothers wedding. This hotel was absolutely amazing. I was hesitant going to sleep at a hotel post pandemic, but one step into the room and all my fears vanished. The room was beautiful and I would definitely come back again! Only negative was the breakfast. I ordered room service and had the eggs. Sausage,And hash browns. For 18 I'd say I definitely overpaid. The eggs and potatoes lacked flavor.
