I picked up a friend who was staying here. We were to meet in the lobby. The inside had a nice staff person working the reception desk and a large cafe area. The place was tidy. I cannot give info on the rooms but my friend said they were clean and comfortable. They have their own parking lot and WiFi. Our family left a "fancy", overpriced hotel after one night and came here to the Hampton Inn, which was less expensive, closer to family, and thankfully CLEAN! We stayed two nights here and had a really nice time. They were very nice and helpful, and the pool and hot tub were great, my kids and us loved them. Breakfast was very good, and everything was clean. This will be our go to stop for visiting family in this area. Plus every Hampton Inn we have stayed at in the past has been very clean, unlike the others. Good job Hampton inn! read more

All of the staff here are great. Location is very safe and room was very clean and comfortable. I don't typically eat breakfast at hotels, but this one has a great breakfast setup and you can make your own waffle. I'm really disappointed in the service my husband received here. He went in not knowing if he would need to stay one night or two. The lady at the front counter convinced him to book two nights because of spring training or something along those lines (this was mid week, not weekend) so he finally agreed under his stressful circumstances. He ended up only needing the one night. He left work early hoping to check out on time and although it was pass checkout time (not sure about late checkout, it was not offered) but it was about an hour before new check ins could arrive they refused to refund him. They only reimbursed him $60 for a $250 room. If it was so "busy" as they convinced him it would be. I'm assuming they were then able to not only get the majority of the $250 from my husband but also get another $250 from another customer. We always use this hotel when needing to stay in this area but will no longer be doing so. It was like a 10 minute difference that lost him the $190 in the end. I cannot stand companies that don't show grace or encourage ppl to book two nights when the customer said they were unsure in the first place. Yes, my husband was late and we take responsibility for that, but to lose out on $190 when we know (according to the original woman that checked him in) that the room was most likely still able to be booked by someone else "because of spring training etc" is unreasonable to me. I hope the $190 was worth losing at least two customers moving forward. The only person I'd like to compliment was Tabitha (I believe her name was) the original person I spoke to who passed the message/request along to the higher ups. She at least showed compassion and understanding of the situation although final decision making was out of her control. So be careful when booking if you decide to stay here. He could have tried another hotel if they were in fact going to be at full capacity on the second night but again under his stressful circumstances he listened to her, trusting it was the right move at the time. The rooms were very clean. It had little features that were thoughtful like hooks to hang your stuff in and plenty of outlets with USB ports. It's very close to Albertson's and in front of this hotel is a Denny's you a literally walk to. However, their free breakfast options were pretty good. Had a nice, clean and comfortable stay her for the long weekend while visiting family in Surprise. The room had a mini fridge and microwave, perfect for leftovers. Parking was free and our stay included a decent breakfast, which included waffles you make yourself. I marked off a star because the walls are very thin. At 10:30pm Saturday night, a group of college baseball players were knocking loudly on the door next to our room. After 10 mins, they finally got in the room. They were talking very loud and playing music. We were in bed and could hear them loud and clear as if the door was open. We let this go for 30 mins until I tried calling the front desk from the room phone, but no one answered. A few mins later I called the hotel line from my cell phone and got a hold of someone. I made my complaint and within 5 mins, someone knocked and let them know they were too loud. Thankfully, they broke up the party and we were able to rest. read more

Literally right off the highway from the drive from Vegas, this is a clean, centrally located place to stay. There is a Denny's, Mc Donald's and Albertsons all within a brief stroll. I appreciated the Quality, FREE BREAKFAST, and new Televisions with multiple HBO channels. Plenty of parking and a 20 minute drive to Glendale to see the Arizona Cardinals. Friendly housekeepers work hard. Please leave something for them when you check out. Warning! If you reserve the room for someone else using your card, they have to have the card in possession! Even if your are a Hilton Honors Diamond Member. I just Averted a bad situation thanks to me deciding to go on the trip. The Indifferent clerk was no help. The hotel was nice. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There really isn't much to report. I know there's a pool available, decent parking, and around-the-clock reception but I haven't noticed anything unique. This is a great hotel if you're checking in for business or need to stay somewhere in Arizona. I haven't had much interaction with the staff. My family is here for three nights, but I opted to stay with my grandmother instead. It's an ok place to stay, and I might even try the spa in the future. read more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable. We were able to park in the reserved Diamond Member Parking, which was nice! We weren't upgraded, which is a bit unusual, but the hotel may have had a high occupancy rate the night we stayed. Check in and Check out was okay. Due to Covid, Breakfast was "Grab and Go". A truly great review always goes back to Customer Service. I went down to lobby the morning of checkout, and foolishly tried to carry two hot cups of coffee, and some hard boiled eggs. I almost burned myself several times. I arrived to our floor, and a lovely smiling employee named MERLISSA, who stopped what she was doing to help me carry everything. My grandson had to have a major foot surgery and we stayed with Hampton Inn & Suites in Surprise. He lives on the Eastside, but surgery was here on the Westside. After surgery we stayed at the hotel for a couple of days. Staff couldn't have been nicer, from the front desk to housekeeping. And breakfast was amazing! Very well done with so many choices. Hot food like eggs and. potatoes, fruits, bagels, cereal, muffins, juices, waffles, etc., After not being able to eat do to the surgery my special needs grandson was very impressed with all the food but especially the omelettes! Looks like Hamptons have had a facelift and they look great. We recently stayed here for the first time while visiting my in-laws. Our room was nice and clean, the wifi was strong, and LOVING the EV Chargers. Breakfast is just okay, but the food was low by 8:00. The ice machine was out of order on our floor. I stayed here for my first time in Surprise. If you are on a road trip to the west it's the last city before Kingman that has decent hotels. It's also a great option if you want to visit Phoenix or the surrounding areas. This Hampton is in a convenient location and there is a Dennys in the same parking lot. There is also a Walmart and lots of shopping nearby. I love the digital check in and check out option through the hilton honors app. I would highly recommend using the app. You can search hotels and book easily. My only complaint is that the TV guide for my room's television was the kind that scrolls slowly to show you what's on TV instead of letting you scroll thru the options. Makes it a little annoying to find what you want to watch. But everything else was nice. Breakfast was delicious as per usual at any Hampton inn and the staff was friendly, parking was abundant, the pool looked nice, and it's in a good part of town. This hotel is a hidden gem, just outside of Phoenix. I came to the area to see the financial Gawd Dave Ramsey and this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. First of all - if you're going to book a hotel, it should be a Hampton Inn, because the quality is terrific across the board and they give you the ultimate hook-up on the way out with a massive breakfast that is part continental and part buffet. You will have your choice of Special K, pastries, Waffles, scrambled eggs, yogurt, sausage links, etc. If you leave this breakfast hungry then there is something wrong, because they have something for everyone. Our room was really nice. It was a semi-suite with a small bar area with a refrigerator and sink, a couch and a couple of chairs. The bedding was really nice, with one of those hypo-allergenic comforters and the carpeting was so squishy that you didn't get that squeamish feeling like everyone on the planet has walked in your room and ground something into the carpet that may have been squishy 20 years ago. The front desk and hotel staff were very pleasant and were very helpful during our stay. My only complaint was that I only booked 1 night. I was thrilled to learn that they have a significant discount in room rates for folks there for the hospital. Additionally, both Paula and Linda at the front desk were incredibly gracious and kind. I can't blame him because he is 98. Having said that, I have nothing against 98 year olds. Just maybe he should be more suitable as a receptionist at an assisted living facility. A more pleasant experience would have been for a visitor. 2. The in room AC is extremely loud. It is an Amada in wall piece that scared the bejesus out of me. It was off when I went to sleep and at 4 am this thing turned on scaring me out of my sleep to my feet and to the bathroom. It must have been near -100db. Overall it was good. read more

I stayed at this hotel for a total of four nights while on a business trip. For the most part, I had a very pleasant experience. Upon checking in, I arrived about an hour prior to their posted check-in time. The gentleman at the front desk (I didn't catch his name) looked up my last name and said "the room is all ready for you." He continued getting my information and handing me the keys to the room. I was relieved to be able to check in early since it was so hot outside and I really had no where else to go. I went up to my room and found it to be rather large, clean, and quiet. The bed was very big, but not very comfortable. There is free cable, wifi, a nice refrigerator and microwave in the room, and every complimentary item you can think of (even if it is not in your room, you can request them at no additional charge). There is a complimentary breakfast that looked really good, but I am on a diet, so I just got some yogurt and fruit. There is a pool/spa and fitness area I never tried out, but they looked nice. Last thing I will mention is vicinity....there are a couple of grocery stores located very close, as well as a fee restaurants and places to eat. Not too bad for being a place in the middle of nowhere. read more

Everything seemed normal when I checked into stay last weekend. I was in town to visit my mother at a nearby hospice and the social worker at the hospice set it up so that our room would be covered by them. The hotel knew of this and the woman who checked me in also said the night was being covered by the hospice. I obviously gave my credit card for incidentals. I was debited $50 pending, as expected. The next day, when I checked out, the charge fell off, as excepted... What was NOT expected was a $160 charge debited from my account yesterday, an entire week later, for an amount that doesn't even make sense. The cost of the room was $240 or so. So even if someone had made a mistake and forgot to charge the card on file for the hospice payment, why the hell was I charged $160?? The amount doesn't make sense. We only used the room to shower and sleep (because again, my sole purpose for visiting was to see my dying mother in hospice down the road). Absolutely baffling. I will never trust the Hilton with my service again, and I'll also be suggesting the Hospice company no longer do their business their either. Completely unacceptable way to conduct business. Also, not to mention I never signed for paying for the room or anything of the sort. Talk about illegal. I've already filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and will post this on multiple platforms. I'm sure this is not the first time they've done some shady transactions based on the reviews I have read. Shame on you, Hilton, for taking advantage of grieving families. read more

Loved everything about this hotel. We stayed 6 worry free, stress free nights! Front desk was accommodating, polite and helpful. Housekeeping did a great job daily. Loved the office station by the front desk; we were able to use the computer for an extended amount of time and print several sheets and make copies for free. Rooms are a decent size with a microwave and fridge, free wi-fi and breakfast in the AMs. The grab and go breakfast and afternoon/evening cookies are an even better score. As I diamond member, obviously the Hilton family of hotels is my go-to. This hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient. My room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was always hot and ready when I walked downstairs. Coffee is always available. The only thing I would have liked is to see weights in the fitness room, rather than just the cardio equipment. All in all, good stay. read more

This hotel is exceptionally clean, beds and pillows are comfortable, and the air conditioner is quiet but works great. The pool is on the small side but very clean. The breakfast is better than typical complimentary hotel breakfasts. We had to checkout at 4:00 AM and the front desk gave us breakfast-to-go in brown lunch bags. There is always coffee and usually cookies in the lobby. The location is great... near restaurants and Sun City West. The only two problems I had were an iron that didn't work and a missing blowdryer in the room. The front desk remedied both problems immediately.
