View of hotel next door + fresh snowcapped mountain

WHY I WENT HERE: - business trip THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located on Larkspur Ln in between Mistletoe Ln and Industrial St - decent amount of parking - the part of the hotel that overlooks the pool also has a view of the mountain; at the time of my stay there was fresh snow, which was nice THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - lobby, coffee/hot water station, and sitting area for breakfast has various seating options - bathroom had good lighting; showerhead pressure was good - room was a good size CUSTOMER SERVICE: - this hotel doesn't have check-in through the Hilton app, so I had to do the old-fashioned lobby front desk check-in; the staff member I spoke with was very warm and welcoming

Nice big lobby. Lot of seats and tables for breakfast time.

Such a friendly staffs. Dog friendly. Our room was very clean and spacious. Lobby is full of chairs and tables. It's mostly used for breakfast time. Lots of magazines and newspapers to read. Coffee and tea available in the lobby 24/7. Keep an eye out for fresh baked cookies daily. 5-7mins from restaurants, Turtle Bay and shopping.

We stayed here on a Tuesday night in April after making the reservation online. We were able to check in online but had to go to the front desk to get the keys because they do not have the digital key option. We reserved the King suite again because we like that size and style of room. This room was a little smaller than other Hampton Inn's we stayed in this trip but in general the same layout. This hotel has an outdoor pool but we did not inquire about it and it appeared closed. I would say this is a little older property but we appreciated the location and it was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet which was appreciated. Overall it was a good stay.

On a recent road trip - one of many over the years - we stayed in a wide variety of places: motels, small town charming inns (some like motels, but $$$), Embassy Suites, and lodges. Hampton was my favorite as it's: Clean Modern Electronic accommodations (plugs, lights) are located in the right places. Very hot water and good pressure Multiple mirrors Spacious *** The free breakfast is BEST of any of the chains. Pressed juices, omelettes...stocked and clean Factor-in low price and it's the best overall value.

Good stay. I had a one bed (king size) room with a microwave and fridge. It is definitely not the best Hilton but definitely doable to sleep (you're in Redding, go outside-- its beautiful haha). If I had the option, I would give 3.5 stars! Pros: - Smooth check-in; smooth check-out. The service is great. No complaints here. - Room was clean and quite large (was able to choose the room as other Hilton's do) - Had microwave and fridge (a decent size at that; see cons) - Good A/C and heater. It was raining all weekend and was very nice to have a functional heater - Plenty amount of breakfast food: hot food (eggs, some form of protein), oatmeal, waffle maker, yogurt, juices/milk, cereal, toast, pastries (scones, muffins), fruit... to name a few. - Water pressure and hot water in the shower! - Free parking and plenty of it Cons: - No digital key - My key stopped working on the last day that I was there. I had two keys and both of them stopped working. I had to get replacements but this is where the digital keys would have come in handy. - The style of the rooms were a bit outdated. - Although the fridge was decently sized for a hotel, it was barely cold even with the temperature gauge. The freezer was excellent. It kept my ice packs frozen but the rest of the fridge lacked Definitely would come back again. It was a great distance from all things wonderful (Mt. Shasta, Burney, McCloud, etc).

It was ok. However, when you already have a limited breakfast selection you shouldn't be running out of milk, yet they managed to do so.

The staff were friendly and the entire check in process was easy. For the price, we got an individual tiny cabin with two bedrooms and a bath. It came with a simple kitchen and an awesome patio overlooking the, unfortunately, near empty lake. The staff informed us that the lake had been drained to help fight recent California wildfires, so that made me feel a little bit better. Anyways, the cabin was clean and everything you would need for a nice relaxing stay. My biggest qualm was that the hot water did not work so we were not able to take a shower (unless it was ice water cold). And the Internet did not work - not for browsing or streaming pleasure but simply for cell phone service in such a remote area. All in all, a decent spot to stay in the Shasta Lake area.

We chose Woody's because our little one wanted mac 'n cheese and they have some of the best in town! I cannot rave enough about the restaurant and how well they handled the party. The booking process was easy and completed via e-mail. This aspect was handy as I didn't have to leave the house or make a phone call on a busy day. The gentleman I spoke to answered all of my questions during the booking process. On the day of the party, we showed up a few minutes early to put up some decorations. A waitress and waiter came and greeted us right away. The owner even came by, promptly, and introduced himself to me. The kindess and professionalism was outstanding. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name! I feel terribly that I can't provide it.) did an outstanding job! We were a big group of people and she took all of our orders, answered questions, and helped us with anything we needed. I hope it can be determined who worked that day so she can be given her kudos as she was lovely! Lastly, the kitchen staff did a great job getting our food out in a timely manner. I was impressed by their speed and the food was delicious. As the restaurant was busy, we didn't have a chance to say thank you one final time before we left. So, thank you again, Woody's! You guys made the party enjoyable and easy for us. We felt we could take a step back and enjoy our daughter's day! :)

It's a barn so naturally they do not have AC and just imagine having to be in wedding attire sweating everywhere. It was an unusually hot day around 110 so that did not help. I don't know if the venue or the wedding party paid to bring in giant water cooler fans (2 of them) which helped a little. As a guest I thought I was going to pass out. For this particular wedding they opted to have a food truck which was outside and partially under a shaded area. I did not see if they would be able to have food catered. If so I'd go casual and BBQ route. The restrooms were very nice and super clean thank goodness. The property itself is extremely secluded and off the beaten path. If that's what you want then go for it. The staff of the property seemed very slim to none and they did not seem to offer the usual wedding type assistance that I'm familiar with. Maybe this was based upon the type of package our wedding party purchased I don't know. Most of the traditional aspects of what you'd see for a schedule of events at a wedding did not occur. Beautiful couple , sweet ceremony and good to see family. Beautiful piece of property but limited for sure. Hope this helps.
