We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in town for a wedding. The check in was easy, which was so nice considering we didn't make the reservation, but there were no problems. The room was clean and we enjoyed the coffee out most of the day until the evening, plus the tea option was nice. The continental breakfast was a good one, loved the eggs, super flavorful (more so than usual and love having the egg and ham combination, don't think we see that one too often. They even have Chobai (spelling ??) yogurt, just wished they had granola to add (they might have, I just missed it). It was a great breakfast with cereals and baked goods, you can toast them too. Loved the waffles and the topping options, our boys had a load of fun with all your sweet toppings. The pool is a good size and warm, just a super slippery surface, like scary to walk slippery, might want to look into that. We also had trouble getting onto the wifi, the window wouldn't pop up asking if we agree to the hotel terms, so we settled for our hotspots. It could have been user error why that window didn't pop up, I have no idea. But the service was great and clean and it's in a great location with many places to eat within walking distance and also a movie theater and mall that you can easily walk too as well. We'd highly recommend staying at this Hampton Inn. read more

The bed was good that's why I might have given it two stars. However, the room had so many LED lights that it was hard to sleep as well as a full half inch gap under the door where the hall light blazed through illuminating the entire room. Not good sleeping conditions. The breakfast: mushy eggs, undercooked, sausage, and cold coffee. No good options for breakfast here. It is not a value. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE THEY WILL STEAL ITEMS FROM YOUR ROOM‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼ If I could rate this a zero I would! I was a guest at this property for 2 months due to my occupation. During my stay my room was cleaned and when I returned from work I noticed SEVERAL of my personal items stolen. I've never experienced this before and before I blamed anyone I triple checked my room. Checking behind the bed, the couch, drawers, the closet and after an hour of searching I decided to notify the hotel manager. I spoke with the manager Jackie Reese and she told me to come down so we can file a stolen items report. Before I could even get out what was taken from my room Jackie said " I don't believe this, I mean I'm not saying you are lying but the person who cleaned your room has been here for a long time" this made me feel like she was going to take her employers side before even getting the real story. I showed Jackie my bank statement proving the items that were stolen were just purchased in town locally. After giving my statement of my stolen items I noticed I was treated differently by Jackie and Destinee. I was ignored/given attitude anytime I came to the front desk even if I came down with a coworker needing towels or picking up a package. I tried to extend my stay 2 weeks in advanced before my checkout date but was told the hotel was sold out. I understood and called my company to notify them only to be told by my company that they were actively on the phone with the hotel booking 6 additional rooms out for the month. So I went back downstairs with several of my coworkers who were also able to get there rooms extended and what we witnessed was uncalled for and high unprofessional. We all physically witnessed how dismissive and rude the staff became to me. There was a new employee who extended my stay and Destinee came from the back office yelling at the new employee telling her that she can't extend my stay. I was so confused because it was already confirmed by the new employee but Destinee took it out the system. A few days went by and my company was still having a hard time getting someone to extend my stay and I was told I would get one of the new rooms being booked. I had a feeling I was being mistreated because of the report I made but what made it clear is the day I was banned and had the police called on me. I came back from work and was told I was banned from the property and needed to leave immediately. Confused I asked Destinee why and again was dismissed. I called corporate and was told the hotel reported me "falling in my room" I asked the date and time of the report and proved to cooperate that I was at work during the time and I also notified corporate of my stolen items since nothing was notated in the system about that. Also cooperate let me know that the notes about me "falling in my room" were uploaded 3 days after they banned me and they found the behavior to be suspicious. I tried to speak with the general manager Vivian L. Sullivan and the assistant manager Jackie Reece but was mistreated and dismissed once again. I never received an apology for my stolen items instead I was banned for a reason that was proven not true. If you made it this far I recommend staying at the Residence Inn located directly across. The staff is magnificent, professional, and during my 2 month stay with them I received some of the best treatment I've come across during my traveling career. read more

Ok I stay here fairly regularly. My review is based on collective stays. I have to say, the customer service and cleanliness of the rooms seems to vary every month. Last month it was a joke to get me into a room. Every key they gave me didn't work. I had to drag my luggage down to the desk each time. When I was able to access a room it was saturated in pot. Legit smelled like someone just smoked a joint and then walked out. When I asked to be moved, they knew about the smell. . This month, the AC was not working properly. Went to bed with the AC on and woke up at 3am with the heat blasting. My efforts were not successful in getting the AC to work. My room was a sauna. Not ok. read more

Let me preface this by saying we have been staying at Hampton/Hiltons for over 20 years. In that time, we have caused zero issues during our stays. I pride myself on being a very honest person. Now our experience...This was a short trip for our family to enjoy a Christmas/New Years inexpensive overnight trip. We ordered pizza, tired the kids out in the pool and spent some time playing cards while the kids slept. We left the next day after sleeping in and unfortunately missing breakfast. The pool was not as warm as other hotels, but still fun. The location was kind of busy, but easy to get to. All in all, it was a successful trip....UNTIL I was reconciling my check book. We were initially charged $150 two times. This was in addition to and separate from our regular hotel room fees. Then one of the $150 was refunded. I called and asked why we were charged $150. I was informed that after we left housekeeping FOUND the curtains broken on the floor (all of the clips broken!!) We were informed we LEFT it that way. Let me be very clear, we would NEVER leave a room in such disarray!! And from my experience with hotels, pulling and breaking those curtains would require so much force, you literally would have to Tarzan from the curtains to cause that much damage. Completely ridiculous and definitely didn't happen on our watch. We are being told by management that there is nothing they can do. Are you kidding me?? And also, we were never even notified that there was damaged, shouldn't you contact the customer before you just charge their account so much?? All in all-customer service nowadays is gone. Make sure you CYA if you stay here. Take pictures of your room because I definitely will be in my future stays, but I definitely won't stay here!! read more

This is a really nice hotel. It was very clean and new. I loved the bedding and the room amenities were clever. The additional usb charger plugs built into the side table, and the sliding racks inside the entertainment center. There was also a mini fridge in the room which I am always glad to see in hotel rooms. I always hate throwing away leftovers from dinners out. I like midnight snacks. The rooms were quiet and comfortable perfect for relaxing after a long day. The front desk staff as well as the housekeeping staff was very friendly. We try not to burden them too much, but they are always prompt in meeting our needs. We have been staying at another fairly new hotel, and I am happy to say that this will probably be our new choice. Mostly because it is nice and doesn't cost as much as the other one. It has a great pool area, but I didn't use it. read more

My husband and I Travel for his job. We have stayed in a few places that I would never recommend, this is another one. We usually stay at the Hampton in Sweedsboro NJ. I gotta tell ya the standards I expect from a Hampton franchise are just that high standards, we will be finding other accommodations. Broken thermostat, broken chairs, food from previous visitors on the floor. And the barn style door don't even. Heavy bastard! And the Technician is supposedly fixing that. 5 hrs later. Unfortunately at this place, you don't get your room cleaned so it's a little bit of a challenge especially since the Marriott across the street is very good with that. We have been traveling the Eastern US for the last 10 days and stayed at hotels each night. This one, by far, has been the best. Wonderful, kind check in service (I walked in without a reservation). The King room was very well appointed and spacious. Shower had great water pressure. My number one complaint on hotels is the fact that they try to have the bathroom sink double as a kitchenette... Hampton has a separate counter at the entry with a sink - away from the restroom. Thank you for designing your rooms with this in mind! Wonderful stay. Stayed here a few days ago for the best band ever (Blackberry Smoke). I would for sure book again. Breakfast was the highlight and they actually offered more than I expected. It is really close to the mall and a lot of restaurants. I passed on using the pool area due to time and alcohol consumption. 1 star taken away due to what sounded like a herd of elephants above and someone making babies next door. At least it wasn't like the Hooker Lodge Motor Inn / Econo Lodge my friends stayed at in Warren. read more

I stayed here for a work trip. The front desk was exceptionally welcoming and promptly greeted me when I entered the foyer. Check-in was easy. I went to my room and expected the standard, but was pleasantly surprised by the modern decor and comfortable atmosphere. Very well thought out layout and very accommodating. Everything was clean and organized. Only negative is that I had some trouble with the wireless; after a few tries it worked. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stay here. read more

The hotel is a new construction and well-maintained. The room was comfortable and clean, the hotel was rather quiet. There is ample parking available. This location utilizes digital key, which I really like, and on the HHonors app, you can check-in and choose your room. The staff was also super friendly. I didn't eat breakfast here, but the breakfast/lobby area was spacious and accommodating. I also didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and was indoors. The location is perfect, as it is in the mall parking lot and walking distance to the mall, movie theater, and restaurants around there. Standard check-out was noon, which is nice being that many places are 10 or 11. I travel to the area to visit family a few times a year and will definitely stay here again and recommend to others that travel to the area. read more

Stayed here a few weeks ago for a weekend softball tournament. Booked a three night stay (Thursday-Sunday) in a king suite with a wet bar and sofa bed pullout. Everyone was super friendly and the room and hotel were pretty clean altogether. The outside patio wasn't very big but was still pretty nice. Eastwood Mall is also a short walk away and there are a decent amount of restaurants around. The only downfalls were the pool being closed and no hot breakfast (due to COVID). There was a grab and go breakfast though, with basic items such as cereal, bagels, fruit, etc. With the amount of people staying in the hotel, it stayed pretty quiet and there were not really a ton of noises heard from inside our room. If we are up in this area again, we will definitely chose this hotel to stay in. read more

I travel for work and stay in Hilton hotels about 100 nights a year. Five stars for the fact that, unlike many Hilton-family properties, General Manager Karri Plecko, made the small but welcome gesture to hand write a thank you note for being a Hilton Honors member. It was waiting for me in my room. Call me old- fashioned but receiving a hand written note means that this team takes time to pay attention to the details. Thank you Karri and staff.
