Had a long stay at Park Inn while my spouse was in town for work. The facilities are dated and have the feeling of a location that was once pretty grand and sort of kitschy but is a shadow of its former self. It was kind of fun to stay here with our child for the extended time we were here, though--kind of adventurous. It reminded me of the Soviet-era version of The Grand Budapest Hotel of the movie of the same name. The central pool area with all the artificial vegetation is fun. We had a room with a balcony looking down on the pool area. The cleaning staff (all of one person, I think) was so nice. They only stop by once a week, and never cleaned the room while we were in it, but she was kind in getting us towels and trash bags. The manager is a stressed out man but very nice. They are running this place on a shoe string. There were very few guests during our stay. A few were there on the weekend, as I think there was an event happening in town. The public space where the pool is echoes a lot into the rooms when people are in there. We had a tub oddly placed in the room, which is right next to an ungrounded outlet that is really not safety minded. The bathroom does not have a fan, so the steam is an issue. Soap dish in shower was held on with tape and caulk. It fell off during our stay and exposed mold behind it. The tub showed rust. The elevator was broken for half our stay. The pool was down for the first half of our stay, but it was repaired. The lock on the side door is broken, so anyone can enter the building at any time. The Radisson branding is limited to the signage, room numbering, and artwork in the rooms. Continental breakfast is coffee service, frozen packaged muffins, and a fruit bowl of oranges and apples. This hotel was shockingly bad. Think long and hard before staying here. When staying at hotels for personal travel, I go between hostels and inexpensive hotels/motels, so I'm hard to shock. The hotel is under construction, so there was almost nobody staying there (not a problem, but worth noting because it meant almost all the amenities aren't available. I was only staying one night and was exhausted upon arriving, so I didn't care. What did bother me was: 1. The elevator was not working, so I had to climb a stairway with my luggage in very dim lighting. If I had mobility issues or someone who wasn't comfortable dealing with getting jumped in the dark, I'd have been in trouble. 2. The hallway where I was staying was littered with trash (see video), so including food, used q-tips, abandoned food wrappers, etc. 3. The door handle wasn't functioning properly, so I had to drag myself and my luggage back down the stairs to speak with the staff, who weren't at the front desk for 15 minutes. I expressed some frustration and exhaustion, but they told me how to open the door and that they'd been hearing about this problem (then why not mention it when I checked in?) and neither offered to help with my bags. 4. Once I got in the room, it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned properly (see photos), including a dirty microwave, melted cheese on the desk, a candy wrapper in the toilet (who does that??) a dirty fridge, and trash on the floor. 5. There were no blanket or comforter on the beds--just sheets and the room was chilly, so I didn't sleep very well. 6. There was what looked a lot like black mold in the shower (see photos) I was so tired, that I should just suck it up and get some sleep instead of asking to move to another room; laziness on my part. Upon checking out around 11am, I asked to have a quit chat with the manager and made it clear I wasn't asking for a refund of any kind, just wanted to provide feedback. The (different) staff said there was no manager on site for several hours, so I asked for an email. The staff member gave me a personal email--which I asked about--and was assured that there was no company email for the manager. He asked me what the feedback was, so I outlined my concerns and asked if he wanted to see the photos. As he looked at them, he dismissed each of my concerns ('I know the room was cleaned', 'the hallway was only dirty because it was late', 'we don't usually keep anything but sheets on the beds', 'that's not mold', etc.), so rather than validate any of my feedback, he just blew me off. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I was supposed to stay 9 nights here. I arrived and should have cancelled my appointment as this place looks like a drug infested place. I did check in and thankfully my company called and moved me to another job so I checked out after one day, but when I got the invoice, they charged me for all 9 days and when I called I was told a manager would call me back. The room smelled like a Funeral home, The doors were kept open and Trash was in the hallway. I dont know who or what ran up and down the hall all nite, I travel 37 to 40 weeks out of the year and I was scared to stay there. I have asked Radisson to pull their name off of this establishment as I do not want their good name ruined by this place. I have stayed at a Radisson and have had a good experience. I have put a hold on my card to get them to provide proof I was there all week. Please do not book here. read more

Overall it's not bad. One of those you get what you pay for places. It has definetely gone downhill over the years and need some upgrades and maintenance. Our room specifically had mold caulk, pieces of trim missing around the room, dirty windows and lampshades. Our refrigerator was also leaking when we arrived. On the plus side, the staff was very nice and maintenance was quick to replace the refrigerator as soon as we mentioned the issue. While we didn't utilize the pool, it was clean and being used by other guests. For the price and a one night stay, we'll go again. read more

From the General Manager right on down through the staff of the property inclusive of front desk, restaurant, bar, housekeeping, incredibly professional, knowledgeable, helpful and truly cared that I had the best possible stay I could have. My wife and I were most impressed with the renovations which are ongoing, can't wait to travel back through the area to see the pool area & courtyard updated. In the meantime, quiet, safe, clean property at a reasonable rate. Can't say enough positive things about this property. Needs to be bulldozed, or have $1.5 Million in renovations. This place is gross, smells of mold and mildew, and has serious gaps in service and services. It is a large motel with a roof over the pool, and only 3 lights in the parking lot that actually work. Since the lot was fairly empty, I parked between 2 that were lit, and hoped my rims would still be on my truck in the morning. To echo a prior review, 1 excuse after another. After waiting at the reception desk, and ringing the bell for 15 mins. I had to go hunt down the sole bartender/server/housekeeper/manage (per the conversation being had as I stepped up to the 1970's sunken horseshoe bar, in a very sad, run down, disco.) Apparently the "chef" is M.I.A. or has motivational issues, regardless, no food, just drinks, if they are on the menu with directions. The desk clerk finally appeared as the bartender lumbered into the employee door of the front area. Apologizing and telling us if our room smells of smoke, let him know. He said nothing about mildew, of which, it had plenty, but after a 12 hour work day, and 6 hours of towing, I was too exhausted to trudge the 300 yards back through the bar to complain. The AM brought terrible coffee, and a plate of unwrapped bagels, muffins bread, and 1 toaster. read more

Rude ! Do not stay here!!!! I felt unsafe due to how I was spoken to. He took the credit card to the back to run. He was talking to me in such a way I felt so unsafe I left and went elsewhere. They had no cars in the lot. They also had a weed smell by the front desk. The nasty attitude came because I asked for the rollaway bed that I requested when I booked on Priceline. Booked a room a month information advance based on amenities and ratings. Upon arrival I check the room before bringing luggage in because the place looked like a ghost town. The door handle came off when opening the entrance to the room. Went to see the pool and hot tub area and everything was shut down and the hot tub was drained. I recently stayed two nights and was so happy to leave. This hotel is outdated, dark hallways and decor, dirty, neglected and poorly maintained. Our king size bed was comfortable but the large jacuzzi tub in the room took up too much space, it felt cramped. The bathroom was so small, rust stains in tub, cracks in floor, stained brown carpet was gross in entryway. We did have plenty of hot water though. Our room had a second door that opened onto a large courtyard with pool. This area seemed in poor repair and neglected but the chlorine smell was so pleasant (sarcasm)! Try a newer hotel in the area if you need to stay. The owner hasn't put anything into this one in a long time. read more

Not giving 1 star based on pool closure--was a disappointment and surprise but it was my own fault for not calling. It's still Covid and I understand places aren't fully open yet. Room was very dated and towels/sheets/etc were all old and yellowed. Otherwise room is relatively clean. Only planned to stay here because my kids wanted the jacuzzi in the room. Reserved the biggest room available (whirlpool suite) and online was advertised to have the jacuzzi, a king bed, and a pullout sofa. Once arrived to my room I realize there is no pullout sofa and I have been put in the "premium king" room advertised online. I called down and explained--the front clerk said I could get the room with the pullout if I paid an extra 40 dollars now. Umm what? Why would my confirmation and online show that I paid for a whirlpool suite with a pullout couch....and now you are telling me I am supposed to pay and upgrade? I said no, I continued to try to explain and she said she would let the GM know that maybe it's being shown online incorrectly? Regardless there was no (literally no) help to try and correct it besides having me pay more. I'm mostly just left confused and annoyed with myself for staying here. This is my second stay at this hotel. The first stay was about a year ago. We were impressed the last time but this time? Not so much. This is an older building, that calls back the days when hotels really tried to draw guests with their amenities. They have a night club, restaurant, and a very large indoor pool/recreation area. The first time we were overlooking the pool area. This room overlooks the parking lot. You can hear the traffic on the nearby tollway, but it is not loud enough to be really bothersome. Might even be a little comforting to some city-dwellers. The building is pretty dated, but seems to be well maintained and the rooms are clean. The bathrooms are kind of small, but then, I'm a pretty big guy so maybe it just felt that way to me. The shower head is too low for tall guys; I had to bend over to get my hair wet. The water hits me right about at the shoulder blades. The room we stayed in is a standard sized hotel room but where the second bed would normally be, there is a two person jacuzzi tub. That was a nice feature after a long day of driving. My chief complaint is the bed. The last time we stayed here we thought the bed was pretty comfortable, but this one was hard as a rock. My wife and I just could not get comfortable. We tossed and turned all night. My arms kept falling asleep and I woke up with pain in my neck, back and shoulders this morning. Just not a great start to my day. The Sunday morning breakfast buffet is similar in size and quality to what you can get free at some hotels, but here it cost $8.95 per person. read more

I stopped in here to visit some people who were a part of a wedding and were staying in the hotel. After hanging around for a bit we decided to go into the restaurant/bar area. They had a DJ playing and the place was fairly dimly lit. 2 security guards stood outside checking on IDs before people were allowed in. I had taken my shoes off and left them in a room. After being in dress shoes all day and getting to a hotel I rarely wear shoes. The guard at the entrance informed me that i could not enter without shoes (ok odd but probably some stupid rule they have to follow). We were inside for probably a half hour before a member of our group was asked to leave because she was breast feeding even though she was all covered up. We ended up leaving shortly after that to be with our friend and because the music was fairly loud. I'm not sure what this hotel is trying to accomplish with the restaurant. If you're catering to the 21-26 year olds then you did an OK job, good 21 year old party atmosphere with OK drinks and a DJ. Personally I thought the hotel was a little dirty for my liking and if you're looking to grab a drink would recommend staying somewhere else and grabbing a 6 pack to sip on instead. read more

The fellow with the spaghetti hair at the bar was extremely mean. We were part of the wedding party and had about 10+ rooms booked at the hotel. The hotel bar tender was extremely rude to the whole party once we came back from the wedding. He made us all line up like we were in high school to order drinks and over all just had a horrible attitude. I've worked in hospitality for many years and this is tue worst experience I've ever had. I stayed here for one night due to the fact that I was in the area for a wedding. This hotel isn't falling apart, but it definitely would benefit from significant renovations and updates. I slept in a room surrounding the pool/courtyard area with a king bed. The room felt clean and had essentially everything I would need/expect from a standard hotel room, but everything just felt outdated and antique. For instance, there was a huge sitting tub in the actual room bordered by the carpet. No tile even on the edges of the tub. This just felt tacky and awkward in my personal opinion. I wouldn't want to stay here again, but if I had to, I wouldn't be entirely miserable. My main frustration with this hotel is the walls are super thin and as my room was positioned bordering the pool, I could hear every conversation in that space (including splashing and screaming kids). read more

Do not I repeat do not get a room at the Park Inn Radisson hotel. Me and my family booked a room there on April 15th through the 17th 2022. We were given 3 different rooms the sheets looked like someone used the bathroom on them and then smeared it around and then to top it off they have bed bugs . When we went to the front desk we were told they couldn't do anything about a refund because the GM was not there and we be in the morning. So we came back that morning to the front desk (different worker) and this worker told me that the GM would be out until Monday. So I guess I am just out of that money. So I will repeat do not book a room at the Park Inn Radisson in West Middle sex, PA and I do have pictures and videos I just don't know how to post them with this review!!!!! read more

So we had a wedding for my daughter in new Wilmington We had all the guests stay there .. seem great. Not so.. the rooms were nice but the after festivities embarrassing me to no end. I paid for everything . We went there after the reception to stay and hang with the wedding people. In the bar there we obnoxious drunk people who knocked my wife to the floor. When we went to the bar waited till the girl went around 3 times making sure the tall young boys got served. She spoke up and asked for a beer the response from the bartender was don't talk to me like that and called security. We were escorted out.. the head of security Said I don't have to listen to this and walked a way . I'm 55 paid for my daughters wedding had a great time there then was humiliated by bartender security guards and the he'd of security. The counter person was the savior saw what wa going on and fixed what he could. Don't go there for any reason they do not know who to treat people. Embarresss us to no end I needed to explain to my sister brother inlawx2 sister in law son daughter multiple friends I was not drunk nor my wife. Robert lazier. I stayed at this hotel with friends recently while visiting a church convention in the area. Although my friends stayed here about four years ago and recommended it I found this hotel to be sub-par for the following reasons: 1: room and halls had a musty smell and decor was out dated 2: bathtub had no slip resistant material 3: the entire floor and room felt damp 4: we had two rooms and the refrigerator in one of the rooms was in desperate need of defrosting. 5: no breakfast offered On the plus side the free wifi works great and the pool was nice If I do return to the area in the future I will certainly choose another hotel. read more

I highly recommend NOT staying here. There are several other hotels in this area and we clearly picked the wrong one. Especially for any size of group such as conference or a wedding event. The only good thing about our stay was the friendly front desk staff. Other than that the room was very sub-par, there was a musty smell that seemed to be coming from the drapes, or the rug, or both. The cherry on top of my experience was how terrible the bartender was treating customers. From the moment anyone would come in he was yelling to and at customers. This hotel was clearly unprepared for any kind of medium group. It was easy to see that man doesn't belong in the service industry and had little regard for his job. He was lazy, on top of being rude and yelling over customers, at other customers. this was a fairly quiet group, especially for a wedding. He even screamed at a girl for showing her military ID. Not sure if he has a problem with veterans but I feel it was blatant disrespect to one of the guests. Unfortunately when the area of hotels is fairly saturated, the unprofessionalism of one middle aged man with a bad hair cut ruined the experience for many people. Instead of spending money and socializing with friends many chose to leave, because they were so uncomfortable. For the locals who stayed, and myself it's easy to say we will not be back. I give fair warning to any wedding party that would consider giving this place their business. read more

This place is a mess... I chose this hotel because for some reason, google reviews gave it a 4/5. This was a business trip and I needed a decent nights sleep in order to get to the customer early in the morning. Questionable Check-In I had 2 rooms booked. One for me and the other for my coworker. The girl at the front assumed we'd share a room instead of looking at her computer. She gave us key cards for 1 room and had to ask her to look through her system again to confirm I had reserved 2 rooms. There weren't many people staying at the hotel on that Wednesday night. At most there were 20 vehicles in the parking lot, which could've easily handled 100+ There were better rooms that had balconies which overlooked the pools... but wasn't placed there. We were put into 2 rooms which were extremely far apart from one another. I was placed in a room right next to the Interstate and didn't get any rest that night. Unusual Directions: I then asked her if there were any places to eat near by. She told us, "yes, if you go down our drive and turn right, you will find a bunch of places to eat. You can also find a very good Italian place as well." My coworker and I assumed this would be within walking distance or a 5 min drive. We were VERY wrong. We had to drive 15mins (55miles/h) to get to the nearest place. We drove around and around to find the Italian place but after 20mins of searching, we gave up and chose to eat at BWs. We didn't find the Italian place until the next morning when we drove 20-25mins away from the Inn. Poor facilities. 1. The ceiling lights of the elevator shook/swayed excessively. It seemed like it would fall off at any time. The doors didn't close for 3mins (no button as well)... this scared us and we chose to leave the elevator. 2. Hallway carpets looked old and need replaced. 3. One of the back doors leading from outside is broken. It didn't require a card to walk in and the keycard lock/handle was hanging off. Room: Registered for a single king size bed. Had a king size and a double. The restroom is tiny. The door must be closed in order to use the restroom or take a bath/shower. Bathtub pain peeling all over. Wifi had password and once you connect it hardly works. Breakfast is also extremely expensive. Good things: 1. check-out was simple 2. there is a work out space 3. pool and hot tub look great. read more

Rooms need major updates. Beds not comfortable at all. One of the main entrance doors would not open due to heaving concrete. Lots of screaming kids by the pool. Ordered some take out from Combine's and asked for plastic silverware at the front desk and was told that they did not have any. I mentioned borrowing some from the on site restaurant that looked closed during my entire stay and front desk advised I could for a fee? What!? read more

Definitely not a two star gotta be at least 1 star! We will never stay in this hotel again! Ceiling is all moldy and paint plaster was all bubbled out. The ceiling was disgusting with black mold. The jacuzzi we had to clean ourself as it has hair in it and all kinds of dirt particles and the air jet releases had mold in them as they haven't cleaned obviously since they installled it.! They were told not to charge the one card as we were putting on another card in the morning and they put it on the card we initially used anyways and couldn't wait for the reversal that would take three to four days. Went there May 20th for a wedding, initial judgement made at the door which would not open on its own and need me to spread the door apart to get in. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating but the facilities are abysmal, paint is peeling off the ceiling, hallways smell of cigarette smoke. They also had a live cover band playing and if you are in a room facing the courtyard it will sound as if the band is in your room as well as all of the children that run rampant by the pool. They did help us get a room at the Hampton Inn and Suites up the hill and were very apologetic for the inconvenience. read more

The staff was friendly, the beds are sleep number beds (comfy), and the location is convenient to the interstate.
