We stayed here for a wedding. It was nicer than I expected. It was a rather small typical Hampton room. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and functional. The area is nice with lots of restaurants nearby. There is a nice lobby to sit in. Although the tables weren't cleaned very well from breakfast. And there's a coffee station by check in. The carpets are older and could be replaced if I were to nitpick. I'm somewhat of a hotel snob and I would stay here again. So that says a lot! read more

our stay wasn't that good: 1st the bed were rock hard and not comfortable in the slightest! 2nd they didn't have enough towel and toilet paper and nobody was at the desk when we went to ask for more. the only decent thing was the breakfast yet that was only sparse in variety and mediocre at best. i would not recommend this hotel if you want a good experience and a good nights sleep. read more

Location was great. Common areas clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking. Room was not ready at check-in. Mattress was very uncomfortable as there was a large concavity in the middle. Kids complained that the pullout couch smelled horrible. Very limited options offered for breakfast and my wife was not able to get coffee as all that was available when she went to breakfast was hot water and decaf. Hotel manager, Kim P. was incredibly unpleasant and condescending. Shouldn't be in hospitality with her lack of customer service. read more

I have been a Diamond Member with Hilton for a long time. Stayed at this hotel to run a 1/2 marathon and Hamlin and requested a late check out. However, Julia at the front desk informed me that a late check out was not possible with no reason why. I have never had a late check out request be denied. Plus, when I arrived the staff working the desk were too busy on their cell phones to even greet me (good thing I had the digital key). The Manager of this place needs to get things tightened up with their staff. read more

The Good: It's clean The Bad: The beds are rocks. They are NOT Hampton Inn beds. The Ugly: Breakfast is sparse. We arrived for breakfast at 8 am greeted by a breakfast staff person arguing with a customer who was taking a plate back to his room. The customer was upset & speechless as he complained to the front desk that the lady told him not to take so much & then told him to shut-up. (it didn't look like much on his plate). There were 3 fake egg omelets, no fruit except a browned banana, no yogurt, no yogurt blended drinks...The food display stands where empty, it looked like breakfast was over. At 8am?? If you love Hampton Inn's with the comfy beds & their huge variety breakfast stay away from any with "Hilton" attached. read more

I stayed at the Hampton Inn Brockport NY for a few days for my son's baseball tournament. The hotel far exceeded my expectations. I had stayed at one other Hampton in CT last summer, and it was not the greatest experience, so I was hesitant about staying at another Hampton, but it was close to the field so I gave it a try and I am glad I did. After a very long drive to the area, I was greeted by 2 friendly staff members who quickly checked me in. They had just made fresh coffee, which was most welcomed. They gave me restaurant recommendations for the area before I headed to my room. My room was very clean. I am super picky about this, so I was really happy. The only negative was I thought the breakfast offerings were not so great. Other than that, this hotel and staff far exceeded my expectations! read more

This new hotel has by far the most amenities and nicest decor of any of the three hotels in Brockport. It's located close to both the Econolodge and Dollinger's, so location is about the same, but the new Hampton Inn is the only one with a gym (nicely equipped, with free disposable headphones for guest use) and an indoor heated swimming pool. The free breakfast buffet is ample, and our guest room was large, with surprisingly high ceiling and much more stylish decor than the other two hotels, plus nice in-room amenities that even include hand sanitizer. Service was very pleasant as well. My only beef is that the room rates tend to be pricey for a hotel of this level in a small town. But if you've got to overpay, at least this hotel has a pool and a gym, which the other two do not. read more

We recently spent 7 nights at various hotels in small towns in upstate New York, and this one was far and away the best. I'm sure it's the most expensive place in town, but we paid more elsewhere for less. We certainly felt we got a great value. The evening desk clerk was extraordinarily nice and helpful. The room was lovely - everything practically sparkled. The bathroom was delightful. We utilized the common room for an impromptu pizza party, as well as the hot tub. Both exceeded our expectations. And the hotel proved very bike-friendly (we were traveling by bicycle). If the 20 or so extra bucks you pay vs. the other places in town isn't coming directly out of the mouths of your children, stay here. You'll be glad you did. read more

I have been here for two months. It is my base for a consulting job I am doing. This is a great place. The room is clean, the free breakfast buffet has what I like to eat, the staff is very friendly, and the hot tub is hot. Only one issue; the wireless network is spotty. It often takes me 2, 3, 4, or more tries to log on. The connection drops, sometimes in the middle of my working. Oh, and this hotel is VERY bicycle-friendly. I've stayed here twice one year apart and it's so clean and comfortable! Breakfast buffet is decent and if you don't like it, plenty of other food very close by, including a Wegman's. Lobby is a comfortable place to hang out too. Staff seems very nice and helpful. read more

I can not say enough good things about the hotel and staff. It's not a "resort" style hotel, but a great place for anyone needing a hotel in the area. The staff was very accommodating to all of our (many) requests. We were in town for a family matter and even during a busy weekend, they found rooms for us as well as agreed to rent us the meeting room for the day. I had a problem with Miranda at your Brockport Hampton Inn facility. When was checked in by Alex, who was being obviously trained by Miranda, I was asked for a credit card for incidentals. When I went up to my room, I received an alert that my card had been charged $21.12. Since I was going to the lobby for coffee, I stopped by to ask what this charge was and that I had not been told about it. Miranda then went into a diatribe regarding how all hotels charge money upfront and Hilton's justification for doing so. I told her I just was at another chain hotel in Buffalo that did not charge me affirmatively, just held my card. She kept disagreeing that everyone did this. I walked away feeling stupid like I should know this and not having my real issue of not being told I would be affirmatively charged an amount on my card. When I got to my room, I called to ask her name and Alex's name so I could file a complaint. She made a point of telling me that I had signed something, a copy of which I did not receive, that said they could charge my card 20%. Again, I told her that I not questioning their doing this, just that I was not told that my card had been affirmatively charged an amount and that I wanted documentation that that had been released, assuming no additional charges to the room, when I checked out. She said they did not do that. I told her she made me, the customer, feel stupid for questioning Hilton's policy. I am an awards member and I have not been treated like this in any other of Hilton's hotels. Then when I returned home, I saw that not only had Hampton charged me the $21.12 but also an additional $50.00 fee. At that point I called Hilton's guest assistance and complained that I was having $71.12 held on a room I had already paid $105 for. I still don't understand how that makes sense or it was allowed to do that. I will think twice before staying at a Hilton property again. read more

The rooms are comfortable--nice linens, good mattress, nicely appointed. The breakfast, however, is awful. Lukewarm oatmeal, limited fresh fruit, rubbery eggs, hot water for tea that tastes of coffee...No yogurt. There was only one person working in the breakfast room and the room was packed. She was working hard, but couldn't keep up. Hotel management needs to staff this shift more appropriately--and provide more appealing and healthful choices. read more

I normally love Hampton Inn. So when my uncle came in from out of state to visit for a wedding I highly recommended this location. He made reservations well in advance for 8/22 - 8/26. The first night he arrived there was broken molding and a broken towel rack on the floor as well as horrible water pressure in the shower.. The next morning they told him they would comp him that night and fix the issues in that room. When he asked if they could switch his room they told him no they had no other rooms. When he came back to his room later in the evening they had fixed the rack and the molding however the water pressure was the same. When he complained they told him that they would have the manager call him the next morning. When the general manager called him she told him that they have done all they can for him and they would not comp the room for the second night. All my uncle wanted was an easy stay and to switch rooms when they water pressure was horrible. They offered to switch his room for the 3rd night however still charge him for the second night of cruddy water pressure..Or they told him he can feel free to leave. They are just great here!! Always accommodating. We told them our daughter wanted to spend the night there for her birthday. When we got there they had a sign at the check in desk with her name and Happy Birthday!! Also put something nice in the room for her. We go a few times a year and never had any kind of issue.
